He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, answers all of our questions and concerns, and discusses every treatment option so we can make informed decisions. Most importantly, I truly feel that Dr. Pepen genuinely cares about my pet's well-being. That level of compassion and dedication is hard to find, and it gives me complete confidence in trusting him with my pets' care. The weight at the other clinic was one hour. My cat had an abscess near her tail and was in a ton of pain. Dr. Smith glanced at the abscess for maybe two seconds and said the abscess had already started draining on its own so therefore it didn't need to be lanced nor cleaned. She did not bother to clean the wound or anything. She sent me home with pain meds and antibiotics. Well, the next day my cats wound was much worse than it was before I brought her in there and at that point, it really did start to drain. My poor baby was dripping disgusting foul smelling pus and blood all over my house and she could barely stand because she was in so much pain. I called the Emergency Vet on EAU GALLIE and they were more helpful than Aloha staff. They recommended cleaning the area. I cleaned the wound myself with a mix of saline solution and betadine, which the doctor at Aloha advised me not to do, and after that my cat was much more comfortable because her wound was actually flushed out. I am not a medical professional, but luckily a lot of people in my family are and they advised me to clean the wound unlike Aloha. I am a local and based upon friends and neighbors and family members that have gone there in the past four or five years, this place has massively gone downhill. They can't decide if they are an emergency vet or a regular vet and you really can't be both. Their veterinary care is subpar and there's no way I would ever take my animal here ever again. Once I brought my cat for stomach issues and they wanted to do a colonoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, and a biopsy all in the same visit. I went to the other Dr. Smith who is an internal medicine specialist at the Rockledge Emergency Vet and he said he would not do anything more than an ultrasound and food trials before he had more information. This hospital is so extra and they charge you for things you don't need and the vets don't have the knowledge that they should. It sucks because I adopted one of my cats from aloha and he's a great kitty, but I am not comfortable trusting them with my animals. Never again.

I know there are several folks involved with the business, but I've dealt mostly with Shawn and he has been exceedingly helpful and provided top-notch advice and suggestions while setting up my first mixed reef tank. They have a great selection of corals (and fish and other inverts) and their stock gets getting better and more diverse weekly. I especially like the fact that Shawn has extensive experience working at some really big name places over in Orlando and brings that experience to a more local setting that caters to folks just like me as well as other much more experienced reefers. have bought livestock from the big name places that all of us have heard of on the Internet in Orlando and I can say without pause that the corals and inverts Shawn has sold me were as good or even much better as far as quality, size, and cleanliness. The price was better in every case and many times the size of the frag might even be 2-3X larger... pretty easy decision to buy local from a dealer I trust where I not only get to pick the item out personally, but it's also not shipped to me so it doesn't get stressed during shipment.
