He immediately responded that we needed to call Lynda Danna at 1st Residential Funding. He advised everyone who went through her had great things to say. This was our first time buying a house and we had no idea what we were doing. Vance and Lynda walked us through all the steps, answered our questions, and reassured us that we WERE going to get our house. They were available at almost any time, day or night. I received supportive emails, calls to update me on the process, and words of encouragement. When friends and family asked how the home-buying process was going, I would respond, "fine, it's been so easy"...and then they would remind me that buying a house is not an easy process, so I must certainly be doing something wrong. Well, I wasn't. I closed on my house in less than 30 days after signing the contract. Vance actually moved up the closing date two days EARLIER! It was truly the easiest process and I was amazed it all came together so nicely. Vance and Lynda were so accurate with their calculations that I only had to bring $44 to closing, and the loan they found for me ended up being less than what we were paying each month in rent. There were no surprises at closing, it was a simple signing of papers and I was on my way.
