Would be zero. Did walk in - place had one person getting a haircut and four staff chatting around the entrance. I was asked if I had a reservation and said no just walk in. Was told it would be 30 mins. I asked why 30 mins as no one here and staff available. Got a great response - it's 30 mins. I guess the staff were catching up on news and needed their coffee. I hope the owner might want to check what's going on. Not working for sure. read more

There was a 1:30 available online so I walk in with my kid to see if there's anything earlier since I was nearby. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and maybe the girl at the front desk is just hung over, but she had the biggest chip on her shoulder and attitude. She very curtly said they have a 2:30. It's noon. I said oh there's a 1:30 online, or maybe that was Erie. She repeated herself, more curtly than the first time. I could have taken the spot and driven back, we are off today, but her attitude was just such a turn off. I was nice and said thanks, we'd check out Erie. Also, maybe the website shouldn't offer walk-in as an option if you can't do a 15 minute cut within the next 2.5 hours. That's probably more of a corporate issue but I wouldn't have wasted the girl's time or annoyed her by dropping in. read more

I have to start this off by saying, Jessica and Shelby are amazing. They went through great lengths to try and make sure the issue was corrected but Stephanie completely ruined my hair. I went in with references pictures of what I wanted, asked her what she thought; she said oh yeah I can do that. She ended up finishing my cut under 30 mins. Cutting off like 12 inches. Did a completely different cut. Long bob is what i asked for and she left me with multiple layers and a face frame. It's just hair, but I'm super sad and left with something that I hate and having to wear my hair up every day. read more

My boyfriend went to get a haircut today for an interview tomorrow and they cut a bald spot into the front of his hairline. They never mentioned that it had happened while he was there, but when he returned home we immediately noticed. We returned and the manager apologized, and offered to recut his hair to "fade" the bald spot in but just on one side... it still looks really uneven and very noticeable. When I said it still didn't look right, she said "well I can't put hair back onto his head" instead of trying to even it out more, even though the shop was completely empty. They never offered to refund him for his haircut or his time. It really sucks paying for quality when he could've gotten a much better haircut at Great Clips. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, to say the least. read more

This place is the best!! Makayla does my hair and is awesome! I have a full under shave so I have to come in as see her every 3 weeks or so and I have yet to be disappointed! When she first did my cut a couple days later I noticed one side wasn't even with the other side so the next time I went in I mentioned it and she fixed it right away without issue! She didn't make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about like most other hairdressers I've worked with and that was refreshing! She also didn't push a bunch of stuff on me that I didn't need like hair products or cutting extra hair off that didn't need to be just to make some extra money. I won't do anywhere else now with my hair! I suggest calling ahead and making an appointment they are busy busy! read more

Worst experience at a hair salon ever! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. We researched a stylist that scissor cut medium length men's hair. Jill's bio said all the above. My son had grown out his hair for 8 months. Went in and explained he wanted scissor cut, medium length half way down his ear. She turned him away from the mirror and immediately broke out the clippers and run it up the back of his head. Cut his hair short. I complained to the manager and was told "what would you like me to do, I can't put his hair back on". Well no duh, maybe hire competent hairstylists. read more

On a whim & desperate for hair cuts my Uncle & I decided to give Floyds a try since its in the neighborhood. At the check in counter was a younger girl who seemed pleasant enough, until she actually started to speak. Her first question was spouted out "did you check in online?" We both said no it was our first time in, she then became annoyed at this, as if done intentionally to disrupt her day somehow. Perhaps it required some additional effort, for which she was obviously not trained for or even inclined to give. After giving our phone#s several times each just to get in their "system" she proceeded to say "I`ll see if I can find you a stylist" as if doing us a favor... There were at least 3 girls who weren't even cutting hair! A bleach blond girl became my punishment I guess for not signing in online. Since she had nothing to say (0) other then the obligatory "how do you want this cut?" less then 10 minutes later & equally unimpressive haircut we were out of our chairs & paying "Franny friendly" at the front counter $25.00 a piece. My uncle & I left not only feeling unattended to but actually ripped off by this Establishment & its rude employees. Frankly, Floyd`s should have stayed in Mayberry giving out cuts to the Sheriff & his side kick deputy for a nickle & cup home town gossip. read more

