I am writing this review to warn future customers against using Vacation Express. Due to…read morecircumstances beyond our control, our journey began with significant travel disruptions. Our original flights from Dallas to Houston were delayed multiple times, ultimately resulting in a cancellation for the evening because the airline was unable to secure the required flight attendants. Immediately after the cancellation, I contacted Vacation Express to notify their team and request assistance. I specifically asked that our airport transportation be rescheduled and inquired about compensation for the missed night, as we had already paid for accommodations we could not use. I was assured that these matters would be handled and that a review for a partial refund would be initiated. However, during this process, our entire reservation appears to have been mistakenly canceled/mishandled in their system. When we checked our Hilton reservation via the app, it was no longer visible. Upon contacting Vacation Express again, I was reassured that our booking was still active and that everything was in order. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Upon arrival in Cancun, we discovered that our transportation provider (Nexus) had no record of our transfer. Despite being told by Vacation Express that the arrangements had been communicated, Nexus representatives confirmed they had received no such update. We were left waiting for approximately one hour before transportation was reluctantly arranged due to the situation. Upon arrival at the Hilton Mar Caribe, we encountered an even more serious issue: the hotel thought we were a no show, and had no room for us. We were told that we did have a reservation, but this was clearly not the case, and they were trying to cover themselves. While I appreciate them accommodating us, I do not appreciate or accept being lied to. Clearly, something happened with the reservation or the room would have been ready or at least near ready. I again contacted Vacation Express and was told I would receive a return call; however, that call never came. As a result, my family waited over three hours before a room could be secured. Our family paid a lot of money for this trip only to be disappointed time and time again. These ongoing issues indicate a clear breakdown in communication between Vacation Express, Nexus, and the Hilton Mar Caribe. Additionally, due to these disruptions and the initial cancellation error, we missed our scheduled excursion to Chichen Itza. The first two days of what was meant to be a relaxing, all-inclusive vacation were instead stressful, disorganized, and far below the standard we expected when booking through this company. Upon returning home, we worked with all 3 companies, and none of them granted us a refund for any portion of the trip.

He did so kindly. Neal is -fast-, courteous, and understand the needs, standards and budget of his clients. Speed is key when trying to book flights. The guy we left dragged his feet, and ticket costs skyrocketed by 1k for first class. If you're a frequent flier like me (Platinum on Delta) here's the value added to using Neal. -the headache of booking, and getting best rooms etc, is his. -at MOST, you pay the same amount as if you booked the trip yourself, but you get more in upgrades, room selection, perks, and of course personalized service. -on anniversaries, he's had everything from chocolates to champagne waiting in the room. We learned the hard way. Use Neal.

When planning a wedding, not everything goes perfectly and this includes the honeymoon. We recently discovered, without notice or warning, that American Airlines had cancelled our flight out of Grenada to Miami. If it wouldn't have been for Neal and his attention to detail, we could have been stuck between a rock and a hard place with limited return options. Since Neal caught the mishap early, he was able to use his expertise to find alternate options and now we will be staying an extra night in Grenada at the same resort for FREE (as well as a resort credit) while carrying over our prearranged travel plans to the following day. We have never met Neal face to face because of our location differences (he's in Atlanta and we reside in Cincinnati) but his professionalism allows him to set up the perfect vacation for all of his customers no matter where they are located. I would highly recommend working with Neal no matter where you reside or what type of travel you are planning if you want it done perfectly. If we would have gone with one of the travel sites, there is not a doubt in my mind that we would have been out of luck with due to the airline's mishap. My fiance and I thank you Neal and we look forward to experiencing our wonderful honeymoon in Grenada!

You will certainly pay to sale your currency back, but at least you re-coop some of your money. On a recent trip to Mexico we bought pesos at the rate of $12.95 pesos to the USD and ended up bringing back a few pesos. After going to my bank Wells Fargo I referred to Altour; which was luckily located next door to my office so it is very nice to just have to walk over this morning and sale the pesos. After an $8 service charge and their exchange rate of $1 USD to $14.86 pesos I only took a loss of $23.21 USD. Not bad considering it will probably be a while before I return to Mexico, so I got a little bit of my money back. Also, I should mention if you are selling your currency back to Altour AMEX is that they do not buy coins; only bills. I've now got $36 pesos in coins as souvenirs to remind me of my trip to Mexico.

It's inside the Lenox Place bldg. Just park upfront and its right there in front. I called about their rates before going there but the next day the Euro had gone up...oh well. I didn't have much of a choice. A guy was in line before me and walked out because he said the Euro was lower when he called the day before....ummm dude...it's going to be the same everywhere. Anyhoo, the lady that helped me was nice and gently explained the fees since I didn't know shit about changing money. Next time I will make sure to change my money at Bofa or any bank 4 days before my trip and if not, American Express on Peachtree Rd will be my go to place for foreign currency exchange! :D

You have to be so close to departure that, if you submit the application on line, you won't get the new ppt in time for the trip. Four stars. The website could have gien more info. 2. Step 2 is applying in person. The appointments are very early in the morning. Mine was for 6:45 am. I got there at 6:30 and they let me in early. Crowd control was pretty smooth. The people I talked to at the window in the lobby and two different windows on the 10th floor were quick, efficient and very professional. Five stars! 3. Step 3 is picking up the new passport. Apparently all the applications submitted in the mornng are processed and returned between 11:00 and 11:30 am. People were already in line when I arrived at 10:30. The guard was shouting instructions like a hall monitor in elementary school. They admit people to the building starting at 11:00 in batches of five. On the 10th floor you get a number like at the DMV and wait in a lobby to be called to a window. They hand them out as the passports are actually printed, not in the order of the numbered ticket they give you. 50 people who came in after me received their passports before I did. Go figure. That said, I had my new ppt and was out the door by 11:30. Four stars. BTW there is metered street parking a few blocks away on Elllis Street, John Wesley Dobbs Ave. (by the GSU law school) and on Peachrtree Center Ave. Update: I received an email Saturday afternoon informing me that the passport I had picked Friday morning was ready for pickup.

However, I had no idea what a treat we were in for. He took the time to get to know us, and designed his curriculum and lessons around our particular needs as a family. Knowing that we would not be able to master Japanese in two weeks, he decided to equip us for context-appropriate conversations: greetings, farewells, asking for directions, ordering food, reading signs, the appropriate way to behave at Shinto Shrines, and so many more things. So he not only taught us about the language, but also about the customs, the religion, and the culture of Japan. The icing on the cake was that he can adapt his teaching style to both adults and children. He kept our children engaged by making the lessons very hands-on. Jeffrey is an outstanding, competent, caring, professional instructor whom we cannot recommend highly enough. Jeffrey, arrogato gozaimashita!
