There's other little shops to stop at and Gallery 1 is an awesome walk through. Great selection for many different types of styles. I seriously want to buy everything in their from the jeans to jewelry! Haha. Also super quality pieces and material which coincides with being a great value! For sure reasonably priced and very quality garments Heidi who manages the store is seriously a delight! Definitely makes any shopping experience that much better. She is not overbearing but extremely knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell she genuinely cares for and takes interest in every customer that walks in. Well we went in to ask if would be opening up since the lights were on. The owner greeted us and said oh the girl just went home sick but I have time I can open the store for you. As we waiting for her, she was so gracious to the guest she was assisting and her other staff as she explained the situation and excused herself. So our sweet girls got to on their annual shopping spree at their favorite store in Leavenworth thanks to her. I can't remember her name but she was so friendly and loved helping the girls pick things out and show them all the toys and accessories in the shop. We have gone to both shops for the last 5 years on our annual trip to Leavenworth and every time the experience is exceptional. We had just finished wine tasting near Yakima and we wanted to do some shopping before dinner. A pet peeve of mine is that many stores on the east side of the state are not open after the wineries close (at 5 or 6pm) and closed on Sunday. I really don't get this, everyone needs a day off and time for church, but I wonder if the stores would be more successful if Monday was their day off instead of Sunday when the tourists are in town. Anyways, I digress, Gretchen was just closing at 5 pm and we drove up and she stayed open for us. I found a gorgeous knit dress in two seconds and ended up buying a great sweater for work and fabulous scarf in addition. Gretchen was so nice and easy to talk to as I looked through her tastful clothing. She suggested some items for me to try (really cute) and we talked about brands that we love.
