It's a shame that the reviews are so polarized for this florist. I had a great experience with them. Ordered their Valentine's dozen roses deluxe. Thought ahead, and had them delivered a day early in order to avoid any Valentine's Day disaster. It arrived at 8AM the morning of the 13th, Tracy was my delivery lady. She was great at communicating her arrival and made sure I had the correct order. The actual arrangement was gorgeous! The personalized note was in an envelope and looked great. A delightful touch was the addition of buds from these little white flowers that bloomed the day after Valentine's Day that are still alive and healthy. Flowerama is my go to establishment for flowers. They are located on the SE corner of Drew St and N.Hercules Ave in Clearwater. They're open 7 days a week M-Sat till 8:00pm. Sunday till 3:00pm. I recently purchased some long stem roses for $9.99 a dozen! They have affordable prices for most arrangements and are a quality florist. Flowerama also has greeting cards for every occasion as well as non -flower ideas such as stuffed animals, balloons, decorative flags, and plants for inside the home and out. I had used this place before and they did a good job so I thought I would give them another try. Two weeks before my mother's 80th birthday I called Flowerama to order a dozen yellow roses to be delivered to her. The day before delivery I get a call from them telling me that they don't have any yellow roses! When I explained that I had placed this order two weeks in advance to make sure they had the yellow roses I was told that all they do is put in a standing ordered for a quantity of roses and they don't know what they'll get until they are delivered. You'd think that with this much lead time they would have made sure to fill the order. All they offered to do is provide a different color. Because of the short notice I was unable to find any yellow roses anyplace else. NEVER use these people! They will let you down! He matched my color by spraying a few flowers to match the identical color of my wedding since the color teal I was wanting didn't exist in a flower. When I walked in the day of my wedding I cried they were so beautiful. (Brides beware don't do your make up if you plan to pick up your flowers) My Bouquet was the most beautiful Bouquet I have ever seen. Every guest commented on how beautiful the flowers were. When you are giving flowers to someone, the whole experience and creation should be fun and exciting. He really adds to it. He is in communication and really is eager to help and nail the vision you have in your mind. They do NOT over charge like some florists in that area. They work hard and the quality is amazing! I went to go talk to the owner to place my wedding flower order 6 months before my wedding...I found the shop because of a beautiful bouquet at a wedding expo. Because the owner did not realize the wedding fell on Mother's Day Weekend (not my fault!) she raised the deliver fee OVER $100 (less than a month from my wedding day!!!!)!!!! I, a bride in a panic, had to quickly come up with plan B, or pay the additional $$ for the delivery fee...after I had already paid 50% deposit!!!! I cannot say I was that impressed with the bridesmaids bouquets. All I wanted was light pink roses. They were a gross light pink - almost peach-ish (not that peach-ish isn't pretty, just not what I had in mind or wanted!) I knew there was nothing I could do at that point because they were delivered to the church already (by a friend)..... All of the wrist corsages fall apart and the grooms boutonniere was junk! Since I was unfamiliar with the area, I selected Flowerama because they were conveniently located nearby. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful, providing a beautiful arrangement for her service. When I showed up the next day with a number of varying containers and the vague idea to make "unmatching-but-somehow-coordinated" informal arrangements in her favorite pink & green color combination for a reception following the funeral, they more than rose to the occasion, creating some absolutely lovely pieces. Everyone at the reception commented on them & I know my mother would have loved them. Not only did they do this overnight, but they accommodated us despite an already overloaded schedule (turns out it was local prom weekend).
