I wanted to send my brother a hand gun for his birthday. I live in Ellensburg and he lives in Tennessee. I had no knowledge of the process on how to do that. I only knew I couldn't ship it myself. She walked me through the process while being kind and patient with me (concerning my lack of knowledge.) She contacted the shop in Tennessee right away and sent the FFL. Don't deal with these folks. They cost me $200 by underpricing my pistol and then they told me the pistol hadn't sold so I sold it myself for $200 more then they said it was worth. When I told them that I had sold the pistol then they said it was sold but two days before they told me it wasn't sold. I don't trust these folks at all. beware read more

I recently had a wonderful experience at Sure Shot. I am an out of towner and was on an archery hunt for Elk nearby. On Saturday morning my bow broke. My hunt was over. I packed my gear and came down from the mountain headed for home. Driving through town I noticed the shop and thought maybe they could repair my bow. Todd looked at it and told me it was toast.....boo hoo. He then,not knowing me from Adam said " grab that new bow off the wall and see if it fits". I did and it did....He then said" get back up in the woods. Bring it back when you are through".....Wow! I was and am still dumbfounded. That's way beyond good customer service. I am so impressed by the attitude and actions of the owner that I have told all of my friends. This is my promise that whenever I need a new bow or firearm I will make the trip to Kittitas and Sure Shot to make that purchas. The world could use more Todds. read more

This family run operation is a great place to do business with. Todd, Melody and Cody are the greatest people to deal with, friendly and helpful in every way. I have purchased new and used firearms from them, have sold some on consignment and have also had them receive items requiring a FFL license. They have a good variety of sporting goods and sell/receive items for pawn or trade in on other items. I ran across their shop when my kids were attending CWU in Ellensburg and have considered them "my gun shop" ever since. I appreciate the personal touch I receive by being a repeat customer, dealing with people I know who know me too. I feel it is worth the 3 hour round trip to deal with Sure Shot, as opposed to the stores here in the Tri-Cities, where no one knows you, won't deal with you and the guy behind the counter is different each time you go in. Having a gun shop that will talk to you as a friend, give you their honest opinion and fair deals has been a wonderful experience.
