Although I didn't host this event, I wanted to leave a review because the facility and staff were amazing. I attended my niece's first-year anniversary celebration, a stunning masquerade, and Floridian Ballrooms in West Pembroke Pines was the perfect backdrop for such a memorable night. The venue is clean, well maintained, and beautifully kept, with plenty of parking and an easy, comfortable flow throughout. Restrooms were easily accessible, and the staircases made for great photo opportunities. Even though the event was held on the second floor, accessibility was effortless thanks to a convenient elevator, making it easy for elderly family members and guests with disabilities to fully enjoy the celebration. Elegant, accommodating, and thoughtfully designed, Floridian Ballrooms truly helped make the night special. From the first moment we visited Floridian Ballrooms we immediately knew this was the right venue. We hosted our daughter's Quinceañera on September 1st, and it was the absolute most perfect evening. Working with Ceci throughout the whole process was more than a pleasure. She was always there to answer my one million questions and requests. When she wasn't available, Leti would step in with the same amount of grace and due diligence. Quite frankly with all of this being over I have to say that I miss them! The day of the event everything went so smoothly. Nestor, the event manager, made us feel we were the VIP's of the whole world. The vendors they use are also amazing. Hector Gomez the photographer did an amazing job, from the pre-shoot to the day of. Frank the MC was great, and our DJ Brianna was the sweetest and on top of her game, you would be so lucky to get her as the DJ. The photo booth was also very professional and called me ahead of time to find out our theme (Broadway) so that they could apply a background to the prints accordingly. When I tell you everything went without a single hiccup which is normal at any event, yet it didn't at all. I can't imagine ever inquiring about any other venue for any other event we may have in the future. Floridian Ballrooms will always be our choice moving forward! read more

Floridian Ballroom refused to refund my money for my daughter's 15's party. The party was canceled due to Covid-19 pandemic. The manager was very rude and in my opinion, he does not care about his clients only money. I will never recommend anyone to this hall. We just had our wedding here. I want to especially thank Monica & Lettys for walking us through the planning process & taking care of all the details leading up to our big day. It all begin with a tour at the venue , & I knew after seeing it in person & seeing how beautiful it was, that we wanted this to be our wedding venue. We are very happy with the aesthetics of the ballroom, location, service. Everything was so beautiful and exactly what we asked for in terms of colors, layout, & we were also able to have a beautiful traditional Chinese tea ceremony that they decorated nicely. Our MC Yerika was amazing who is experienced and made sure we were on time with dinner, speeches, etc. I am overall pleased with the entire process.. beginning, middle, and end. & Our guests who flew in from all over the country had a lovely time as well. Our photographer Hector & his team was also amazing and he was great at directing guests on how to pose and where to stand. All the staff and vendors were very pleasant. & Florist did a beautiful & detailed job in floral arrangement at entrance & table centerpieces. Decorations were nice. Bartender was douchey to say the least. Bottles of Captain Morgan had been refilled with a cheap knock-off swill. When asked about it, FauxHawk copped a wicked attitude. Apparently there is also a "no bottle" policy, which is strange, as my bottle of beer was generously poured into a 10oz glass. The remaining 2oz went down the drain. If you choose this place, do some quality control to keep the bartenders honest. They're refilling the liquor and scamming the customers. Obviously, myself and our party are experienced drunks, otherwise this prob wouldn't be an issue. read more

They stole my $500 deposit with no regret or conisderation one day after we signed. I will never forget how poorly we were treated.

I made an appointment to come in and view their venue for my wedding through their portal at noon. When I showed up the office area was packed and no one greeted us! We waited 20 minutes for someone to come out and when they did I advised I had an appointment. The woman stated "You don't need one". When I reiterated my appointment time she walked away and never came back. On top of this the customer who came out stated that they never answer their phones when you need them, so if you need something you have to come in and wait hours to be seen. Needless to say I walked out. If this was my first impression I can only imagine how horrible everything g else would go. read more

We were invited to a family reunion at the Floridian and I am impressed at the facility and services rendered. Very Professional indeed!

