What got delivered was not only NOT the size I ordered, it looks like it was hastily thrown together by someone who doesn't know what they're doing, or possibly toppled over and then got trampled during the delivery process. They are closed today and there is no option to leave a voice mail message when I called. I am extremely sad and disappointed, because there is no way to fix this before Christmas.

Though my wedding was in New Hope, I live in NYC. I was able to meet with Kate only once and knew from the first meeting that she really understood our style and vision. She lives on a beautiful little farm where she grows all of her flowers. After our meeting, she created a Pinterest board for my wedding where we both shared ideas and arrangements for the various aspects of the ceremony and reception. Kate is super creative and really knows her stuff. She came up with some gorgeous arrangements and beautifully incorporated the vintage vases that my mom collected. We planned to have our wedding entirely outside, but the weather had other plans for us :) Everything had to be moved inside of 2 barns. The day before the event, I spoke to Kate to go over the changes. I was initially worried about how everything would translate inside, but after talking with her I felt so much better. She was able to bring the outside in by totally transforming the barns into a magical and romantic floral wonderland. I have no doubt that Kate and her assistant worked incredibly hard that day and handled all of the changes with professionalism and grace. They even added some last second details, such as adding candles to the tables and brought in an awesome chandelier made from branches and flowers! When I walked in to the space, I was truely overwhelmed. It was like a dream! If you are looking for a unique, local, artistic, Eco-friendly and absolutely beautiful florist experience, please go to Kate at Lilies and Lavender. I first went to another Lehigh valley florist for an estimate which, to me, seemed really high. Not knowing anything about flowers I almost booked them, but something told me to get a second estimate. On a friend's suggestion, I went and met with sue and got an estimate for the same exact flowers at less than half of the original estimate. Being a very easy going bride, I would've been thrilled with "ok" flowers at that price, but they were absolutely stunning. The flowers were so beautiful and everything was just perfect. She delivered our things to my house at one time and then took the ceremony flowers to the park a few hours later, perfectly on time. One thing I really appreciated was that sue suggested we bring extra vases to the reception to put the ceremony flowers in for decoration. I feel most businesses would try to sell you extra things instead of helping to be creative with what you have. I will go back to sue at Albert brothers for all of my future flower needs and you should too!!
