I called THIS flower shop on Sunday , they were the ONLY Place open .They were about to close and they gladly took my order. With in 30 mins they delivered a beautiful tall large flower arrangment with balloons! They were just beautiful. I called from Beverly Hills and wanted to SEE what they were going to send to my custumer so nothing embarrassing would be sent. So the sales girl Sarah texted me 3 ready arranments I could choose from. I am VERY pleased to have called them and the price of the arrangement was only $ 100. Please DO give them your business!!! The staff at Flowerama are all so professional and efficient. I went in today to get a quick arrangement for my graduating senior for her band performance. They were able to make it up on the spot with her appropriate school colors. I, also, have had to have two funeral arrangements delivered in the last two months. So it doesn't have the best of selection but given the location and the price I think they are pretty okay. It was so beautiful and I wanted some flowers. I am particular and don't like traditional flowers. Unfortunately that is what they have. But they had a bucket of hydrangeas ($5 a stem) that must have just arrived. They were beautiful and five days later still look great. They are great for roses and potted plants as well as orders I am sure but just for popping in and grabbing something not so much. read more

This is the closest flower shop to Shawnee Mission Hospital, when coming from my house. So I've purchased flowers here for years. Never again. I understand with Covid-19 everything has changed. That said, when I attempted to enter the shop. I was abruptly stopped by an employee. I was told by that employee they were limiting the number of customers in the shop. And asked pretty rudely why I was there. Other customers entered and exited the shop during the exchange. Some wearing masks some without. Eventually she escorted me inside and allowed me to purchase the bouquet I picked out, after try several times to get me to pick something else. She refused to let go of the flowers until I had a receipt in hand. I was aware of the other customers around me. None were having the same "experience" I was having. Coming and going through the front door with impunity and without escort. I don't look like the other customers though and so wasn't treated like them. I will not spend a dollar there again. We were in town for the birth of my twin nephews stumbled upon Flowerama as it was close to the hospital. What an amazing find!!! Not only were they open on a Sunday they made two customized fresh floral arrangements for us while we waited. They staff couldn't be more friendly and hospitable. My wife moved to a different job location last fall, so I needed to find a new florist to use. I called Angie and told her my situation and she thanked me for giving them a try. It was getting late in the day so was not expecting to be able to get a delivery until the next day. The owner heard the conversation and offered to deliver the flowers herself that afternoon. What a wonderful surprise. My wife loved the arrangement, so I called last week to order another custom arrangement for her birthday the following Monday. They arrived on time and again, my wife loved them. The following day, the roses in the arrangement were looking puny already. I called Angie and shared what had happened. She apologized and immediately offered suggestions to make things right. She gave me full credit towards another flower arrangement so I used the credit and upped the order for Valentines Day. She again thanked me for bringing the issue to their attention. The resolution was well beyond what I expected or would have ask for. Customer service goes a long way with me so I wanted to give a big shout out to this florist. The arrangements have been awesome and they go out of their way to satisfy their customers! read more

Teleflora recently placed an order through a Flowerama for my mother-in-law's birthday. Flowerama sent me confirmation that they had delivered the flowers, but they had not. When I complained to Teleflora about this, I requested a note of apology to my MIL for them missing her birthday. The note they attached read: "please accept our apologies for the late delivery of your floral gift it was no fault of Flowerama or Teloflora". They implied I was in error, but I sent it last week, had the address right, and they sent confirmation they had delivered it! The note was rude and unprofessional and not an apology at all. Teleflora is making it right, and the flowers they finally delivered matched the Teleflora site. I will be sure I never work through Flowerama again. read more

Placed Mother's Day telephone order on 5/9/14 @ 8:17 am, for teleflora arrangement pictured on website after being unable to place the "coupon" order online. Confirmed with Stephanie that the pictured arrangement ( white roses with purple fillers in clear vase with purple ribbon) was available for delivery in zip 66202 for Sat., 5/10/14. She further confirmed the flowers in the arrangement included NO carnations as my Mom has an aversion to these flowers (associates them with funerals). Stephanie then confirmed that Mom would be contacted by phone PRIOR to delivery since we were unsure what her Saturday schedule might be. I Chose this florist because of close proximity to recipient and advertised 7 day delivery, including 10 am to 4 pm Sunday. Excluded Sunday delivery days did NOT include Mother's Day. RESULT: No advance notice of delivery. Delivery man startled Mom with early am delivery when she wasn't expecting any guests. He said, "Somebody has to be first". Multi-colored floral arrangement received WASNT anything like the pictured arrangement ordered and DID include CARNATIONS ! Can't imagine a florist NOT having White Roses in stock in May! Called florist upon learning of delivered arrangement @ 12:48 pm. 5/10/14. Sounded like classic " bait & switch" tactics: first I was reminded of their substitution policy and told that the " employee" would be counseled as to not " guaranteeing " an exact pictured arrangement would be sent. Upon learning that the order was placed directly with the owner who assured me the pictured arrangement was available for delivery on Sat., Angie promised to have the owner get back to me on Tues with a resolution to include picking up the delivered flowers with possible refund or redelivering the ordered arrangement on Tuesday after Mother's Day. Advised employee that redelivery of flowers on another day besides Mother's Day was not an acceptable option. After several conversations with Stephanie, she finally agreed to contact supplier to see if she could get the flowers for the arrangement as ordered on Mother's Day morning to "make this right". So I'll be anxious to update this post! UPDATE: recd email from Stephanie evening of 5/10/14, advising supplier cannot provide flowers for pictured arrangements, so she'll be providing a full refund within 72 hrs! She added that we should keep the CARNATIONS with her compliments and place future orders elsewhere. I picked up flowers for my sister in laws wedding. luckily she described to me what they were supposed to be (not have greenery) her bouqet had greenery, the one thing she didn't want. I told the lady at the front desk it needed to be remade. The woman stated that the "designer" was out for the weekend and wouldn't come back in to make it. (I picked them up at 3pm on Friday, during prime wedding season). I then said that they need to refund the money for them if I was going to have to have the bouqet remade somewhere else and she "didn't have the authority" to do so. read more

I did not have a good experience with this flower shop. I ordered the flowers online for a friend whom just had a major surgery. I paid the $10 delivery charge on their site for next day delivery. The flower shop called me the day of delivery, just a few hours before and said the only way I could have them delivered that day was to pay an extra $14. Or I could wait a day and only get charged and extra $8. With such short notice on the extra fee I had no choice but to go ahead with the order. The fee was not clear on their web site and I really feel I was taken advantage of. If the delivery fee was listed accurately this would have been no problem. The shop was non sympathetic. The manager was not in that day so I requested a call back the following day. No one ever called me. The flowers did arrive, but I did not see them so I can not speak to their quality, however the customer service is way off base here. read more