I'll start with the positives: the facilities (wedding chapel and banquet hall) are very nice and well decorated. The D.J. was good. The person in charge was nice and accommodating. So much was left wanting. While the person in charge was nice, she really didn't know what to do when it came to being the wedding director which is kind of important since that's what we were there for. They had no opportunity the previous evening for rehearsal which could have helped to avoid a lot of issues. They told us that nobody does rehearsals anymore (which is bull). The photographer didn't even start the pictures until the wedding was supposed to start which delayed the wedding for thirty minutes while the guests waited. The hors d'oeuvres were actually pretty good (should have listed this earlier). The meal itself was horrendous. The mashed potatoes bordered on school food. The mixed vegetables were pickled. Who serves pickled vegetables at a banquet? Oh, I know. I was glad I wasn't wearing dentures. I could never have chewed the roast beef. We had to wait so long for the meal that everyone ate whatever they gave us. The "floor show" in the premium package consisted of four people running in, prancing around with some kind of sparkler on a plate and then running out. It left us scratching our heads and laughing. We were wondering what just happened. All in all, it was a very memorable night. The couple is just as married and have something to look back on and laugh. That's why I could only give one star. read more

I had a great experience at Floridian Ballrooms from beginning to end. My wedding was on Sunday, July 10th. I dealt with Janneli mostly, and she was amazing. I actually booked there cause she made me feel at ease with the experience. The times when Janneli wasn't available, Ceci was there to answer all my questions and help. She was great too! The day of coordinator was Yamilet - she helped to make sure the day went perfect. All the staff was perfect. There's not a single thing I can complain about. We had our wedding reception there in September after having my partner's 50th 2 yrs ago. Although the place was beautifully decorated, they were short staffed and many of our guests complained that they were not serving food. It was a cocktail party style and our guests left hungry. There were two other events going on that same night, which probably affected our service. Having been super happy at the first event and very disappointed after the second, I would never have another event there. We had recommended two people (prior to our last event) who booked and have been invited to their functions...I truly hope they meet or exceed their expectations! read more

