I live out of town and ordered a live plant for my aunt and uncle who live in Ashtabula through the website.. they were out of stock for the plant I ordered so they called me immediately and talked with me ... without showing me any pictures, we discussed what they could do and and the lady *Allison , was very clear and kind as she helped me over the phone.. after our conversation, I even asked her if she could send me a picture of the product so I could actually "see" it .. without hesitating , she said .. "of course! " .. I live out of town and ordered my mother flowers from the Flowers on the Avenue website for her birthday. When they were delivered, they were not arranged as they appeared on the website, so I called after their business hours and left a message explaining that I had ordered a different style of arrangement than what was delivered. Someone called me back and left a nice message on my phone explaining the circumstance that the arrangement I wanted was not available and they substituted something similar. They did try to contact me prior to doing this, but because of my work schedule, I did not see their call. Satisfied with their answer, I did not call the shop back and went about my day. Lo and behold this morning, my mother received a brand new flower arrangement that was exactly what I ordered originally with a sweet note letting her know that this was what I wanted to send her. I live in Colorado and was not able to make my grandmothers funeral. I ordered flowers from another company on a Saturday who said they could do a stand up spread and have it delivered at the funeral home by 10am on Monday. The other company called me an hour and a half before my grandmothers burial and told me they could not do the flowers in time even though they said they could and even though they charged me extra for the delivery time. Last minute panic, I called Flowers on the Ave and told them what happened. (Which they already knew because the other company was calling them to do it). I asked them please to do it. Not only did they only have 1 hour to get them to the funeral home , but they got them there and got them there sooner and it was beautiful. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!
