She is friendly but professional. She cares about how the patient is doing overall. She covers all the possibilities of the issue and all the possi bilities of treatment. She also deserves to be employee of the two years. I'd love to have her be my Dr.

NEVER leave a loved one alone in there, because if their heart stops, the staff might not even notice (yes they are being sued for that exact thing) No many how many Daisy Awards a nurse has, it still doesn't make her a good person. And there are BAD Nurses there. Choose a different hospital but if you are forced to use Mercy, make sure that you are never left alone!!

And my thighs are really…read more'chubby' because of the fluid so when I started to develop what I called 'bruises' all over my thighs and stomach (excess skin from losing 130lbs semi-recently) I just figured the bruises formed because my legs rubbing against each other. I went to show my regular doctor and she was really concerned so she referred me to a dermatologist since I didn't have one already. Dr. Grote took a look and was a little surprised/confused himself on what was on my legs, so we took a biopsy in two spots to get checked out. Aside of the pain from the rash (as it's now being referred to as) they biopsy didn't show cancer or anything else I should be super worried about, except both doctors here have no idea what this rash is. So they're sending me to Omaha to figure out what it is. So yeah, this clinic doesn't have the resources it needs for me, but I consider sending me to a specialist good practice because it proves the doctors care and want me to be well. (I just really want the pain.) Dr. Grote couldn't prescribe me anything because of my liver disease. The clinic is clean, the receptionist women are super nice and one of the nurses even gave me a bunch of good bandages to help me keep my stitches clean. (From the biopsy.) If I ever come across the need for a dermatologist again, I'll be heading to this clinic first.

Dr. Grote was amazing to me and so was every single staff member. I was sent to a Plastic Surgeon and had surgery. Now here I am alive and cancer free nine months later. He is very warm and kind and I love how much they care and help.

Treated me like they did not believe me, I told them it was happening every 15 min or so, and when I actually did have an emesis and was too weak to get out of the bed it ended up on the floor. The nurse walked in and said "oh what did you do here". Dhe the proceeded to leave, did not give me anything to use incase it happened again and left. It then happened a second time and this time the DR walked in and found it covered it with a towel, and finally gave me a bag to use. Told me I needed to swallow anti nausea meds and drink a whole glass of water and I'd be fine and I could leave. Well I instantly had another emesis after swallowing the pills. And they seemed confused. At this point I'm fading in and out of consciousness and nobody is helping me. Finally the Dr goes, are you thirsty? I agreed hardly able to shake my head yes. They FINALLY gave me an IV after like 2 hours and I believe added the anti nausea meds. As soon as that was finished I felt 75% better. I'm not a medical professional and I could have told you what I needed just from the initial check in based on symptoms and how long this had been going on but at the time could not verbalize it. Made a stressful situation much better. Dr. Dreesson, nurse Tiffany, front desk Kitti, several different x-ray techs- truly everyone was great. Honestly, it could not have been better.
