Went for an updo for my brothers wedding and it turned out awful. They also quoted me one price and tried charging me more. Pinterest picture is what I wanted and the other picture is what I left with. I would have had them redo it, but there was no time. I do not recommend this salon for an updo. I had a terrible experience at this salon. It wasn't warm and welcoming like places I had been to in the past, especially excited to get ready for a family member's wedding. The owner Yolanda had told us it would be $100 each for both hair and makeup. Fast forward, we finish and go to pay and because we "had a lot of hair" (which I wouldn't necessarily agree with, especially because she was not the one working on our hair) that it would now be $125 and that all the sudden makeup was also $125 when we just spoke days before confirming $100. She claims that the makeup and hair girls are subcontracted and that was their price. She knew how many people were coming and what services we came for so knew exactly who would be there to do hair and makeup. I would not recommend this salon and would be cautious about the cost. We were extremely disappointed and Yolanda never once apologized. read more

This place is awesome. I got a Diva cut for my curly hair to make is less triangular. It wasn't my intention to get that cut, but the lady told me it would do wonders. I'm so happy I listened! I recommend 100% to all my curly haired friends! Before my hair was all the same length and frizzy. The ladies even gave me some free hair products because I'm military. Requested a haircut with Yolanda, as per great reviews on Yelp. She booked me for that very day! Arrival found Yolanda impaired with burned hand, so she had Yanni waiting. Wondering why she didn't tell me that morning about her inability to do the cut. I'm not unhappy with the cut, only that I spent considerable time explaining what I wanted, even had photo of myself with preferred style. I wanted enough length left so I could band it in the FL humidity. Yanni ignored me completely, did his own thing. I have very curly hair which with a good cut is wet and go! Never a hair dryer! I yelled stop when he was about to buzz my neck! He then took out the blow dryer and started straightening...Again, stop! These people don't listen...be aware. It's two weeks after, and I can't tell you how many folks have raved about the "cut I didn't ask for". Really! It's so well cut that it takes me NO time at all. So, if Yolanda and Yanni will cut me a break, I'm sure I'll be back when the time comes. read more

I have been to this salon twice now. The stylist who cut my hair will give you a great cut. I don't recall her name but she was from one of the eastern bloc countries when there was a soviet union. She isn't chatty as she wants to concentrate on cutting your hair. She is very thorough. Price is $60 for a cut. read more

This salon was highly overpriced. The first thing they say is no masks needed here and your greeted with a Trump picture. My biracial child felt very uncomfortable. The "Karen" in the next salon chair was looking at my child in pure disgust. And for them it was ok. The owner was upset that I did not tip the stylist for a cut, that I had to have her fix. One of the best Salon experiences I have ever had. Yolanda was so knowledgeable about color uses only Alfaraj Milano organic color from Italy. Color was perfect and the blow out lasted for 3 days. Yolanda used a product called "CRACK" kept the humidity out of my hair left it straight for 3 days!!!!!! While I processed Yolanda introduced me to the nail salon behind her shop and had a mani pedi. 6/28 - I just moved here desperately needed a cut & color I called about 5 today and Yolanda was happy to have me come right over. Nice lady BUT...... I asked for an "almost pixie / long pixie" I showed her a picture of my hair that way from the front which had the colors I had before in the pic which is what I wanted again. The cut is good but it's not as long in front/sides/top as I wanted but it's difficult to communicate on a first visit so I give her that. The cut she did was done well. BUT... The color OMG I have diagonal "STRIPES" on my sides and back of my head in the 3 colors I asked for (blonde, Deep red, brown) I do not know what to describe it like but it looks bad I'm going to run out to the store for a box of color - it's that bad. I will try to attach a pic. Bottom line I assume she's good at long color I don't know but short hair I would RUN somewhere else for sure. What's also sucky is my hair went maybe half way over my ears before the cut and she said it's usually $150 but I will only charge you $125. This is after she knew I was not happy with the results of the color. There is no way anybody would want color done like this. I don't complain terribly when these things happen in person I politely try to exit as quickly as possible-- so don't assume I was a difficult customer. I was in town for a conference. Made a same day appointment. Received an excellent haircut. Yolanda asked great questions about my hair to make sure she cut it right. Her approach is to use a water bottle to wet the hair and then cut it. This is a great approach if you are just trimming your existing hair style. After she cuts your hair, she then washes your hair, blows it dry and adds a bit of product. Her prices are very reasonable. All in all, I strongly recommend her. read more
