He really knows what he is doing, and helped us find the right carpet for our new home. After the sale, what really impressed us was how professional the whole outfit was. We were in direct contact with supervisors who kept us apprised of their plan each day and what the next steps were. A couple of weeks after the installation was complete, we had some questions about one of the seams. They sent out a supervisor and the installation crew to be ready if repairs were needed. Their installers are experienced pros and we feel like we got a great value for the price. We are completely thrilled with our carpets, too. Quality carpet makes such a difference. Think about it, what would you have to do to get them to honor the warranty and get at least descent work? Take them to court? It will cost you! When we went to check on the progress we walked into our house and saw brand new carpet with sand, saw dust, cut pieces of 2x4, nails and cut up pieces of drywall all over it. The windows were not due to be put in for another 3 weeks. This BS wasn't the only idiotic thing they did. They installed the wrong color carpet. We had brown tile with taupe color carpet. Taupe and brown don't go together at all. Guess what? It wasn't their problem the windows weren't installed yet" is what I was told. I responded "you should know better not to install carpet in a home without windows installed yet. They're not even done putting up the drywall." His response to me was, "listen, I'm not going to continue discussing this with you. As a favor I will send a guy out to shampoo the carpet and I don't even have to do that. My response, "I can't believe you guys did this it is so messed up."That is when I realized the color was wrong. I let him know that too. His response "we did not install the wrong color, what got installed was what was written down." His reply, "I'm done with this matter, its not our problem. Then he hung up on me. Unbelievable! There is only 1 answer to such poor poor service. The owner is a shameless, worthless, nasty scum bag. They have screwed over so many people and will continue on. They overlooked the work areas prior to installation and asked that we verify that they had correct carpet and padding. Once verified they went right to work removing the old carpet and padding. They kept us informed of their progress and when finished they made sure the work areas were clean and the job was done to our satisfaction. My carpets were so clean that WHILE HE WAS THERE, my pisser dog (love her to pieces but geez) went into a bedroom that he had completed and left a little reminder that she would always have the last word. OMG, so I caught her in the act and scolded her and put her outside. I then had to go and find Chris and tell him of her antics. He laughed and made me feel at ease and just retreated for urine and cleaned it right there. The best part of using this company was the carpets looked like a fresh new version of the carpet that we started with. When we moved in, remember I said the carpets had a horrible smell in the house (part one of my review)? NOT THIS TIME. I was so not a believer that his method would eliminate the smell. I was sure we were going to have to remove these bedroom carpets and start with new carpets. NOPE. They look amazing. I am so impressed. Now the price. .....so many people call for prices and when they hear the price, they are scared away. I guarantee you that the price is more than the fliers you receive in the mail for $120 whole house but you get what you pay for. I prefer, sanitized carpets, with no residual smell when the carpet guy leaves. There were stains in the carpet that were not defined ones but just an overall dirty look in certain areas of these lightly colored bedroom carpets.
