I've gone through square nails, oval nails, coffin nails, almond nails with her. She never pushes anything on you and always has the integrity of your nails in mind. She is meticulous and artistic, and her shop is clean, cozy, and easy to find. I'm so proud of what she's accomplished! I started off with chewed off, uneven, thin nails but now I'm thriving. I am SO happy with Ivanka that I followed her as she opened up her own shop. The only reason my nails have broken is because I waited too long to see Ivanka and they needed to be restructured, but my nails LAST forever. I can push to go about six weeks between sets but don't be like me She's probably done more than a dozen sets for me and I wish i had taken pictures of all of them but she really can do almost everything-- from florals to abstract to geometric designs. I had a 9:30 AM appointment and was there for nearly 4 hours, only to leave unhappy with my nails. The biggest issue was communication. I showed the nail tech both a photo and a video of the design I wanted, but she barely looked at them and didn't communicate with me throughout the service. I clearly asked for a cat eye design only at the top of the nail, blended downward. Instead, she did a full cat eye on the entire nail. When I pointed it out, she rolled her eyes, seemed annoyed, and removed everything. She then tried to do a French tip version of cat eye, which still wasn't what I asked for. I tried to explain and show her the video and picture again, but she became visibly frustrated, made faces, called another tech over, and walked away without saying anything to me. The second tech was kind and did try to help but I had to wait over an hour to be helped by her. She checked in with me on each nail and asked if I liked it, and I did appreciate that. However l, I just wanted to show her the picture and for her to go based off of that, but it seemed that both of them didn't just want to look at it closely and then do my nails from that. At one point, I left the picture open and towards her so she can reference it, but she wouldn't look at it . Over all, because everything felt rushed, it also made the situation uncomfortable, like I was being overly critical or didn't know what I wanted, when I had already provided a clear reference. Despite her effort, the work still felt rushed. The final result was closer to what I had asked for, but the shaping was uneven and overall the work felt sloppy. There was also no proper cleanup under the Gel X nails, and I had to fix that myself at home. Overall, the lack of communication, dismissive attitude, and rushed work made this a really disappointing experience.

I've had these nails for 3 weeks and literally nothing has happened aside from grow out and needing to be refreshed! She's very sweet and subtly quiet but a hidden gem. Parking can be a bit of a hassle because she shares the space with a Hair Salon but there are tons of metered parking. I'd definitely recommend her. ALSO, YOU CAN TEXT HER FOR AN APPOINTMENT. Gel acrylics are around 55+. When I do regular acrylics with standard polish, I pay about 35. Pedicures are about 30.

Her tools were incredibly clean and she used a clean nail file for my hands and have it to me after our appointment was done. She gave me a custom nail color I really like by mixing several colors together and it couldn't have been better. I did hard gel on my nails with a Russian manicure and it was only $70 for everything which in my opinion is a very reasonable price. My nails were very weak from over drilling at other nail salons but they are starting to grow healthy thanks to the techniques Kesnia used. Will definitely come back to Kesnia!
