Ok! Wow i'm the first to leave a comment :) Flora is thee most beautiful cannabis dispensary I have ever experienced in Los Angeles. In all my years living in LA I've been to so many shops and they've had either a great selection of strains and carried great brands but the shop wasn't aesthetically matching the quality of product they carried or very over priced products and sometimes old flower in stock. The service I've gotten at most shops - went like this: I walk in and i'm expected to be super knowledgeable with the cannabis brands and products and I usually pace around for awhile without being approached. I say all that to say my experience at Flora has changed my entire view on shops in LA. Once you walk in it's like an upscale flower shop / clothing boutique. Like the Kith or Fred Segal of Cannabis. The brands they carry are so unique and quality of the flower was all fresh. The staff or should I say the Cannabis Florist were so warming and welcoming upon entering the store and took me through all the product and I was blown away by service. The florist / budtenders have so much personality it left that place anticipating to come back because every one so cool! When in WEHO come by FLORA on 3rd. They have excellent choices for flower hands down. Wizard trees,Preferred Gardens,Lumpys,and the list goes on. I mentioned those brands though because most of these are Sacramento based and hard to find down here. They even have good prices on them. Its not just about cheap flower its about quality experiences and value in the product. I can really say they had choices on all levels and all categories of consumption. I had an offputting experience in Flora today. Upon walking in, I was immediately barked at to check in with the security. Not even hello. I did and was asked what I was looking for. I said edibles and went towards the edible section. The guy who initially barked at me asked what I was looking for. I pointed out one and he hurried and grabbed it from the storage. I pointed out another and he reached and grabbed that one and walked away. I actually wanted more but he seemed preoccupied in the otherwise empty store. He rang me up and said $46 but when I scanned my card, I was charged $50 and given the difference in change. I didn't understand why I was getting change back when I debited but he said he rounded up because the machine was a cashless ATM. I don't know what the heck that is but besides that, if you're going to charge someone's card a different price than you are telling them out loud, you should explain the process before you charge them. When I asked for clarification he acted like I was imposing on him by making him explain again. He just repeated it was a cashless ATM and he rounded up. His coworker echoed the same. He handed me my change and didn't even bag my items. I thought bagless was standard but I saw others leaving a bit later with Flora bags. I did get in the car and compared prices to ERBA and Flora was cheaper for the same items, but I'd rather friendly customer service and transparent charging practices for a couple extra dollars. It is great to see this space filled with a business that truly has the potential to become a staple in the community. Their deals are hands down the best in the area with no competition. I can see this place becoming even more of a go to spot if they add a little extra fun to their events. Having a DJ and food trucks would set the vibe and bring people together. If they decorated the shop differently each month, it would make coming in even more exciting. If I can leave 0 stars I truly would, prior to going to this establishment remember this, truly was treated in disgraceful way and if you wanna be treated that way by all means. Floras security decided he had been sitting on something for quite to long and decided to threaten me and treat me with complete disrespect tonight. I've spent over $5,000 at this business in just the past 3-5 months alone, and this is the level of "service" I get? I arrived at 9:44 PM--well before your posted closing time--only to find the doors already locked. When I pointed out the time, I was met with blatant disregard and zero effort to assist me. Also asked for his name and he just cussed at me and said fucking leave I don't need to give you my name. So... I waited outside to speak with the manager, but she couldn't even be bothered to address the situation, clearly more interested in leaving early than helping a paying customer. Instead, your security guard came at me aggressively, trying to provoke a fight--pathetic behavior that I would never lower myself to match. The entire encounter was unprofessional, disrespectful, and flat-out unacceptable. If this is how you treat loyal customers, it's no wonder people stop coming back. read more
