It's a gas station what more should I say? I know what, this is one of the only places that has RV-dedicated unleaded gas pumps. A lot of Flying J's and Pilots claim to be RV-friendly and that's not true, unless you're pulling an 8-foot popup. But if you're dragging a monster 37-foot travel trailer and pulling into one of those other places - you end up all messed up. Not here. So if you're rolling up or down 95 and need to fill up - come here. read more

Stopped to top off on way home. Spent 30.33 then received a notify of a $266 charge that I did not authorize. I will be contacting authorities. The only use of my card was to tap to pay for gas. The charge was from the automated gas dispenser. Not at all happy. Even more so seeing other reviews mentioning the same issue. read more

Stop charging customers a $151 deposit after they purchase fuel. I used my Truist Visa credit card to buy $22 of gas at the Pilot gas pump. About 10 minutes later, Truist emailed me stating Pilot in St. George charged me an additional $151. I called the store and the employee said it's a deposit fee and you they won't cancel it. I called Truist and Truist said it will take 7-10 business days to dispute the $151 charge. If you want to avoid this headache, buy your fuel somewhere else. Thankfully, it was easy to file complaints on the websites for the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs, Better Business Bureau, and Federal Trade Commission. Have fun dealing with those 3 agencies Pilot! read more

For a Travel Trailer, this is a GREAT Flying J. There are plenty of pumps & so appreciated are the dedicated RV pumps! Also Appreciated is there is plenty of parking so we could have lunch. There is a Denny's attached & a McDonalds next door. There are lots of stalls in the girls room & it was clean. 5+ from me! read more

This particular Flying J is located just off of Interstate 95 and also has a Denny's attached to it. There is a good-sized parking lots oh, so parking is not an issue. They have a little soup bar, which is a nice touch. This particular Flying J could definitely use a facelift. It is showing its age. read more

#14/2024 This Flying J located along the always slammed i-95 corridor. It's pretty much your average flying J. There's nothing that really stands out there's nothing that really stands behind it's like any other flying J however congestion is the key word here gang. This place seems to stay slammed 24/7 not only what truckers but with travelers and a whole lot more. It's like any other flying J for the drivers the parking lot could be a little congested it's got his diesel pump scale showers laundry TV room etc. The employees are fairly cordial couple were a little attitude. But other than that like any other flying J it's pretty much just straight across the board what you would expect. So no need for a big long review I came in I only went to denny's had a nice breakfast and then there was the I got coffee used the can and I was gone. read more

South Carolina gas prices are lower than both North Carolina and Georgia. This is because the state has lower gasoline excise prices. It used to be 18 cents and now I believe it's only 10 cents. On a tank of gas, that can be about as much as a cup of coffee. The station is immediately next to the interstate and because they are also a truck stop, the access is super easy and convenient. It's also easy to get back onto the highway. Main problem today was that the receipt printer at the pump didn't work. Since this wasn't a Get Upside stop, it wasn't a big deal but it might be a problem for you. Like many flying j's and pilot's across the country this location has as many gas pumps not working for 3 months plus. In addition, I saw many have to go inside and prepay at the one's working. Manual input of your rewards number as the scanner is not working. Long line inside as a result, time 930pm. The men's bathroom was overused all day and needed attention. Deferred maintenance still from the pandemic evident outside. I don't know, seems like nice enough staff but hard to believe it's owned by Warren Buffett. No it's not, he doesn't visit many nowadays. read more

Stop to refuel and my transaction was for 52.85 and that is the amount charged to the credit card but in addition to that there was a charge for 500.00 even. I am now disputing with the credit card company the 500 dollar charge. Somehow they got a hold of the cc number inside and did the charge while I was refueling. Not good for business, start making money the right way without being crooks! I get an email from the credit card company right away so I was able to start a dispute immediately. Not sure why Pilot made the charge if the logo in the business is Flying J. Guess what guys, you wont get away with that, the Bank wont pay you Next time I will be 'flying by' and never stopping here period read more

