Decent coffee shop ;. Seemed like a double wide drive-thru. I got a pineapple coconut infused energy drink and was actually pretty good. The gal who helped me was nice and answered my questions. Well located and easy to get in n out of the small 'parking' lot. I believe it's just a drive up and my car seemed tiny for the window up high. Was visiting from out of town. Would love to try one of their famous huckleberry milkshakes. They have specialty drinks listed and they all sounded good. read more

I came nearly everyday I was in town for 8 days lol. I love the selection of flavors! And the sugar free white chocolate with gingerbread is WHAT'S UP! I normally get all things huckleberry when in Montana but liked the gingerbread so much, I got it every time. There was one gal I had twice that was efficient but not the most outwardly friendly. The huckleberry smoothies are amazing! I got one for myself and one for my partner, who loves berries. They aren't overly sweet, even with whipped cream, and my understanding is that they're made with real huckleberries. These were such a treat and we'll definitely be back to try some of the other offerings, which looked fun and creative. It's nice to be able to drive through and get a smoothie or some coffee! The option to get a smoothie seems to be one thing this drive-through coffee spot has that others don't. read more

The wait time in line is horrendous and the coffee drink received after a long wait is marginal.

We are from Billings and tried out the Florence coffee co. Because it had good ratings online. I got a ice white chocolate with three shots and it was amazing. My boys got smoothies they loved also. The only down side is the line was long and we had to wait awhile. read more

I've been going to Florence here and there for about a year. Mostly because of the convenience of their location. The coffee is just OK. The 2 memorable experiences I've had I will share. Both are negative. The latter of the 2 is why I won't be going back. First: my girlfriend had a gift card with about 8$ remaining. The drinks were exactly at $8.50. So I give the young lady the card, and an extra 5$ bill for the remaining 50 cents. However when she comes back she says that she only put one of the drinks on the gift card, and took the other out of the 5 I gave her. She stated that she did it like that "because it was easier to do the math that way". Really? why would anyone pay for one drink out of pocket when there's enough on the gift card to cover almost the entire amount? I was almost dumbfounded. So being the nice guy, I let her have her way and left. My gal and I surmise that she only rang up 1 coffee, put it on the card, and pocketed the cash. There's really no other explanation. The next negative experience (and the reason I will not be returning) went like this: I had a punch card. One of those "free coffee on the 11th punch" deals. I had 6 punches. When I handed the cashier my money and the punch card, I was told that they changed their system and no longer honor the old cards. And when I ask if my punches will be transferred, I'm told that they will not be. But, they'll give me a 50 cent discount. That's a terrible way to do business! With the coffee's averaging 4$ (and we always get something special) the punches are worth at least 40 cents EACH. I feel it's in extremely poor taste to not honor your own rewards program. Again, not returning. 1889 coffee makes a far better coffee anyway. Farewell Florence. read more

Terrible! Have often stopped here when in town. Never again. More than a 10 minute wait while the obviously overwhelmed barista left us in a dead line and waited on the "other window" decided not to wait any longer after seeing two cars "cut" the line. Florence is usually my go-to for coffee. I'm happy it has so many locations throughout Montana. Prices are very reasonable IMO. I usually get basic drip coffee or cold brew. The peanut butter smoothie used to be really good when made with real PB (but have switched to powder now I think and not as good). Baristas are always very friendly and fast. Some mornings there has been only one barista though, and things can get backed up. I appreciate the punch card and double stamp Tuesdays to earn a free drink! read more

The best coffee in Helena. The 16oz coffee comes with 3 shots of espresso, the 20oz comes with 4 and the 24oz comes with 5. Their coffee also tastes very high quality. They have Thursday specials on Facebook and daily specials listed at the coffee shack. I highly recommend this place to everyone. read more

Boiling hot latte. Burned espresso. I watched the coffee person actually steam someone elses drink then set it down and resteam the milk for mine. There was no fresh milk added. To top it all--not even a drop of foam. Bad on me for not just driving away or demanding another. read more
