I have ordered from them in years past but this was a huge disappointmen. I spent $80 for a dozen tulip arrangement for my mom for Mothers Day and this is what she got. The woman who delivered told my dad two of the tulips were broken. You can see them on the counter in the photo. I do not ever recommend this florist. read more

A friend from out of state wanted a particular type of double stemmed white orchid to be delivered to my husband and me as a thank you. Yoko didn't have exactly what she wanted in the shop but told my friend she would find it - and did she ever! Flowers by Yoko delivered the most gorgeous doubled stemmed orchid plant I have ever seen. It is stunning and exactly what my friend had wanted for us. I was so impressed by this that I actually called the shop to thank her. The conversation was lovely and the shop has sure gained a new customer! We've just moved back to the area after many years of living elsewhere and it's good to know we have a place that is so professional and takes pride in what they do. read more

We payed $200 for a bouquet and it was delivered late and the flowers was dead. I tried several times to call them so they could make it right. no luck I had to find another flower shop to fix it payed another $150 for the other flower shop to fix it. Greatly disappointed! I always enjoy stopping in here. Yoko is an avid fisherman and loves to talk about her most recent catch or even give you a quick lesson on cast net fishing out in the parking lot. Her flowers are fresh and she has even put together arrangements with only 20 minutes notice. She's my go to for flowers in Gulf Breeze. read more

Beware! Arrangements ordered online are not the arrangements received! Arrangement received had several items omitted and roses substituted with carnations. See photos. Very poor communication! Yoko did not call buyer to notify there was an issue with supplies for the arrangement purchased. She assumed the arrangement she put together and sent out was fine...buyer who is in Virginia called Yoko to complain and after about an hour on the phone, Yoko refused to send out a new arrangement to make it right. By far the worst experience I've ever had sending flowers. I ordered an arrangement of flowers for my mom for Mother's Day. What my mother received was absolutely subpar and nothing like the picture that I ordered (neither quality nor quantity was adequate). I called the business and was told the only way to fix the situation was for them to TAKE BACK the flowers from my mom and then refund me the money. It's not about the money (which mind you was $72 without the delivery fee), but about the fact that it was 110% not what I ordered and sloppy work. Poorly put together, inadequate, and very disappointing delivery. I understand that Mother's Day is a very busy time for the flower industry, but there is no excuse for this "finished product". I will never use this business again and if you want quality work I recommend that you do not use them either. read more

Called late in the afternoon to have flowers delivered to one of our church family that was in Gulf Breeze Hospital. They took my order and was very polite and professional promising the arrangement would be delivered today at no extra charge. I had called several florists previously and was told I would have to pay an additional delivery fee because it was after 1 pm when I placed the order. I'm very pleased with my experience and will use this florist again. read more

Seriously disappointed in the quality of flowers delivered to my mother for her birthday. I realize the finished product will not look identical to the image shown on the web page but this was just ridiculous. I paid almost $60 for an arrangement of daisies and small roses and the finished product looked like something I could have made myself from grocery store flowers. I wish I could post a picture comparing the two so you could see for yourself. The arrangement was barely half the size of the one pictured on their website. This is my first Yelp review, and I just had to write it because I have been ordering flowers almost once a week from Yoko for the past year - her arrangements have always been absolutely gorgeous from the very first one I ordered, an excellent value and of the highest quality flower. She makes very artful sculptural arrangements and has excellent taste and sense of color - and has been willing in the past to make a special trip to the flower wholesale for last minute, urgent deliveries. I am extremely impressed with this flower shop. I place an order online about 11am on the Saturday before Mother's Day. I requested the arrangement to be delivered before 4pm the same day. (I had already called three other florist in this area who told me "We can't guarantee any delivery today!") As soon as I placed the order they called to let me know they didn't have the exact flowers in stock, but they could substitute it with a couple of options for the same price. I received a text message and a photo of the flowers at 1:40pm from my mother. They were beautiful! Speedy service, quality flowers, and extremely courteous salespeople! We ordered flowers for Mothers day. Specifically mentioning that we did not want Lilies, but that we did want tulips and maybe daisies. We also said we wanted it mulit-tiered. When mom recieved her flowers she had a small arrangement of lilies and a filler flower (about the size of your thumbnail). We were very dissapointed with the arrangement and called to express that. We did not fel it was worth the $75 that we paid and besides we didn't get a single flower that we wanted. They said they would have to pull our ticket to determine how to ake it right. The next day they drove out to the house and picked up the flowers from our mother. They said something about the fact that they had been out of tulips and had made a mistake. They handed her a bunch of ct tulips - no vase - no arrangement - and left. I was furious! First you mess up the order and then you take it back from our mother?? Unbelievable. There hasn't been a credit back to the credit card as of yet, but there better be. There are a number of other florists in the area. rest assred the next time I want to send flowers to my mother I will use one of them. DO NOT use this florist! read more

I don't often write reviews but our experience with Yoko as our florist for our wedding in October was too amazing to go unshared! From the beginning Yoko was so kind and easy to work with in designing and making the flowers I envisioned for my bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces. She worked with what I wanted but also had fabulous recommendations that made for a more breath-taking result then I could've ever dreamed. Particularly, she found the perfect coral color rose and daisies that was hard to look for - something I could easily see a bigger-scale business no caring much about. Fabulous prices too especially for how big the bouquets were! The flowers were SO fresh. Just incredibly healthy and resilient, so much so a wedding guest who took home a centerpiece sent me a picture of that centerpiece looking fresh 2 weeks later!! I'd recommend Yoko hands down over any other florist. She really cares about your wants and needs and is very talented and creative!
