Apparently, loyalty only goes one way! When my tile person got to putting up the backsplash, we realized that the staff had given me sanded grout, but I really needed unsanded grout. I did not know to ask and they didn't ask me what my tiler wanted. Note that the backsplash I picked was sold in blocks, so the grout line width was defined by what I bought. Shame on me! I asked the staff if they would take it back, which I knew was not their written policy, but I hoped they would work with me in the same spirit I worked with them. Very definitely they would not. Be very careful working with these folks unless you are an expert.

Realized the first day something was off when he had trouble using multiple glue down products he couldn't get right so he decided to nail. Ended up not nailing properly, or not even at all in some areas, since we have boards shifting and leaving huge gaps. His recommendation was us paying for his mistake by going over 2000 sqft with wood filler putty. He constantly made promises he never kept, had horrible communication, rushed his work which left damage and improper installation, and constantly demanded more money despite not finishing the work. Even the work on my stairs were so badly done despite him telling me it was the easiest way for him. The floors were never properly leveled by him before install despite him assuring me it would be fine. It wasn't and feels awful to walk on when you can notice this huge bumps and dips. Baseboards now need extra work to fit flush with such huge gaps. Him and his crew never cleaned up either. In fact, they even left their cigarettes and trash in our yard for us to clean. Very unprofessional. Cruickson even had the audacity to threaten to not finish work I had already paid him for if I didn't pay his gas and other projects he hadn't finished. He constantly reminded us how poor he was to try to prey on our sympathy. Don't do business with this dishonest crook. Stay far far away.
