Important to understand they are not simply applying a shiny coat of wax. They actually rehone the tiles which take several passes with different grits. follow up with a sealer and polish to an almost original shine. I bought a large Karastan rug for the dining room at an estate sale and wanted to see the vibrant colors that may have been obscured by dirt, traffic and my Chartreux cat. I was very pleased with the honesty, the estimate, and the work done. The appointment process and explanation of their service was true and honest. The estimate is done by the square feet of the area to be scrubbed. The machine they use doesn't use much water and was dry 10 to 12 hours later, just like they said. I recently moved into a new house. The first thing out of the contractors mouth when the house transferred over to my name is to be sure and get your tile sealed. We don't do that! Everyone knows they can get their carpet cleaned, but did you also know you can get your tile floor cleaned? That's right, RotoClean also does tile floors, and they look amazing when done. Tile floors collect dirt two ways. The grout always collects dirt over time. Sealer is supposed to keep the dirt from getting caught in the grout and make it easier to get out, but most sealers slowly wear off over time. Also, if you have rough tiles dirt gets caught in nooks and crannies that a simple mopping won't get up. RotoClean's deep tile cleaning will get all the grime out of the grout lines and off the tile, and make it look like it was just put down. If your sealer is in good shape you can stop with just a cleaning, but if your floor is older (perhaps more than 10 years old) I suggest going with the level 2 option and having RotoClean re-seal your floor after cleaning it. This will make it much easier to clean in the future! But what if you want to splurge, or really hate your tile? RotoClean can also dye your grout lines any color you want. Hot pink grout, it can be done. Wanted beige rather than white, they can do it. Have some horrible grout color from the previous owner, change it to a neutral without the cost of replacing tile. Now, if you're used to carpet cleaning you'll find tile cleaning is significantly more expensive, but you'll see as it is done the reason is that there is significantly more labor involved. The good news is tile does not need to be (professionally) cleaned nearly as often as carpet. We just did our tile, and it looks brand new. We should have done it sooner! read more

They did a decent job cleaning the tiles in a used house I bought last year. They are good for floor tiles but they do not do bathroom wall tile (problematic if you have one of those all-tile showers) or tilework around a jacuzzi tub. Also, don't waste your money on coloring the grout between tiles. In our laundry (small space) the tech did a good job with coloring the grout. However, it was obvious that he didn't want to spend the time doing it in the master bath. I easily paid more for the coloring of grout than all the tile cleaning in the house combined. In the end, the grout coloring was extremely sloppy. read more

I'm sorry, but I was not impressed with the results. I just moved in (no pets), but the previous owner...oh my! the pet odors soaked to the slab, Eric should have just told me to rip it out from the start vice charging $500 to try and save. Bonus room upstairs was salvageable and the Roto cleaning seemed adequate, but I just got back from Walmart with a $90 Brissell and vacuumed for the first time and the waste canister was filled completely full with pet hair. I'm very impressed with the new vacuum cleaner. Maybe I'm just mis-understanding this service and what I paid for?. But, he also cleaned and sealed the tile grout which was inclusive of the amount charged and it does look good. read more

I hired Rotoclean to clean my grout. They did not show up on time for their first appointment. They said they would knock off a little due to being late, so I gave them another shot. After they cleaned, the grout was not as clean as I had hoped, but it was definitely cleaner than it was. However, they left a very noticeable band of dirt about 2 inches wide on the tile along the wall as well as created holes within the grout. I called, and they were very nice and offered to come make it right, so I agreed. When they came back, they did got the dirt from around the baseboards, and patched the holes they created within the grout. However, the patch was NOT EVEN CLOSE to the same color as my grout so it looks absolutely horrible. I called back again, and they agreed to come back and fix it. The follow-up appointment was about 2 weeks after the patch job. After staying home from work and waiting, I finally decided they were not coming. I called and texted, and got no response. Finally, I got a response saying they would not be able to make it due to personal reasons. He offered to reschedule, and when I offered a day for the follow-up, it took over 3 days to get a response. I decided that I no longer wanted to do business with them, and called my credit card company to request a refund. I will never deal with Rotoclean again, and warn anyone else in the market to have their grout cleaned to stay clear as well. read more

I had no comparison of carpet cleaning until now. I purchased a home last year with carpet. I had always had all hardwoods. So I had them cleaned and they looked fine to me. It was time to have them cleaned again and I saw an ad on petfinder and craigslist about ROTOCLEAN and contributions to rescue work.
