However,…read morethe reviews seemed positive and as our regular kennel has closed, we were shopping around for an alternative. What we understand now is that the reviews were really about the grooming services this business provides. We dropped off a clean and healthy 6 y/o dog for 3 nights, one who has stayed in area kennels all of her life. We're not sure what happened during her first visit at this particular business. What we got back was a dog that smelled so bad that we had to immediately give her a bath before we could tolerate being near her, which we've never experienced previously. If they had reached out before pick-up to indicate that she was in need of one, that would have been appreciated, although we would have questioned why it was necessary. The second concerning thing was that our dog had loose, liquid stools, didn't want to eat, etc. One large vet bill later and various medications, she returned to normal about 4 days after we retrieved her from the kennel. Never had such an experience from kennelling any dog that we've owned in 35 years. The positive thing that I will say is that we did get a followup call from them and a brief discussion about what they could do for us - that was much appreciated (thus the 2-star rating). As we had already dealt with the health situation and got the dog in with our groomer, we just wanted to put the matter behind us.

We…read moreappreciate that our dogs are free to roam the doggie daycare open space during the day (as long as they integrate well with other dogs). Their drop off and pick up hours are very convenient to hit before or after work. When we pick them up they are always tired out from all of the doggie play. We can leave our dogs here when we go on trips and not feel guilty for leaving them behind. Daycare: we haven't used the daycare only services in a very long time but we did when our doggies were younger. With our first dog we would drop him off to play on days when we did group dog training in the evening. Getting out the rambunctiousness during the day helped him to focus more on training in the evening. We would also do the daycare in days when we were having people over in the evening. The dogs would be so worn out from playing earlier in the day and then when visitors came they weren't wired and jumping for guests attention.
