The food was delicious and plentiful and everyone was pleased, and you know it's not easy to please teenagers. LOL Your bartender, who always had a smile on his face, made an array of colorful and fruity drinks for the kids, all non-alcoholic of course, which they loved as it made them feel grown up. The DJ called me in advance to choose music and he "rocked it". I heard from the kids, so many times, that they had more fun, the music was way better and the food was tastier at the banquet than at their Prom. What a compliment that is! I hosted my sister's Alice In Wonderland themed baby shower at Tony's. After visiting multiple locations Yina sealed the deal, she knew exactly what we wanted and showed us Tony's team could deliver. This place is located on the second floor of a mid sized strip mall. They have two main rooms, a small one for a smaller group, and the larger room for bigger groups. They have parking on the first floors and a lot more on the second floor. The ballroom was nicely decorated, especially the draping on the ceiling. They had a bar, photo booth, and catering. The dj was good, he played a good mix of songs. The bathroom was very clean and so was the venue it's self. My husband and I celebrated our wedding on April 2, 2022. It was a great experience. The Hall was very well decorated and color coordinated to our needs so it would match in every way from the table cloths, napkins and the central decorative setting on the center of each table.. From the entrance to the way the table were distributed created a well balance area which created a positive flow from the entrance all the way to the main staging area. The waiters that attended our guests were very polite, attentive to our needs and requests and always checking if there was anything else that they could do to make the event memorable. Overall the Hall was very clean and attention to details was evident. At any moment before the event the staff listen and followed through any last minute changes. So, I had read reviews of Tony's, and they tend to be mixed. Allow me to be as thorough and objective in my review. To be honest, there's nothing that I can criticize Tony's for. The only issues that I had were with contracted people through the hall. I had to replace the DJ and officiant, both of which Tony's did for me and within a day of needing the replacements, so they more than fulfilled their end. As for the actual process: I called them roughly 5 times throughout the planning process, and always spoke with Gina. Gina is helpful, courteous, and patient. She always answered my questions, and gave me anything I wanted. The hall is gorgeous, especially for the money I spent. I called 20 halls in Miami, narrowed it down to 5 within my budget that met my specifications, and this place is far and away the best bang for your buck. Believe me, I researched painstakingly. I didn't see anything until I walked down the aisle (I'm the bride). Everything was so much more beautiful than I even had imagined. We booked the smallest hall on a Sunday, and I wasn't sure how far they would go for us considering our budget. They went so far and above our expectations, everyone. The food was great, the decorations were super on point, the DJ was always spinning, the bar was open the entire time, the MC and officiant were excellent and professional, and it was easily the best and most beautiful day of my life. I really want to impress upon you all how great this place is, especially if you want the best quality for the price. I should add that we went outside for photos and the sweets, because we had our own preferences, so I can't speak for those aspects. Everything within Tony's power was done exactly as we wanted, with the exception of white chair covers instead of black (which I think they did on purpose, because to be honest it looked a lot better when I saw it overall, so I'm actually grateful). In the end all that matters is that your wedding (reception) was perfect and memorable. There are mixed reviews but I will tell you about our experience. After looking for several banquet halls we were referred to Tonys reception hall...we met with Gina and she was very pleasant and helpful. We decided to have our wedding reception there based on how gorgeous the hall rooms are. They have three separate rooms...we were given the smallest based on our number of guest. The room was a perfect size for us 75 person....We set up our contract with gina more than a year in advance...Throughout the process Gina was very helpful....to be honest she can come off as rude sometimes...but trust me she means well....it's like she has a vision based on what you tell her and she works with that...at times you feel left out...but again she means well. The closer it got to our big day the more nervous we became... Unfortunately the big downfall of this place is that you don't meet your master of ceremony and DJ the week of the wedding. This was horrible for us, but fortunately our master of ceremony CLARA was the BEST...she spoke to us and the DJ and took