The products they use are the best in the industry. However, it isn't necessarily the equipment which provides a great service, or the products they use, it is the extensive knowledge they possess. Also, very important, is the way they show how much they care, and the comfort of knowing that they can handle this without my help. I don't have to worry about anything. Also we no longer have to worry about leaving our shoes at the door!!
The scheduling is basically a preferred day and whether morning or afternoon. I give a brief description of what I need each time, and they are able to provide an approximate quote on the phone. For me, anytime is good, so I give them plenty of wiggle room because I know not every job will go exactly as planned.
Carpets are just one of the services they provide. The first time they came, I watched them treat several different stains several different ways. Its not just a one size fits all sort of job. You have to know what the stains are (wine, urine, blood, rust) to know what to do to treat them. Try getting koolaid out of the sofa! They have secrets!
They use these Styrofoam blocks to get your furniture off the floor while it is wet. Who else does that? Afterwards, the blocks are fun for the kids to play with. Also, because of the high power of the carpet machine, it doesn't take long to dry.
Clothes dryer vents should be cleaned regularly to prevent fires and keep the machine running efficiently. They truly are the experts in this and duct cleaning. They spend at least twice the time and work as the other guys. If you think cleaning ductwork is easy, it's probably because someone did a quick, half way job and took your money.
He was telling me about the great lengths they went through to clean rugs properly. He built a rug cleaning and rug drying station and knows exactly how to treat the many different types of fibers. After learning about how much this entails, I would never trust anyone else with an expensive rug. Ask him about it. Its really interesting. He has a product that will seal and protect that rug too. It even works on furniture and seats for cars and planes. Wine will not even stain it.
Counter tops. Tile and grout. Do you know how many kinds of tile and stone there are, and how easy they are to ruin with the wrong chemical? I don't either, but they do. These are the guys I want.
I've had furniture cleaned and even the seats of my vehicles. Also, if you are a regular customer, they don't mind you calling for advise once in a while to find out if you can take care of a particular emergency yourself.
Servicemaster is great for churches, retirement homes, schools, and homes for regular cleaning as well as that one time event after a party or wedding. Each time they've been, I've received a personalized thank you card valuing me as a customer. They also make it easy for me by keeping up with my twice a year appointments by calling me to let me know that it's time.
I mostly associate yelp reviews with restaurants is probably the reason I haven't thought of doing this sooner. I hope this review will serve as a sincere thanks from our family to yours.
