Michelle and her staff are fantastic. Every time I head down to the shore I stop in to Michelle's shop for some fresh cut flowers to have at the house. Some times I call ahead, sometimes I don't, but Michelle is always very accommodating and puts together a beautiful, full, fresh and reasonably priced bouquet for me. I get enough flowers for one large arraignment in the great room and have enough left over for guest rooms and bathrooms and it really adds the perfect touch for us and our guests on the weekend. I wouldn't go anywhere else for flowers 'down the shore'. Thanks Michelle! read more

Michelle and her staff did an amazing job with designing the flowers for our wedding! Our flowers were stunning, Michelle and her staff worked with us through out the entire event. We had our wedding outside and it was suppose to rain that day, she recommended certain details we didn't think about and refunded our pergola flowers due to the rain. Most florists would not have refunded our flowers. Michelle went above and beyond for us and her prices are exceptional! Other local places were costly and Michelle worked within our budget. I lost my mom whose favorite flowers were daisies and blue hydrangeas. I spoke with someone (I believe was Michelle) for a long time explaining how both my mom and I were artists and how my mom arranged amazing bouquets of silk flowers throughout her lifetime and most recently for all the various seasons and holidays at the mausoleum for many of our relatives who had passed. l wanted a simple, abstract spray for on top of her casket of her favorite flowers. It was the end of October so I understand the season may not have been right but I was so disappointed... the hydrangeas weren't blue at all, they were mostly gray with a blue hue ( not a very good combination for a funeral). The daisies were uninspired & overall I was very disappointed. Since I was so sad and distracted at the time I never gave Michelle any feedback but it would have been nice if someone called me to let me know that the flowers I wanted were not up to par. I trusted her as a professional... a little communication would have gone a long way. I could have totally chosen something else that would have been much prettier that would have made a lasting impression for the last moments of remembering my mom. read more

I wasn't planning on giving any stars but can't seem to be able to delete the one popping up. I placed an order on December 18th for a December 31st delivery. I received an email confirmation of my order and my credit card was charged. I was surprised on December 31st that I didn't hear from my friend who I sent flowers to. The next day I called her and she never received a delivery or call from the florist. I don't check my email every day but quickly checked to see if there had been one from the florist. I noticed an email dated December 29th for a credit for my flower order. After opening the email, that is what it was, a credit, nothing else. I am not sure what happened. I sent an email to Michelle's days ago and haven't heard from them. No excuse what so ever! took my business to Melinda's instead. read more

Not only did Michelle design an exquisite Red Rose, White Lilies, and baby's breath bouquet in a lovely vase, but she listened with understanding, of how special the man who passed meant to me and our country as a Veteran who served our country in WWII. Late review. We live in Las Vegas. My 99 year old grandmother lives in Brick, NJ. I called these guys on Mother's Day because FTD waited till Saturday evening to tell us they couldn't take care of the orders placed 5 days earlier. Minus 5 stars for FTD. Anyway, I called Flowers by Michelle near (maybe at) their closing time (noon) on Mother's Day. I got the guy who would be making the last deliveries just as he was getting ready to leave. He was kind enough not to put me off -- several other local florists literally just laughed at me when I tried to place an order -- and he delivered a great arrangement about an hour later to my grandmother. It made her day and earned them a customer for life. Just really great service that you don't often see nowadays. Thank you so much to the gentleman on the phone and to whoever put the arrangement together. read more

Had an absolutely horrible experience here. Stopped in the morning after my mother passed away. I explained that we were looking for 4 arrangements, and that I understood the timeline was tight and that the funeral home had spoken to the owner the night before or early that morning, giving a heads up that we would be coming in with a large, last minute request. The woman working that day was insanely rude, shockingly so. I tried to remain calm, and explained again, saying, "I know it's a quick turnaround, let me explain what we would like and you can tell me what is possible." The woman continued to be incredibly difficult. I asked to speak with the shop owner and was told "I don't even know where the phone is..." after she found the phone she called the owner, at least I think she actually called her, and she proceeded to misquote me and say I was asking for things I never asked for. I tried to interject and requested to speak to the owner, I was told "she doesn't want to talk to you." Once she hung up the phone I expressed that her customer service left a lot to be desired and she told me, "the customer isn't always right." Odd approach. The shop is not well kept, actually it's a s**thole. The woman who "dealt" with me was a complete monster, not to mention i was there less than 12 after my mom died, pretty embarrassing behavior. I finally lost cool, regrettably raised my voice and left without ordering a darn thing. Went to Flowers by Narcissus (in TR by Marshall's) and had the best possible experience. Please do not waste your time and energy with the rude clowns at Flowers by Michelle. read more