it upon herself to make our reception PERFECT. The day of our reception we were skeptical about the decor, but I must say Tonys staff made it look stunning...beautiful...I could not have pictured it better. I booked a party for my daughters Sweet 16 at this venue, I wrote them a check in November of 2017 as part of a payment plan. They removed the amount of the check from my balance due. 30 days before the party I was given my remaining balance which I paid in full. January 14th 2019 they cashed that check from November 2017...When I called they were hesitate to give me any information after demanding someone speak to me they explained they never deposited that check. My complaint is as a business they should have given me a courtesy call to let me know what the issue was and error on their part. My account was overdrawn due to their mistake and lack of courtesy. If I would have been made aware I could have transferred money into this account to cover a check I thought cleared back then. A terrible way to treat a customer that paid $7,000 for a party... Also the day of the party the food was nothing like the food tasting & a guest cell phone was stolen from the table. There was only close family at the party and I'm 100% sure it was a staff member. You can spend your hard earned money elsewhere for sure!! read more

I had my wedding reception here. And I absolutely loved everything, the decor was beautiful. At the end of the day they really pulled through and it was even more amazing than expected. However the wedding planning process was super difficult. Starting off with the initial day I went to see the venue. The owner Enrique was super pushy for us to book it. I thought the hall was absolutely gorgeous but I was still iffy about having my guests drive up to a shopping center. The Owner told us he would decorate the exterior of the hall with a red carpet so it wouldn't be just like walking through a shopping center. Guests could drive up the ramp and be greeted with a red carpet......didn't happen. And when I asked about it they were like "no we don't do that". Gina was a pain to deal with. She kept saying that I was complicated. She Hardly refused to help, she argues with everything you say. She even refused to tell me exactly what the decor was gonna look like. The staff has to be inspired that day so that when I walk in I can be "wowed". I don't want to be surprised. I want to know exactly what the place is gonna look like!! We always made our payments with Amex....Exept when Gina was around cause when Gina was there "they don't take amex" Getting in contact with my DJ was a pain. A month before my wedding they still had no DJ for me. I kept saying that I needed to speak with him ahead of time because i had certain song mixes that I needed done. The DJ contacted me 5 days before my wedding and tells me he has no time to get the mixes done. After arguing with him and getting him to agree to doing it, he of course, messes them up the day of the wedding. Don't get me wrong the actual dance music was amazing and the whole party was the most fun I've ever seen. And I'm not just saying that bcause it was my wedding. Oh and then halfway through them Serving my over 200 guests they ran out of food and had to borrow some from another party next door. My party was absolutely amazing and I wouldn't have changed the actual party but my planning process with the staff was tough and it had me worried the whole time. I loved my wedding reception at Tony's. It was beautiful and everything went smoothly. My guests and of course us, bride and groom had an unforgettable time. Staff made sure that everything went as planned. My guests all had beautiful things to say about the great time they had. The decoration was beautiful! I can't find anything negative to say. We were really stressed out, and thank God and the employees at Tony's that we stressed for nothing, because I had the wedding of my dreams. The waiters put on quite a show when the food was ready. They had a super cute short dance choreography and that just added more fun to the night. It was a beautiful and fun wedding, and that is exactly what I was aiming for. Im in the military and my wife and I were planning on doing our wedding in this place. We requested a quote and came to an agreement because they seemed professional and very organized, we gave a deposit and agreed to make monthly installments to pay the rest. We were ready to move forward and covid-19 hit us hard, I received military orders and my wife lost her job. Im currently getting ready to go overseas with my unit and contacted Tony's reception palace to see how they would help out with our current situation in getting our money back to get back on track and after several attempts and waiting, They finally agreed to partially give some of the money back, after disputing that we gave them more money, dealing with a manager named "Damain" very rude and unprofessional screamed at my wife and said that he will only give back 350 dollars and If she wanted she can stop by to get