Sticking with the brand name, we attempted that here. BIG MISTAKE. We happened to catch a commercial of Mark's Floors and noticed it was a local store! We went in and spoke with Margaret who was soo much more personable and helpful than the other employee at Carpet One. Not only was she helpful but she listened to our wants and took us over to the carpet that we requested. We found one we liked almost instantly! One thing we noticed that we were unfamiliar with in comparison to stores like Lowe's, Home Depot, and Carpet One, is the cost on the back of the carpet was the one and only number. We LOVED this! It included the labor and padding all in one! There was no multiple levels of padding! It was hey, we got good padding and it's included in the all in one price!! The entire process was smooth and the carpet was about $4,500 less than our quote from several other places! We expected to wait for a while for the carpet to be installed, due to it being a smaller business, and we needed roughly 3,000sqft of carpet! We were amazed at the two week turnaround including the measurement day, then the carpet delivery, and even the installation! Two amazing gentleman got here at 8:30am on May 1st 2023, and were moving furniture, pulling up the old carpet and padding, bringing up the new carpet and padding. The work ethic and speed at which they were doing quality work is hardly ever seen! We were stunned and impressed! As they were getting to the downstairs they only had 3 rooms left and it was nearing 6:30pm. They were willing to stay and finish, but we requested that they go home and rest! We cannot say enough about the look, the color, and the durability thus far of this carpet!! From the start with Margaret's hospitality, to the cost structure, the turn around time, and finally the work ethic of the installers, we can not give enough praise to this company! A denial letter is forthcoming. " - FrankCrum General Agency 07/23/2025. Not because they weren't responsible for the installation, but because they are not insured for negligent workmanship. To directly address their continued claim they were misled and a rogue employee performed the install, we have on camera Ricardo Naldi (the registered owner) coming to my home to bid the job, and then himself and three other employees on the following days coming in RNALDI branded T-shirts and in an RNALDI labeled vehicle to perform the install. No one was misled; RNALDI had every opportunity to inspect the site and perform an assessment of the materials to be installed. They sold us the glue and the vapor barrier as evidence by the checks they endorsed and cashed. The result of the work speaks for itself. We relied on their alleged expertise and professionalism, as well as their assurance that their work was insured. I am not sure why either Ulysses or Ricardo continue to state here misleading information or deny responsibility for the work they themselves performed. We will now pursue other options in order to remedy this situation.

Was originally quoted $850, upon arrival they said that it was all done wrong and had to start over. Quote went from $850 to $2600 for just labor. I was on a tight schedule so I agreed. He had me buy red guard because he said that the plastic liners leak all the time. Job get completed and 3 months later went we go to used the shower (guest bathroom) we noticed a water puddle in the garage coming from shower upstairs. Called leak detection and water was leaking from 2 sides of the drain next to grout crack and in the corner of pan. Leak detection guys said to call the tile guys to fix the leak in pan. I called John from Luong Tile and had me buy caulk and he come by to take a look. At Home Depot while buying the caulk I asked one of the employees and he laughed and said that's not the right way to fix the leak. I got nervous and called a plumber to take a look and verified the pan was leaking. He said pan need to be replaced. When John arrived the next day he attempted to just caulk the leaks but I said that wasn't the right way to fix it and the pan needs to be redone. He refused to replace the pan and said nothing we can do. Called another plumber to get second opinion. Second verified the leak and said was the responsibility of the person who laid tile and that I should s I'll will be filing a complaint to Contractors license board, BBB and filing a small claims case.

Maclean is a very nice guy and easy to work with, however the job done left a lot to be desired. The job was to rip up the carpet on my upstairs landing and stairs. He and another gentleman completed the job in about 2 days. Let's start with the landing, the floor was uneven but there was no floor prep done prior to placing the flooring to ensure the panels would be flush. As such, we have flooring the wiggles/moves up and down when we walk on it. The stairs were worse, the treads and risers were poorly placed, unevenly spaced and the caulk poorly done. We made our concerns known and he eventually came back to redo the stairs, but he was hard to get in contact with and it took about 4 months before we got them redone. We had to purchase new treads and risers which he reimbursed us for, but even the redo was only marginally better than the initial job. I'm giving two stars because he acknowledged the job wasn't up to standard and reimbursed us for the extra flooring we had to buy.
