Cups and buckets were helping the situation but it was clearly a losing battle. Calling Alan's office, they recognized the urgency of the situation and soon sent Derrick over to examine the problem. The leak was getting worse and Derrick shut down the water heater and took the pressure off it. The following day Eli showed up with a new water heater, removed the old one and installed the new one, and by late afternoon he and Alan had the new one working perfectly. They cost a bit more than some of the other contractors (such as the one whose business name is his first name, which is also the name of a country, and who I would NOT recommend because of shady billing practices and overall rudeness with customers). The bad news keeps coming…read more Two years ago I fired these guys after my bathtub fixture started geysering on a Friday night all over the ceiling and spraying in my bedroom. Fortunately I was near by and the floor damage in my bedroom was minimal but the bathroom ceiling and lights needed replacement. They refused to come over despite offering 24 hour service. So I had to race through the house to turn off the water to the house and live without water until they decided to show up. They tried to blame the contractor but finally had to own it was their mistake. They did repair it. Two years later I went to install the second dehumidifier they had sold me only to discover it was defective and now out of warranty, after 4 attempts it get it working by our current plumber. You now know the potential consequences of using them: 24 hour service is meaningless; they try to blame others for shoddy work; and the products they sell may be defective. We get to pay for getting their mistakes fixed.
