We have loved every teacher he has had and we LOVE Aubrey (Manager). He has grown to feel comfortable with multiple staff members and he truly enjoys class every time we come. I won't say that there are days where he wants more sleep, is having a teething day or regression, but out of the hundreds of classes we have come to, he maybe has had a handful only of "bad days". The teachers always accommodated to his attitude days and we managed each time! It's great to know that you're not alone in having a wild child or rough days. Moms and dads alike always welcome you and just joke about the terrible days. It's just an inviting place as a whole! Autumn, Emmaline, Eliana, and Caitlyn have all been just delightful. We have had Caitlyn through his first year and now we have her for his level 2/ first independent swimming class series and he LOVES her. She is honestly one of my favorite people ever. She makes swimming and learning fun for them, she explains what they need to work on, and allows your child to work for themselves as well so you know the classes are working! Aubrey has always been caring and hands on. She is always watching and is just the sweetest person ever!

I love the waiting area that allows me to keep an eye on my girls during lessons. There's also a safety button to make use kids are on the right side of the door. The instructors work very well with the students. My 3 yo has some anxiety around water. Instructors are able to give her extra attention to help her become more comfortable with the water. You can also tell that everyone has a lot of experience working with very young children. They take pride in what they do.

While my background is admittedly very limited in this subject matter, I would be more inclined towards the Creative Curriculum (like our daughter's previous school) or HighScope. I also provided a critical review on another forum, and I was met with retaliation from the owner, demanding over a phone call to me that the post be removed. I was simply sharing my expectations, and how the academic standards fell far short of how our children were developing. The owner proceeded to publicly divulge private, personal matters in his response, and even sided with and made concerted efforts with the mother in an effort to diminish me, and dismissing my valid concerns. We had an in-person appointment on Friday at the school to discuss further, which I have now cancelled, because of this public demonstration of retribution from the owner himself. Is this the kind of place you want to entrust your child's development? The unprofessional manner in which the owner, the director, and the teachers all combined their efforts in order to denigrate me, especially on a public forum, is very concerning: a company was unable to handle criticism, and in turn, publicly shamed me as a parent.

It does however take longer than I think it should for them to become strong swimmers. But that's not my issue. The unprofessional manager named Melissa is. Over the years I have politely avoided her whenever possible. I even know of 2 different families that quit this place because of her ridiculous behavior. Just as my little one was finishing up the last of her lessons she had to exit the pool due to an accident by another child in the water. Gross but understandable. What is not understandable is what happened after. My daughter was having a private lesson that I had cashed in 4 of her already paid for makeup lessons. She got about 6 mins of the 1/2 hr lesson. I asked that they re-issue these makeups (since this wasn't our fault). I'm told that's not their policy. Then ok but I would then have to pay the new monthly fee for using my makeups since her enrollment was expiring and we were going to be traveling. You closed the pool during her lesson. Im not saying it's your fault, but it certainly isn't mine. I those were 4 paid for lessons. Swim isn't cheap. I have given this company thousandths of dollars over the years. Why would you make such a big deal out of this? The girls at the front desk and the asst manager all understood my point of view and were super nice as always. The manager however calls me and precede to talk down to me like I am an idiot. Please note this isn't the 1st time she's done this to me. I just took it with a grain of salt the first few times because I've heard her do this to multiple people while there. I'm explaining to her what happened because she had her facts all wrong and she begins yelling at me telling me that "I" have an attitude. What?? The audio was coming in through the car and my husband and I just looked at each other like what on earth? I couldn't get a word in edgewise from that point on and actually asked to speak to Pam (since she's sane and calmer) which only irritated her more. The level of unprofessionalism is off the charts with this woman. She needs therapy, not a job in charge of children. I will never come back nor recommend this place. Such a shame.

My mom was a resident at the Glencairn house for over two years before she recently passed away, and I will always be grateful for the love and care she received there. I am especially thankful for Rusinder and her team. The caregivers are incredibly kind and truly treat the residents like family. They always kept me informed about what was going on with my mom and were very attentive to any changes in her condition, which brought great comfort to me and my family. They did everything they could to keep my mom happy and comfortable. She was loved, respected, and very well cared for by an amazing staff. Her room and the entire house were always clean and well maintained. Knowing she was in such caring hands meant the world to our family. I will forever be grateful for the compassion and dedication they showed my mom during her time there.

Prior to the Glencairn home my mother resided in two different assisted living facilities and none were as caring and compassionate as any of Rusinder's homes. Rusinder helped me through the whole process of choosing a place where my mom would receive excellent care and, while she's definitely on the declining side of her dementia, she's been loved, respected and well cared for with the amazing staff. I'm fully aware of the turnover of staff in this industry but these homes employ people who have stuck around for a long time, I think the consistency of staff brings the level of care to a whole new level. Very grateful for my mom to be spending the rest of her life in their care.
