I don't live close to a Floor and Décor but saw them online and thought I would drive 2 1/2 hours to check them out. My wife and I are building a house and have a lot of tile to purchase. We went to the Mesquite location and really liked the store. Great product with good pricing. Service at the store was great. We bought over $10,000 worth of tile and I rented a box truck and drove it home. The problem came when we needed more tile to finish up some of the rooms. The customer service at all the stores, I called many, and website is non-existent when calling by phone. I've waited on hold for up to 40 minutes trying to find out if my product has shipped. 30 minutes at a time without hearing from anyone. My order is shipping from the Dallas store and I'm currently on my 4th business day that they say it's going to ship today. I tried calling the Mesquite location and they answer the phone, "can you please hold" and immediately put me on hold. I hang up after 5 minutes on hold. The Atlanta store didn't even answer the phone. Worst online Customer Service ever. If you can't always go to the store to pick it up yourself, don't use Floor and Décor. Also sent them 2 messages with my concerns from their website and have heard nothing back. Very frustrating!!! read more

I was looking to remove all the carpet from my home and also remodel my bathrooms and looked at several outlets but was not satisfied with their service and pricing. So I by chance stumbled onto Floor and Decor while in the Mesquite area. I met the stone department manager Lewis Elliot and he walked me thru the store and really opened my eyes to pricing and my options. The overall variety was almost overwhelming but with Lewis' help me put a plan together to get some great ideas. After several visits with my wife, I got all the flooring and material I needed and am really impressed with my home. All my friends can't believe it is the same home. I was considering moving but my wife also really loves the results and we now planning on staying. I really appreciate Lewis and the workers at this store. I know when I decide to do more flooring work in my home I will go back to this store. I needed pebble stone for my shower floor and slate for my porch. I was helped by the most amazing consultant! Courtney explained the process of purchasing the in stock slate materials for my builder and when the sliced pebble stone was not in stock, she gave me the option of purchasing it from another store who had plenty in stock if I would pay the delivery fee. She then found out the cost of shipping and when I agreed, she checked the store and asked them to do an actual search to be sure. When that store was checking, she helped another customer while waiting on hold and was helpful and courteous to them. Her interactions with her fellow associates during this time were fun and helpful. When that store did not have enough, she immediately called a second store and after several minutes had success! Today Floor and Decor came through when I needed it most. I decided to take up the carpet throughout my house and put down laminate and I wanted it done before Christmas. Out of all the places I looked, either they didn't have the color/type I was looking for or they had what I wanted but not enough of it. I was told to check out Floor and Decor and this location was the closet to me. Today was my first time in the store and as I was checking the different styles of laminate on display an employee by the name of Lewis I believe asked if I needed any assistance. I told him what I was looking for and how much I needed. Without hesitation Lewis gave me a brief tour of what he had and even gave me a few of his personal recommendations. I must say that I found what I was looking for and was able to get my order filled the same day without having to order it. One room has already been completed. We went to Floor and Decor at the Mesquite store to finish a tile job in our hallway. The customer service from Tiavya was above and beyond. In this industry, basic questions from newbies are often met with condescension, this was NOT the case with Tiavya. She was outstanding! She not only knew what she was talking about, she was more than willing to take the time explain it to me in my terms and without a tinge of superiority. So glad to meet her, we will be back (we have a lot more flooring to do), and when we do, we look forward to working with her and her colleagues again. Thanks for a great experience! I am behind in posting this review as my first round of help came in Dec 2016. We had a contractor coming to build a new shower and really wanted an accent tile to go with the tile we had already purchased here at Floor and Décor. We chose the Tarsus Gray polished 12" x 24" and the 2" x 2" for the floor. Beautiful tile. Enter Abram, the guy who should be a professional designer. Seriously. We told him what we wanted and the first thing he asked was "what kind of hardware & fixtures?" ORB... He got the perfect mosaic (Reflections Light Linear Glass Mosaic) to tie it all together and capped it off with a tiny rope trim in bronze. Even my contractors RAVED about the design. Can't say enough great things about this young man, except that I expect HGTV will steal him away from F & D! read more

I very rarely write reviews, however I simply must share my experience. I am in the process of remodeling my son's bathroom and the master bath. I had been shopping all morning and feeling so beat down and overwhelmed when I decided to make one last stop at Floor and Decor. I AM SO GLAD I DID! I had pictures and ideas of what I wanted but I needed HELP! All the design specialist were busy and I was pressed for time. I was approached by Angie A.(Customer Care Manager). She took my pictures and ideas and we put a plan together. We were all over the store and her knowledge and expertise was very refreshing. Every time I go to this Floor and Decor on Town East Blvd, (and I have been OFTEN in this last 6 months or so) I am greeted with friendly faces and helpful employees who seem to enjoy their jobs. From the design pros to the folks behind the registers, every encounter with employees I have had has been pleasant and positive. ESPECIALLY helpful has been Tosan Okotete! He is so very knowledgeable about ALL aspects of the tile and floor business, from products and procedures to design and aesthetics! He has made the difficult task of making aesthetic decisions regarding tile and materials for a remodel so much less painful, and, in fact, PLEASANT! So I recently went to the floor and décor in Mesquite initially with the intent just to browse and get some ideas for a bathroom remodel. I will admit that I'm fairly conservative(boring) when it comes to design but have always wanted to be that person who gets the "ooh's and ahh's from guests that enter my home. While there I met the most wonderful person, Ms. Gwen, a designer. She gave me so many wonderful ideas, each one more unique and creative than the last. She was like a living, breathing Pinterest board. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable she was just such an all around joy to talk to. Ronnie Jones in the tile department is the best!!. Because of his excellent customer service and taking his time with us, we were finally able to make a decision on our tile. We ended up getting a crate full. I believe he was supposed to go to lunch when we were working with him but he just kept helping us. We made so many trips to this store for supplies for renovations to our lake house and THIS GUY, Ronnie Jones, took the most time with us, was the most helpful to us and if I need anything else I'm going straight to him. Stopped in for some advice and needed to remodel my kitchen and bathroom, was a bit lost since my contractor sent me in. Went with the wife and one of their design consultants Suzy I believe. Greeted us and began asking questions to understand us and what we wanted. She probed with her questions until we all found something my wife and I loved! She patiently assisted me as we looked for tile to match my concept for my bathroom build, as well as, my kitchen build. I recently purchased approximately 2,000 square feet of vinyl flooring from the Mesquite, TX store. This was for a non-profit organization, so it took a bit to get registered as tax exempt. All of the ladies at the cashier area went above and beyond to help me. In particular, Ava. Others that also assisted were Giselle, Kim, and Blanca. I was in and out within 10 minutes this morning with a great deal on solid hardwoods I spotted online. It was the easiest home improvement transaction I can remember. Michael walked me from the front door directly to exactly what I had asked to see, and recommended the best pad.
