They were fun, friendly, open to questions, and gave advice when any of us needed help with our painting. Totally suggest Painting With A Twist for a friends night out, date night, or even a solo night out. They offer so many different artwork options (that you can choose from when you book) at a decent price! They are BYO wine and beer.

Jessica created a delightful floral mosaic design. She kept me informed of cost and schedule. The result is drop-dead gorgeous! Friends and neighbors are so complimentary. Even the mailman is a big fan! There are so many lovely mosaics and murals in the city of Philly, so it felt especially fun to bring some of that whimsey into the suburbs. She allowed my grandson and other family members to place a tile on the wall, making it even more special. My grandson loves to point out "his leaf" to everyone. Jessica is a talented and committed artist with years of experience. She is friendly, down-to-earth, and easy to work with. Her creations are unique. She uses a mixture of handmade clay tiles with special designs and glazes along with commercially-made tile. The result is breath-taking. She is a delight to work with. I can highly recommend her.

You get everything you need to complete the project, as well as lifetime access to a great instructional video you can review later at home if you're finishing up the project outside class and need a refresher on what you learned. I'd say the 15 "littles" there ranged in ages from under 3 months to probably 2-3, and she did a great job of keeping them engaged. A couple of other things I noticed/appreciated: -A "no screens" rule -- not only can you not be on your phones, they can't be out! While the documentarian parent in me resisted at first, it turns out that living in and enjoying the moment is actually not so awful. ;) -Restroom with a changing table (should be a given anywhere, but we all know it isn't) -A storyplay specifically focused on dads and grandpas. In a mom-focused world, it's nice to see a place for men to be fathers and grandfathers. -Books for sale! Including books she'd shared with us, books I knew, and books I'd never seen before. -If you buy a book per member of your family, that pays for your admission for the day. (Classes are normally $10, but you can buy a pass for 10 classes for $90.) -As we were leaving, a birthday party was coming in -- I thought this was a great idea, especially in the middle of a very cold winter. The teachers have great singing voices and all of the children enjoy the stuffed animals and acting out th e noises they make. My son particularly likes the instruments that the teachers use that he hasn't seen anywhere else. This class is never TOO crowded unlike the location in grad Hospital where there is sometimes nowhere to sit! We love coming here and love that you can buy a few books to cover the class for the class. They have an a,axing children's book selection in both Spanish and English.

Sweet....Arden theater had "green eggs and ham" 1 day workshop to help the kids learn about character building, rhythm, and dance. I was worried that she would be shy, but it seems all the kids just jumped right in. They learned a musical number "green eggs and ham" (with piano). It really helped that the teachers were very patient and just as excited as the kids. During the workshop, the parents were not allowed to stay in the room to observe, only to return during the last 15 mins for a show by the kids ( what they learned). I had about 2 hours to kill so walked all around old city and went to a few nice boutique. Next time I will plan on a nice lunch....wish I thought of that sooner but I took too long to decide and ran out of time. I would definitely recommend this acting workshop and I will sign her up again. It's just a few hours and you can get some time to yourself.
