When I picked up a bouquet and turned to ask a question, the owner immediately raised her voice and scolded me for touching the flowers, stating that customers were not allowed to do so. While I understand that stores may have policies about handling merchandise, it was not what was said that bothered me, it was the way it was said. The tone was unnecessarily harsh, embarrassing, and completely inappropriate. I apologized and explained that there was no sign and that I had no way of knowing the policy. Rather than accepting the explanation and moving on, the owner continued to repeat herself and argue. What should have been a simple, polite interaction became an uncomfortable confrontation. This was a special day surrounding prom, and customer service should reflect the significance of those moments. Unfortunately, I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Professionalism and kindness cost nothing, and this business could benefit from improving the way it communicates with customers.

When attempting to pick up the order at the time we agreed on just the day prior, I was told they couldn't find it...after answering 20 questions and showing my online credit card statement I asked for a refund. That apparently was a no no. The 'big' guy who worked their apparently couldn't handle the 'stress' of Mothers Day weekend and literally started yelling at me. Honestly, screaming at me, in front of other customers....unreal. I am a grown man and don't expect to be yelled at. I was more than accommodating during the fiasco, never once raised my voice (and the others in the store know it, as do all the customers who were there) ... Obviously will never go there again. This place is an embarrassment to local businesses. The excuse given (by a pleasant woman when taking my info for a refund) was that they were busy because of mother's day. Perhaps less business will help in the future.
