It is a family-owned business, so the guides are related. The pace was relaxed and comfortable. You are on the horse the whole time, but they give plenty of breaks for both the riders and the horses. Throughout the ride, the guides will share fun insights about the horses themselves, the local wildlife and plants, the ranch itself and of course the Grand Tetons. They welcome all skill levels - even total beginners like me. The guides take the time to teach you how to direct and handle your horse, and the horses are very well-behaved. They also keep the group small, which makes the experience feel much more personal. You'll see stunning views of the Hoback area, the Snake River Canyon, and the Teton Range. You'll ride to see a spectacular view of Bidger Teton National Park. The guide is so nice that he will take pictures of you on your horse with the scenic background. Not only were Mick and Zach very professional, but they were so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. They took us to several beautiful spots along the way at which we stopped to take a break and take in the lovely environs. The horses were all very good and perfect for this ride. I think I had a smile on my face the whole time!! When we completed the ride I looked at my husband and daughter and said, "Wow! I could do that again tomorrow!"