her check but nothing more. In reality it was 1,050 dollars we had to get back,apart from the 1,000 dollars of the deposit that they said they will not return regardless of our situation . Luckily we kept a copy of every receipt and forward it to one of the other managers named "marina" and stated that they would keep the entire deposit because thats their policy and they cant do anything about that but finally agreed to refund us 1,050 dollars. Both parties came to an agreement and signed a contract stating we have agreed to only receive back the installments made but not the deposit every 25th day of each month. It is now february 11, 2021 and I decided to call. Damian, one of the managers said very rudely that they have mailed the check and If the check never gets to us then too bad!, that theres nothing they can or would do to help us and hung up the phone. It is very stressful to deal with this type of situation specially when is your dealing to get back your own hard worked money and is now forced to do business with them because they said that the only way of getting our deposit back is to do business with them and If not too bad. Tonys reception palace doesnt care about our service members and families, you will just get told "well too bad!" And hung up on you. Wont recommend this place to anyone of my brothers and family members. If a life situation happens they will use that to their advantage of that and laugh in your face. read more

Was here for a wedding on Saturday. I had to go to the office to find out which hall it was. Be nice if they had a sign or something. We all had to wait for the doors to open which sucks with this heat. When we went in its your typical hall. I saw in many areas where it needs some kind of maintenance to me it was dated especially the tiles on the dance floor. I never went to the bar but my husband told me it was old and had lots of scuff marks and broken areas again maintenance needed. The bathroom is outdated too It feels like your grandmas place lol. The servers were polite. The food OH BOY! They served small appetizers first then salad then dinner and last the bread which was weird. They served Chicken Gordon bleu wrapped with bacon. The bacon wasn't cooked at all ( RAW ) the chicken it self had a thin ham and a quarter size american cheese in it. It was not appetizing to say the least. My husband spent the night going to the bathroom. I didnt touch it and I defenately didnt let my daughter eat it not after seeing that her bacon was raw too. They really need to pay attention on how they cook there food especially chicken hopefully no-one else got sick. read more

We had the Horeb Christian School Homecoming Masquerade Ball at Tony's. The hall was decorated beautifully. We opted for a buffet style menu with foods kids would like. It was an absolute hit. The students danced from start to finish. The servers were beyond attentive to our needs. They went as far as to individually find the chaperones and make sure they had eaten. They supplied a significant amount of appetizers. The lighting and decor were great. When we arrived prior to the event we were pleasantly surprised as every detail was addressed. The service and venue were far greater than my expectations. I booked all of our 2019 school events at Tony's following this event. Event date 06/24/17. The venue was outstanding and was decorated exquisitely! No problems regarding that! The issues resulted from all inclusive "associative" services provided by Tony's. The bartender was literally making suggestions for and holding out her hand for tips. The groom had to remind her of her purpose! The limo driver was even worse. While waiting for the signal to exit the vehicle, the wedding party (the bridesmaids in particular, as the bride was not to be seen of course) extricated themselves, because it was hotter inside of the limo, than outside, in the 90 degree heat, and, they were sweating, which is unacceptable. The driver had the vent on as opposed to the a/c. When confronted, he wanted the argue and tell those who inquired (several of us), that "you don't know how the engine of limos works" and repeated several times that "I really don't care what you think". He should care, because customers like myself ALWAYS takes to social media to share my experiences for others to read! Not only that, it's an affront on anyone with a kindergarten education to LIE by stating that while limos are idling, that cold air does not circulate. Everyone (which includes myself) who had EVER ridden in a limo, KNOWS this to be factually incorrect... A LIE! He was being cheap, chinchy, and was skimping on providing comfortable services to clients in an effort to save on the cost of gas! He was very rude, unprofessional, and argumentative! If SUV's AND tractor trailers can idle allllllllllll night with the a/c on enabling drivers to sleep in them comfortably, it is absoluty NON-SENSIBLE that limos cannot. Again, the limo driver's commentary and behavior was stupid and insulting! Tony's needs to reign in their rogue