I am new to the area, I have been getting my nails done for years in my previous city...NEVER have I had a worse experience. Most unwelcoming staff and overly cluttered to the point it made me question how they could possibly really clean. But desperation made me stay. During my nail service the gentleman nicked 8 of 10 cuticles with zero apology for even the one that made me jump. When he asked if my nails were good and I responded with a question, "can you please fix this?" He literally rolled his eyes and sighed loudly. He did fix the nail that had no dip powder by the cuticle so that it looked grown out. No cuticle oil or lotion after the service. Buyer beware if you chose to use this salon. read more

This is The WORST.... nail shop in Inverness. I went to get a mani pedi. no one was in there. I had to wait 15 mins to be seated. one of the guys started my pedi ok. He asked if I wanted my nails cut down. i said yes. Just a little. The next thing I know I have NO AND I MEAN NO TOE NAILS!!! I asked me why he cut them so short and he said it will look really good. I knew right then i should've gotten up and left. but being nice I let him continue. To make a long story short; by the end of my service my toes where all cut up and short as ever. tried taking a clear picture but the camera wouldn't focus. i got my nails done exactly a week ago on november 25 it is currently december 2. the thin piece shown is the part of the acrylic that was on my cuticle. the guy that did my nails made the nail so thin so they did not last long at all. do not recommend going to kevin, the place may not be so bad but kevin sure isn't great. also said medium length and he did short, and did square when i said coffin. he also didn't cut my nails before gluing the nail tips on, and did not size them. he just put the glue on and picked a tip didn't see if it would fit or not. and half of them were glued angling up and all look bad. read more

My gel nails pealed and chipped after 2 days. I called and was told to come back so they could fix them. They charged me after fixing them. I explained that I was told they would be fixed at no charge. The technician stated I would need to pay and they pealed because my natural nails are "smooth." Huh? I've been a customer for years. My friend and I decided on a whim to get our nails done today, and we chose to go to Floral nails to try it out since it is close to home. I opted for a gel manicure, while my friend decided on a full set. We chose our colors and sat down with our nail techs. First, my friends request for a full set was completely ignored. He put acrylics on her thumbs only and did acrylic overlays on the rest of her nails. He completely butchered the shape of her nails as well. She told him she wanted them square, but smooth and rounded corners and instead, he rounded them completely, making her nails look clubbed. Very unprofessional the entire time and seemed more interested in the soccer game that was on TV than satisfying his customer. The paint job was horrible, too. Her nail tech abandoned her before he polished her nails, and the owner had to take over, so he could recline in a pedicure chair to watch the game. My friend was not given a complementary hand massage like every other place we've frequented. Her nails do not look professional in the slightest. Very disappointed. My gel manicure was mediocre at best. There are many missed spots on the sides of my nails. My tech was pleasant, but seemed very new and inexperienced. We will not be returning. read more

My request for warmer water was ignored and the tech frequently nicked my toes. The polish was old and had to be thinned. My tips look uneven and deformed. I go bi-weekly for mani/pedi and have been going for years Boy did I miss them during COVID shut down. Try different techs if you're not happy with the results. Jenny is awesome so is Lindsey and Julie. They are CDC compliant. Now you MUST wear a mask also. There is hand sanitizer everywhere. Was glad to see they asked a customer that didn't have a mask to put one on. She didn't have her own so they offered her one. Please bring your own and wear it! My girlfriend and I an appointment at 530pm, they didn't seat us in a chair until 6, and didn't start our nails until 630. They had one person available to do our nails. My nail tech simply didn't care about doing his job. It started when I asked for my nails to be filed rounded and he LAUGHED AT ME for my request. I mean I know I don't have long nails but let's be professional please. He didn't push back my cuticles properly (he barely touched my nail but did the motion so it looked like he did it). I also got a cuticle oil hand massage instead of lotion. I got a gel manicure and it hasn't even been 1 week and I have three nails that the gel peeled off of. Gel is guaranteed for 21 days! Needless to say, I will never go back there and wouldn't recommend them to anyone in the Inverness area, even in desperate times! They honestly deserve no stars. read more

My friend went here one day with an appointment and the owner took a walk in before he took her. The walk is was dressed in very little clothing and he was flirting with her the whole time he was doing her nails. When he was done with her and there were only older women or women dressed with more clothing he decided to take a break. My nail tech was another guy and I was sitting right behind the owner. I made an appointment for myself and my friend to get our nails done TOGETHER....I made this appointment 4 days ahead of time. We get there, they sit is next to one another but it took 47 minutes before they started on my friend yet they took three walk-ins...one of the people who took the walk-ins could have done my friends nails...but nope, even though I had asked more than once if one of them could take care of my friend who had an appointment. They are very unprofessional, they have little respect for their clients, a very bad attitude as well. This is not the first time I have had this problem...but I figured I would give them another chance....well today was the last straw. I do NOT recommend this place. Terrible customer service. My best friend came here to get her nails done shortly after an accident that put her in the ICU for a week, just wanting to get out of the house and have some "Me" time since she has been home and unable to work. She has a splint on her right hand from 2 broken bones, and 3 broken metacarpal bones. The man that did her full set completely butchered it, including pulling on her hands and arms for "not holding them the right way". There was multiple times he gave her a attitude even though she never once complained about him doing this. As he is doing her full set, she was almost in tears because of the way he was handling her. I will never ever be back to this place and neither will she, even though I have gone here for years.