I've never cried about a hair cut until today. The stylist never introduced her self but she was in a red velvet shirt and black corduroy skirt. She asked what I wanted then proceeded to not listen. When we got where I wanted with my hair what I asked for. She didn't even ask "does this look like what you want" she looked at it and said " this is stupid" and started fading. And berating me for not wanting to go right off the REFRENCE photo I dIDNT EVEN WANT TO USE. She demanded a REFRENCE photo I hate REFRENCE photos because it's never what I want. I've never been more irritated and frustrated with a hair cut and I've had stylist give me women's hair cuts before . And add insult to injury she charged me a midlength ( my hair didn't even go over my ears when I came down and I've had longer and stylist charged me a Floyd's) so now Instead of 30 I'm paying 50. She burned my scalp with the hair dryer. I've never been treated with such disrespect and had my identity ripped from me with such absolute bullshit. I highly recommend Floyds 99, and especially Gabe. The prices are good, the atmosphere is fun and upbeat, and my hair always looks amazing when I leave!!! Gabe is an exceptional hairstylist and also excellent with color! I would stick with him as my stylist at any salon he works at or moves to, as long as it is in Colorado :) He has helped me grow my hair out from a past bad experience, and also keeps my color fresh and trendy. A Rock N Roll Salon!? Yes it is. I called ahead on a Friday and said I was 30 minutes away. Being my first time here, I didn't know what to expect. When we spoke on the phone it sounded a little busy and I could also hear some music. Arriving a few minutes early, I checked in and had a brief wait. The walls are mostly covered by a collage of musicians photos. They also had a tasteful mix of tunes playing I really enjoyed. I was looking for a change with my cut and style and said I was open for suggestions. She recommend a few things and off we went! I received an excellent cut and was treated kindly by the stylist. I would recommend this salon over others because of its uniqueness and great service. My haircut was quick and also fairly priced. They also offer straight blade shaves by appointment and sell products too. Thanks for a fresh look, I'll be back. read more

Make it quick, you say? Okay, I'll do it like Floyds! I'm always in and out of here in less than 20 minutes. No foolin'. These gals (and guys) are quick and efficient. I've had two good haircuts here, both by different stylists. Both were friendly, professional, and made me feel super comfortable in their chairs. Front desk staff is also friendly and helpful. They were able to sneak me in ASAP, which is much appreciated. I also like the warm shaving cream they use for the neck shave. That's my favorite part. I like this place. read more

I went in in April, after having another salon do my hair and have it badly messed up. I went in, and the woman who did my hair didn't do a bad job, however, I noticed when I left, that my tail had been kept on (I forgot to mention I wanted it off, so that's on me!) and there were points all over my layers, which were causing issues with my hair flipping- the manager, who redid my hair for me, even mentioned that it literally, "looks like stair steps." Worst service ever, the receptionist was a young very rude girl, I believe her name was Kate. I expected it to be a family friendly barbershop and as I'm waiting with my son the front desk is rambling with a stylist cursing loudly and just talking so negative about customers. Not only was the receptionist rude, my son received a horrible haircut from a stylist named Ray, she didn't listen to what I wanted for my sons haircut it came out looking like a 7minute haircut I couldn't believe the language that came out of her mouth while a 7 year old child was receiving a haircut from her. Floyd's always has great music and cool art on the walls. They were very nice checking in. I got a simple haircut from Julie the manager. She seemed in a rush. I had patches of hair where she missed shaving over my left ear and sideburn. I asked to go shorter but I was shut down. Called ahead for an appt time. Arrived on-time and 4 people came in after, and were taken ahead of me while I waited. No explanation, the host sat there, inert and above it all. I thought that type of apathetic culture was isolated to the one Floyd's location in Boulder, but it appears to pretty much consistent across all of them. Lousy service with big attitude at reception and all of that for an average cut. Too many options to put up with it all. I called to set up an appointment with a suggested stylist and the manager Julie got on the phone. She was very rude and would interrupt while I was talking trying to get my thoughts out when she asked a question. By the time the conversation was over and Julie TOLD me what I was saying because "I am a colorist!, I KNOW what you're saying." she said. and I nicely said "I don't think you understand what I am trying to say.", she shot me down again with her rude tone. I work in customer service as well. If I talked like that to consumers I'D BE FIRED! we are taking our business elsewhere. The poor stylists that do work there; I feel bad for them. I was looking for a barber shop in the area and I decided to give them a try. I went there with my daughter, son, wife and newborn baby. My children do not speak English so I thought I could stay close to them while they were being serviced. And there the problem began. The receptionist asked us to move the stroller out as it was difficult for her to pass. The place was almost empty. I said that there was my baby in the stroller and I could not leave the baby alone in the door. Then she was so rude and began to yell and talk really harsh against me. After that she was really upset hitting stuff and moving some thrash bags around, very furious. I thought she was going to attack someone. The hair cut was ok, but this young ginger woman should stay away from customer service. She didn't apologise at all when I paid the two haircuts. I'll never be back again. read more
