I received a bouquet of flowers yesterday that was delivered from this shop. There was no water in it and some of the flowers were already wilting. If they hadn't been wilting the arrangement would have been beautiful. As a side note, I hope flower shops including this one in the future ask people who are ordering for others if they have pets in the house so they can order pet friendly (not poisonous flowers). read more

Ordered flowers for a Friday delivery on Mother's Day to my wife's work. Unfortunately the flowers never made it. Was told they'd be delivered the next day from 10am-1pm. 2 pm rolled around & still no flowers. I requested the order be cancelled & a refund be issued but I haven't seen any refund. I've went ahead and opened a dispute with my CC company. Will not be ordering from flowers on 4th avenue again. read more

Pati, owner of Flower Shop on 4th Avenue, just created one of the most amazing center-piece floral arrangements for a friend that I have ever seen. It was about 14" in diameter and, in the Christmas spirit, composed mostly of red and white floral elements on a green base. The red and white floral elements were so unusual in shape and texture, most of which I have never seen before. On Thursday December 21 I talked with a woman that I believe is the owner of this shop. I explained that the people to whom I was sending flowers had moved and that I didn't have a new address. I asked that the arrangement be delivered to me instead and we went over my address 3 times. The delivery was to be on December 23. She mentioned the street that she lives on, near me. She mentioned that she would "dress it up". It was to be delivered on December 23; I also mentioned that I had to leave at 3 that day; she said "oh it will be deli long before that". She also mentioned that I would receive a 1 hour delivery window notice. None of this happened. No notice and no delivery. So, basically, I was ripped off. read more

I have ordered flowers from the Flower Shop on 4th Avenue a few times. Each time the bouquets were gorgeous, and delivered on time. I just ordered two more bouquets from the Flower Shop on 4th Avenue and Pati outdid herself! The arrangements are beautiful, the flowers are fresh -- and, especially in the 2nd bouquet, there are several buds so the bouquets will last a long time. If I could give this company negative stars I would. My husband was deploying for a year and paid ahead for me to receive flowers monthly for a year as a surprise. I received one arrangement and then Pati, the owner, stopped delivering. My husband (who was by then overseas) told me they were meant to be a surprise delivered monthly. I called the owner who said my flowers would be delivered. Those never came and I called again. The owner then gave a story about being from a military family and promised to refund the money AND still deliver the flowers. I received one small arrangement and then nothing again. When I called Pati again made false promises and we never received another arrangement. My husband eventually called her himself WHILE ON DEPLOYMENT to tell her we didn't want any flowers from her again and she needed to refund our money. Pati said she didn't have the money and would pay him $50 every two weeks. This occurred over many months of dealing with Pati who never came through with paying anything back and like other reviews she essentially just stole a lot of money from a veteran and his family. read more

I was coming in from Californi for my aunts 90 birthday. Wanted something special & as my husband is Hawaiian we wanted to get an orchid lei. Pati said she could do that but she likes to ad mini carnations in there as well. All was arranged & paid for so I could pick it up the day of Aunts party. Pati was not available to meet me so she left with restaurant next door (which not a problem for me) but when I picked it up it was a carnation lei with only 3 small orchid. When I tried to reach her she was unavailable. Sent a text & she finally responde. She said that the shipment of orchards came in a bit late and most had rotted so she just did the lei the way I found it. My biggest problem is she didn't have the courtesy to even contact me about this problem. I was blindsided with a lei that was not what I ordered. I can truly understand orders coming in late &/or not good enough to work with BUT to not call/text me-I'm furious. She said she'd refund me my money but so far nothing & when she confi my payment still nothing. I'd never recommend or use her again. Unprofessional & unreliable. read more

These ladies were FANTASTIC! Ran in during my lunch break for some "get well soon" flowers for my sister who was at UMC. Initially they said to come back from the bouquet in 40 minutes, but being that I was on my lunch break I asked if I could have them sooner. 10 minutes later I was out the door with a beautiful bouquet of flowers which made my sister very happy. I bought a well priced bouquet for my friends engagement. Unfortunately the woman that was opening was a bit late. The hours state they are open at 9am, but I arrived at 10:30am and all of the doors were locked with no one around. The most beautiful roses that I have ever received! One of my favorite things is to get roses delivered to my office from my husband. They put together a last-minute arrangement for a family member that was beautiful and the flowers lasted quite a good amount of time. However, I had a meeting with them about a wedding reception and was told I would receive a quote in 1 month (after a major holiday). I had no problem with that. I waited 5 or 6 weeks (I can't remember which) instead of 4 weeks to give them a little breathing room and then called them to see if the quote was ready. I was told they were waiting on one final quote from a supplier and they would get back to me in a week. That was 2 months ago. I haven't made a second follow-up call, of course. I did find a different florist but I REALLY wanted it to work out with this shop and I'm really disappointed. read more

So sorry I believed other reviews. Sent a $$ centerpiece for my family's Christmas dinner held last night. Flowers arrived Wed, to allow our host and hostess to enjoy prior to dinner Friday night. I arrived to find dropping, dying centerpiece, yes I checked and water was plentiful in the dish. Just sad, disappointing and a waist of almost $100. I ordered a delivery days in advance for a birthday and the order was not delivered at all. After calling a number of times they claimed to have delivered but could not contact the driver who claims to have delivered the item.