At frist glance of the Floridian Ballroom, ,I thought to my self (there was no way I would be able to afford such an elegant place such as this one ) but we just had to see ,and enjoy its beauty ,even if it was for a minute or two .ok mabe for 10 minuts but whos countting LOL ...We met with a wedding planner by the name Yanely.who latter became our wedding planner , friend, now friend of the family, as she is an amazing soul .. and let me tell you a major asset to this company! unfortunetly for her ,we came in late to almost closing time, but this did not matter to her, she took her time with a pleasent atitude the whole time, explaining to now my husband ,and my self all the options we had ,never trying to sale us something, making it comfortable for us to choose if we could afford it or not, and what we needed. I could not sit here ,and say how many times i,and my husband called ,as they were many, with questions or concerns ,but all of our needs were met as well as all of our questions and concerns,even with the last minute changes. She made it happen. The Day of the wedding while all were inside watting for me to show up an hour and 1/2 latter ,I was met at the front of the venue while opening my car door by Yami,this angel was getting rained on holdung an umbrelle to make sure I did not get wet, Please note i never meet this person, yet she would talk to me as if she knew me for ever. WOW what an impact this was for me as I could not breath because of my nerves,and some how she was able to calm me down. What an incredible person . Im sorry i cait remember her assistance name but, right before i had to walk down the isle she ran to a family member of mine got the key to the car ran and got my eyeglasse and handed them to my maid of honor just in time.Now that is what i call team work and going above and beyond. Was invited to my friends wedding the Decor is beautiful however the service is terrible. First of all we were seated 12 to a table and they serve one guess out of the remaining 12. Never came back to check to see if any of us had eaten. Then i told the waitress she said i know and came back with a chicken breast plate once again for only one other person at the table. We had the top package with Floridian. The banquet hall & decorations were beautiful. However, the service was horrible & they completely messed up our food choices. We worked with them to plan our wedding for over 10 months & they completely ignored our requests for our dinner choices. There were many points throughout the night that our guests had no water, & there were no waiters or waitresses attending to our guests. The bathrooms were being renovated & didn't even have a mirror or soap dispenser. I can't express how disappointed we were. We thought we had established a relationship with them... I have no words to express how thrilled we were with our daughter's quince party at Floridian this past Friday. The entire evening was spectacular from the food, to the music and to the service! The experience started off great with Janelly available to assist with all the important details. The price was amazing, considering how beautiful the ballroom is. The staff on the night of the event, especially with manager, Yamilet was top notch. Everyone was on the ball, professional, polite and going overboard to see that everything was taken care of. Emilia was amazing, helping us with the decor and ensuring the ballroom was clean and set up just as we wanted. The food was hot and delicious. I recommend the teriyaki chicken! I will be using Floridian for all of my future events and highly recommend this venue to all!! They have large and small rooms to fit everyone's needs and budgets! Our Wedding Date; August 13, 2016 This ballroom is a beautiful venue for weddings and other events. My husband and I were pleased with the decor and the setup on our wedding day. The team from the office did an amazing job (along with my wedding planner and her assistant). During the process/preparation, we encountered some issues. After multiple food tastings, I was not satisfied with the outcomes. I started to stress out because I was under the impression that I could not get outside catering. After speaking with the manager and expressing our dissatisfaction with the catering we were told we can get outside catering. Although I was happy with getting the outside catering, I was a bit annoyed because by the second or third food tasting, it should have been mentioned what our alternatives were. Also, the day of the wedding, our family and friends complained about the services from the servers. Due to the language barrier, it was difficult for our family to communicate their needs when the servers did not understand what they were asking - Also, the servers were given instructions on where to start passing out food and did not follow these instructions (for example, they were suppose to start on table 3 first, instead they started on table 22). - The servers were serving some tables twice which should not have been the case, for instance if guests communicated that they did not want rice the servers would go back and request a plate with no rice and serve an additional plate to that guest leaving the previously served plate at the center of the table untouched. This may be the biggest reason food started running low. I did use the other room for my ceremony service which was beautiful. The reception decor was gorgeous, however there some lighting missed but the way it was setup no one would have known. There has to be better communication and an improvement in customer service from the servers. read more

The staff was awesome and they pay attention to detail and your needs..Also it wasn't too expensive like the banquet halls..What made it a big plus for us, we were able to bring in some of our own traditional dish...All my family and friends loved it...I would recommend this place to anyone because they make your event memorable. read more

Floridian Ballroom is an excellent place to have an event. Our event was a retirement party on July 31st. The staff was very professional and ensured that our experience was a smooth transition. Janneli was always available to answer any questions and to solve any problems we had. The day of our event Yamilet was there at our beckon call. She never made us feel as if we were a bother. I planned the event with a year of advance for my daughter quinceanera that was on 12/05/15, there was not one day a went to this place that I was treated by cesy and yanelys with love and professionalism, I could't pick a better place for my event all the staff are highly professionals from the Master of Ceremony to the waiters, the place is beautiful but if there is not professional people that runs it forget it !!! the food was delicious same taste that when I went to chose it, they promise open bar imported and exported drinks and it was amazing, the subcontractors that they hire to take care of your details ( flowers, cake, pictures, Dj,videos, stages, the limousine etc... ) are the BEST!!, on the day of the event when I enter to the salon it literally took my breath away and make me cry it was stoning I could't be with my daughter behind the stage because I was receiving my guest and cesy and yanelys stayed with her giving her love and confidence until the event start because she was stremly nervous and I didn't even ask for that!!, they took care for every single detail the manager of the salon on the day of the event runs my party and it was like she was reading my mind I was so lost that night jajajaja, they are the best I will miss them because once you know them you learn to love them, I totally recommend this place for any event....