employees/contractors, who will continue to earn your business negative reviews in my opinion! Since when does an employer grant paid employees such liberties? Those who do receive reviews such as this! Don't get mad at negative reviews, get mad at the ones who sparked them! After posting this same review to their Facebook page, someone responded and only wanted to accentuate their self proclaimed 95% satisfaction rate, without even acknowledging or addressing those who expressed negative reviews. They even went so far as to attempt to tell me that corresponding back and forth with them on their Facebook page wasn't the "appropriate" forum, to which they were promptly corrected by myself! I was blocked from the page immediately after that, thereby erasing/eliminating a negative review and subsequent exchanges between Tony's FB administrator and myself! The number of stars was adjusted downward as a result of what is clearly an issue with lackluster customer service from the hired help! Thankfully, Tony's Reception Palace can't stifle free speech on my own Facebook page, Yelp, Twitter, or Google. read more

I just had my Daughters Quince on Memorial Weekend her theme was Cinderella with the Carriage and let me start of by saying that it was like a fairytale dream come true!!!!! Everything was soo Beautiful! !It was what she wanted and more! I want to give thanks to Gina and Patricia who were not only accommodating but were so sweet and kind and just made this whole experience easier. I was referred to Tony's Reception Palace to host my wedding on February 27,2016. This was the best decision that we made!!! The place is clean and the staff was extremely helpful. I had the privileged to work along side Gina, she made sure we stayed within our budget with the vision that I had for my wedding.Gina made sure I was comfortable with all the decision that was made and the decor was up to standard. The best Reception Hall in Miami!!!! We recently celebrated my Dad's 82nd birthday, and thanks to all the team at Tony's the party came to be the best!! Gina worked with us on the theme we wanted, the decoration came out great, the food, the waiters, the service, the price, Otto, the DJ was super and worked with us with the music that my Dad likes, Mrs. Teresa was always on top of everything making sure that we were pleased. All the guests felt great, had fun and had a lot of good things to say about the party. this is an A1A place to do any type of celebration and I can not stop thanking them for the great party we had. Each time they were always nice answered every question made sure I understood everything. Gina in the front room really cares about your special day. Stay away from this place !!! I did my wedding shower and wedding at Tony's reception palace in May of 2009, it is true that at the beginning they are super helpful but quickly turns for the worst. It is 2016 and I have yet to receive my wedding video. They lost due to neglect and had the nerves to make me go several times to their office and they would tell me that it wasn't ready. I started to feel like something was going on so when I called it I made it clear that I knew something was wrong they had the nerve to give me a video inscribed with our names and wedding date and upon gathering the family to view the video, I pop it in the DVD player and behold it was of some girls fifteens. After spending all my hard earned money I have yet to receive an apology, money reimbursement or at least an attempt to make things right. I am currently looking for a hall to host my second baby shower and am cautious as they own several banquet halls and am terrified they would do something like this to me again. read more

Among all of the other banquet halls we searched for to have our wedding in, Tony's made it seem like this would be the best place to have our event and anywhere else would be a mistake. he told us about how his sons owned other halls we were looking at and would talk down on their business and say his was the best out of them all.. "there is nothing like tonys" was their catch phrase. when unfortunate events occurred and we had decided to cancel the whole reception, we were told that there will be no refund and that we would just give away our contract to someone else. ummm, why would we give our contact and our money to someone else ??? when we felt like in order to save our money put in and try to at least make a smaller party, they said they wont reduce the price because they "dont do discounts" they were just full of lies from the beginning. the owner reeled us in by saying he will discount this and give us that, but then when it comes to another situation , he now doesnt do "discounts" which isnt even a discount that we asked for. we just wanted to make our party smaller than what we originially had so that our total would be reduced, being that it will be a smaller party. Its as if their attitude towards you completely changes once you give them a deposit and they stop acting like they care about you and your day. read more
