They only have one sales woman on Sundays (or that was the case this time anyway (7-19-20), so it took quite a while to check out and was a little awkward standing in that quiet of an environment with strangers for that long. Maybe play a little soft music or something? It will help you feel less nervous too, nice sales woman/owner(?) Now for the good things though- they had actually quality things, not just cheap, dime-a-dozen, cliche things, but actual DECENT things to look at, many were of high quality artmanship. So yes, very impressed with the variety of Mac-A-Bee's. It was refreshing. You also carried cheaper, decently priced things for people just looking for souvenirs which I did appreciate, so thank you. It's basically the perfect highway break: grab some food from the market, stretch your legs, wander around for a bit, and inevitably find something you didn't know you needed before getting back on the road. The building itself is huge and has THREE stories, the first floor is the market, while the top two floors are packed with antiques and collectibles. And when I say there's a LOT to look at, I mean it. There were so many different booths and collections, from vintage toys and Disney goodies to western pieces, furniture, records, books, home decor, random nostalgic treasures, and plenty of things I had to stop and look at twice. I especially loved seeing all the little vintage and nostalgic finds tucked throughout the different booths! Some of the prices were definitely a little questionable for what they were, but honestly, we still had such a lovely time wandering around and taking everything in. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a really fun place to explore and break up a long drive. Definitely adding this to the "stop again if we're ever passing through" list. Such a charming, unexpected roadside find!

Ellensburg Floral was WONDERFUL! Their website was easy to use for placing my order, I was able to include a customized note for him, and also was able to note any other requests. I had chosen the "designer's choice" arrangement but had requested that the colors be fun and bright and they nailed it! He had been gone when the florist arrived to deliver it, and they left a note requesting that he call them when he was home. I was VERY impressed by this, they absolutely could have just left the flowers on his porch but how thoughtful to do it this way instead! He called them and scheduled a time later in the day for them to return. He said the lady who made the delivery that afternoon was very sweet and kind as well. I'll definitely use Ellensburg Floral again to send him flowers (he LOVES plants and flowers). Side note...my son mentioned after he got the flowers and had called me that Ellensburg Floral is the BEST in town and that next time I visit him I need to check out their gift shop because it's really great. I'll be sure to do that!
