We placed a large order wholesale in order to have a fall plant sale. The delivery did not arrive, and when we called to inquire, the owner was extremely rude and talked in circles. He would say that he had never heard of us, but then say that he had our order in the truck, but was going to be late. How did he know what our order was and where he was driving if he never heard of us? We ended up canceling as the flower arrival was going to be after the scheduled time of the sale. Mistakes and miscommunication happen but the way you handle them is what makes the difference. We do not recommend. read more

My knowledge about flowers and plants is limited to "what's the difference between an annual and a perennial", but I can confidently say that my botanical body of knowledge expanded today after our visit to the Flower Power Farm. Today I learned that the Farm is absolutely gorgeous, it has a dizzying variety of flowers and plants, and that the service was friendly, helpful, and downright charming. There are HUNDREDS of big tables with thousands of flats and overhead pipes with hundreds of hanging baskets. The colors on display are truly dazzling. Service was great -there was one gent in particular who rode around the premises on a cart and acted as a host and goodwill ambassador to everyone. Pricing was average- what we usually pay at a similar place over the state line in Massachusetts. read more

This place has gotten pricier over the years but what people should know is they add on almost 4% if you don't pay in cash . There are no signs just one at the register. So, you spend all this time picking out your plants to find out they add that extra %. With everything going up , it was a deal breaker for me. read more

I am a Landscaper 30 years in the business I called them I needed 175 mums and a friend or a friend told me to call them I called them at 860-386-6603 took 3 calls before someone answered they said call this number 860-519-9631 that is the wholesale office. I talked to a Becker she was kind on the phone I told her I never bought from them and I am looking for 175 mums she quoted me a price of 3.85 each I said ok she said come down within the next hour and a half and she would load me I drove right down 72 mins later (phone records) I am from MA I got there she was in the back office called on the radio then she said I need to charge you 6.00 each I said you stated 3.85 she said since you didn't buy from here you need to pay 6.00 BUT IF I PAY CASH AND DONT TAKE A SLIP THEY ARE 5.00 AND NO TAX I said how can you tell me one price and double it when I drove 106miles round trip she didn't care and was very rude I left drove down the street less then a mile BAGGOTT FAMILY FARMS very professional and kind and wholesale price 2.25 each with no crap I will always use Baggott Farms amazing service and prices with no crap this Becker girl just wanted to pocket the money I could tell I been in business for more then 30 years I will say flower power had very nice plants however 3 times to get them to answer phone and then Becker almost doubles the price ADVICE USE BAGGOTT FAMILY FARMS AMAZING SERVICE AMAZING PRICES read more

I've heard amazing things about Flower Power Farm and since I had to pick up flowers for Mother's day, I felt it was a great opportunity to try this place out. I am thrilled that I made this decision. Flower Power Farm does not look too big from the outside, the cruiser out front for traffic control should have tipped me off. Once you get inside, it's almost an overwhelming experience. There are at least 5 greenhouses with annuals and perennials. Flower Power has flowers and vegetables. The was blown away by the selection of tomato plants. It took a lot of will power not to pick up a few hot pepper plants. I really loved the experience, even though it was pouring outside. I can't want to come back to pick up herbs and more flowers. read more

My FAVORITE nursery in the area. They have a massive selection of perennials, a larger selection than any of the other greenhouses/nurseries in Western Mass/Northern CT that I've been too. The prices are also unbeatable. They have a 5 for $30 deal on perennials! Excellent selection of vegetable seedlings/starters, baskets, and annuals as well. Smaller shrub selection. Absolutely horrible customer service. I reached out online to Flower Power to see if they had a specific plant in stock. I even sent a picture of the tag that came on the plant. They said they have them and gave me the price. I then proceeded to drive 45 mins to this nursery with my baby and my daughter in the car just to find out that they have a different plant that they were trying to pass off as the same thing when it has a completely different look and color and the pricewas $10 more than they said it was when we spoke prior. But wait theres more! Not only was I disappointed in the dishonesty in regards to the plant and the price, I then went to purchase a tomato plant for my daughter and the sticker on the pot said $14.99 but when I went to pay the same guy tried to charge me $19.99. When I pointed out the sticker on the pot with the price he glared at me and said nothing as he changed the price at the register to $14.99 as if I had done something wrong. I will not recommend nor will I ever be returning to this business. read more

So, I know nothing about gardening. Nothing. But I enjoyed my visit here. The prices seemed reasonable (ex. $36 for 6 perennials). There was plenty of staff on hand to answer questions or direct you to what you were looking for. The plants looked good - time will tell if I keep them alive. The staff kindly allowed us to walk our small dog (with leash) while I shopped, he has separation issues. Prices are quite reasonable, plants healthy, and a professional gardener whom I worked for last year, recommends this nursery above all else. I wish they had a website though. read more

I just recently moved to windsor and decided my front walk way needed some mums! After finding this place online i decided to give it shot, since it wasn't to far from the walmart i usually go to. I am so happy i did, although i went mum shopping at the end of the season, this shop still had a huge selection and a really awesome sale! Mums are normally 2.49 each and i got them for 1.99!!! the colors to pick from were gorgeous, and in really great shape! The woman working there, even gave my little girl a free pumpkin! The next day, i decided to go back and grab more (i underestimated the size of my walk way) they had sold almost all of the plants from the day before but still had an awesome selection of mums, pumpkins, Indian corn, cornstalks and plant pottery at 50% off... thay same woman gave me a few free plants on top of what i purchased. I really love this place, the staff is super friendly, its totally affordable and the best part; i get to support a family business! thank you flower power, i will see you for my xmas tree!!! read more

My dad recommended I go here for some of my plants. I was very happy with the selection. The "Green House" is HUGE! Rows and Rows of tables with plants & flowers to choose from. Once outside the Greenhouse the property continues to have so much to choose from. The prices were also very fair. I bought a few plants & plan on going back today or tomorrow for a few more! read more