A must needed stop. It was clean, bathrooms were clean and the surrounding vending areas were very clean. The staff was exceptionally nice and very courteous. It was really a very pleasurable stop for us and the dog. read more

Im traveling and prepaid gift cards to make sure I had enough for gas. When I went to purchase gas I asked for 25 on pump 16. The attendant accidentally did 16 on 16. When I pointed out the error the manager just came over and voided the transaction without a word and when the attendant rerang in the correct amount the gift card only showed $9 with the 16 still missing. The attendant grabbed the manager and she advised "well it's a card, those take time to go back on. I'm not sure how long tho" I advised I would've just pumped 16 then 9 if it had been explained that would happen since I don't have a pilot near me normally and this was the last one I was stopping at on my way home. Communication could definitely be better as I now basically have a useless gift card that may be refunded who knows when. read more

This location seems to be lacking hand sanitizer, toilet paper and staff to take the trash out. While the working staff are friendly there's much to desired here. Choices are good but man I just wanted to toilet paper in the restroom and hand sanitizer is minimal on the time of global pandemic... we're all touching things...with hands of people who may or may not have washed their hands ...let's hope they washed bc there was no sanitizing. There wasn't even soap at the employee sink, paper towels no soap...I'm telling ya One star for friendly staff, one for have good ice. I like this gas station for being here at 12:45 am on our way to vacation - the staff was nice, the bathrooms were clean, but the one thing that I didn't like were the prices - gas in SC is cheap, but the food is not. $4 for 2 Bai waters‍ and $2.69 for Taki's? The service at this location leaves something to be desired. Most of the employees act as if they are annoyed when they have to wait on you. There are often long lines of customers. They have a variety of snacks available which is nice but more often than not there are not well stocked. This morning when I stopped to grab a couple of items there were 13 customers waiting in line. The one cashier screamed at everyone telling them that the other cashier could take people as well. As customers split between the two cashiers one of the cashiers was complaining that there were so many people in the store. There are not a lot of other stores in the area which makes this particular flying J a necessary evil. Plan to be in the store for awhile. read more

This fuel stop is poorly set up. Only one RV pump with little turn around space. Anyone filling air will block RVs so they can't get out. Pump did not automatically stop and fuel spilled on the ground. Pump would not accept Good Sam membership number for discount. No paper in pump for receipt. All in all, a bad experience. read more

I really love this gas station has everything I need when I have to make a short stop, I like their pizza deal, love the taste and they have a Cinnabon store with connection to A Denny's if I want something more than just a snack, not only that but honestly the associates have good costumer service, I can't complaint there is always the room for improvement but sincerely I am here to highlight the good of you all because I have experience it! The truck stop is average. But if you are looking for something decent to eat, there is a family owned restaurant "Shugs" just a few blocks away on another side of the road. Very clean and neat, they serve homemade from scratch, hearty, reasonably priced, soul food. We always hear politicians mention a small business being a back bone of America just before the elections. Afterwards, they forget all about it. Why not take the matter in our hands ? I, for sure, rather spend my money on quality food then franchise crap. Don't bother! The pay at pump card reader doesn't work, and when I went inside seems everyone was having the same problem.

Horribly dirty. Several toilets overflowing in men's room no toilet paper. Employees standing around doing nothing. Avoid at all costs.

Stopped for gas and to use the restroom. We like to stop at Truck stops as they are usually clean. This ones woman's restroom was the filthiest I have ever visited. 2 toilets out of order and 2 covered in what you don't really want to know. Only one decent toilet. Sink was missing the faucet. Mop bucket dirty and pushed against the wall. Making note not to stop here in the future as we travel often. read more

It's bad enough that there's not enough parking for us truckers along I-95 but when stops like this continually allow campers/rv's to park in the TRUCK PARKING AREA it makes the problem worse for us. Either pilot flying j needs to put a stop to it or start charging them the same rate as the closest KOA. As for the flying j itself, it's an average place at best. Showers are cleanish and the water is wet. Usually a long line at the fuel pumps if it's daylight. read more
