This is the only salon I will go to now. Kristin (I hope it is spelled right) is the only person I will let touch my hair. The owner suggested her as someone who knows how to work with long hair so I tried her seven months ago after a bad cut somewhere else with someone else left my hair uneven and grossly choppy. She helped me even it out dramatically but she suggested then we work on growing it out. So I did. I went back today for another cut and it is flawless. She's so good. After many, many years of searching for someone who can do a great job on my long hair, I am relieved to have really found that. The shampoo massage is worth the money I spend here alone. read more

I love this salon! I'm new to the area and googled hair salons near me, along with a # miles radius. ( I'm always ready to travel for the right place, of course). I read through several and came across FLöK. I read the amazing reviews and thought I'm going to give them a try. My first appt, they are amazing. The service from the moment I walked in was friendly, professional and accommodating (coffee, tea, water.. Yes please!!). We are so happy to see you! The quality was beyond what I expected, so happy!! My hair was a mess, bad color, split, dry.... She made it look amazing beyond my expectations! Such a cool atmosphere! The smells, the decor, and how they attend to you are all amazing. Today was my first experience here and at first it was a great experience. Beautiful salon. Very upscale. I met my stylist and he was nice enough. The issue I have with him was the cigarette breathe in and around my face for 2 hours. It was quite gross. He colored my hair and it turned out nice and I loved it, and then when I got home, the coloring looked so different than what I saw at the salon. My roots went from a dark brown to a blondeish red and the rest was a brown red (I went in for a light brown and had pictures for reference soooooo). I'll give it another shot, but maybe with a different stylist... *UPDATE*: Also on a side note: I just noticed he cut my hair at an angle and it's about 4 inches shorter than I asked for...I wanted it at my collar bone and it's currently hovering over my shoulders. I came here to get a haircut since it was only 5 min from my house. I should've stuck w my other salon and driven to Tampa. The salon is very nice and everyone I encountered who worked there was pleasant. I was more upset w my hair cut than anything else. The first red flag is she cut my bangs wet! That's a huge no no w bangs. She also didn't cut my layers short enough as I had asked. I told her I like short layers so I can have volume in my hair. Her next client was waiting so I could tell she was trying to move things along which I hate. Of course I didn't notice until I got home and washed my hair the next day and tried to style it. My bangs were not blended w the rest of my hair. She chopped the crap out of bangs. My hair goes from side swiped bangs to long hair, looks horrible. I had barely any layers so there goes the styling. For the price of the haircut and the reputation of the salon I expected a more seasoned stylist who knew what they were doing. Now I have to wait till my bangs grow out to get my hair fixed. I will not be coming back here. read more

My hair turned out amazing! The staff was quite nice but i do have one thing that really bothered me. The Hair cut was great but my review is more of an experience thing. Keep in mind i'm younger i guess and i might not understand what i'm doing and what i'm saying might not make any sense :v ? but i'm trying to make my explaining as clear as possible. I also might be overreacting sorry. After my hair was washed he began to put my hair into a ponytail and he put a flower into my hair which i guess is okay but definitely not what i expected but okay and then he cut my hair off with the flower and ponytail. That part is besides the point. What the purpose of this review is that the whole time that was happening one of the staff was recording me. I never gave anyone permission to record me, not at all. Even if they cropped my face out of the mirror part i'm still not okay with it. Thinking back i should have mustered (i don't think that's the right word for it but i'll just go with it) up the confidence and just asked him to stop but i think it's too late now. Maybe it's something you should expect now i've seen "satisfying hair cuts" etc on instagram and snapchat and other social media's. I'm not sure. But either way i'm still not okay with it. I was also being watched the whole time? it's kind of odd but not terrible. But other than that my hair cut is nice and the location is nice there is some good food right by there! I have a hard time figuring out exactly what I want, but Kenny went above and beyond to learn about my lifestyle and goals to help me decide what my perfect hair would be. It took me a while to find the perfect color, but Kenny worked with me until it turned out exactly how I wanted! The all-over color, balayage, and cut that I got turned out beyond beautiful. The whole atmosphere was so relaxing and high-end, too. I was able to enjoy a mimosa and some chocolate​ while I got my hair colored, but they offered quite a few refreshment options. Made an appt online @ 345a on a Saturday and was sitting in the stylist chair by 2p for root touch up and demi glaze. My hair was trimmed up as well! Cost was fair and at least 20-40 cheaper than Salon West. I need a touch up every 3-4 weeks so cost a consideration for me. They use L'Oreal color which is nice & many of my favorite names - Kerastase, Oribe, etc. My stylist, Emma, shared that the salon hosts educational events with Flok so the stylists are artists and take their career and pride in their work - very seriously. The salon was very warm, welcoming and serene - relax style, not dead inside! Comfy chairs & the bowl to rinse... pretty awesome! Don't be fooled by the parking in the Publix lot - this isnt a strip mall hair cutters. Do yourself a favor if your struggling to find your salon & stylist in the area. Amazing experience!!! I have never been one to invest much in my hair but I'm starting a new job soon and figured it was time. I have always had long hair and hate hate hate getting it cut. I walked into the salon yesterday with almost orange hair from all the brassy tones. I told Lee that I wanted a face framing cut & to somehow but the brassy tones of my hair while not totally dying my natural hair.
