She is the sweetest woman and I truly appreciate all she has done to help me. If you do not rent from this company, I cannot express strongly enough to stay away and do not do business with them. From repetitive double charges with no return calls or emails for over 6 months, to disrespectful and unprofessional employees at the Tampa office, to smart home device fees at $30/month written into the lease that are mandatory (Mine has been unplugged and unused since move in yet I'm forced to pay $30/month for a convenience service we don't use). We had raw sewage coming up from our shower and tub and they told me they couldn't get someone out for almost 10 days to repair. We received a notice from our HOA communicating some things that needed to be corrected. We corrected them immediately and then months later received multiple HOA violation fees from Invitation Homes. When I inquired about the fees since we had corrected the issues immediately I was told we were fined for being notified (even though our HOA did not fine Invitation Homes). We've had multiple other negative interactions with this corporation and strongly recommend utilizing another rental company. Very shady business and clearly a mega corporation who has zero interest in providing professional and appropriate service.

More concerning is the complete lack of response--emails and follow-ups have gone unanswered for months. This isn't a complicated situation. Under fair housing laws, assistance animals are not considered pets, and tenants should not be charged pet-related fees. I've made every effort to handle this properly and professionally, but the lack of communication has been extremely frustrating. At this point, I'm just asking for a response and for the issue to be handled in accordance with the law. Would appreciate someone from Invitation Homes actually reviewing this and responding.
