This place stayed dirty for two days. Had a layover Friday and Saturday. Trash stayed on the floor, the garbage outside was beyond capacity. The employees are too busy talking amongst themselves to pick up anything or just wipe down the counter and the manager didn't seem to care. Told her about the trash overflow. The sign in the reserved parking spots say check in after 4:00 pm. but they wanted us to pay for reserved spot at 10:00am we was only stopping in to have a shower. I moved but I also took a picture of the sig. I didn't feel like ar about it but I don't believe they're supposed to be charging everybody who stops in during the day. read more

This Flying J right off the Route 78 exit 6 off Bethel road is really not much parking spaces available for trucks even during the day before rush hour but I guess its the closest truck stop on 78 before you cross into Memphis, Tennessee. read more

This is one of the most 'out of touch' truck stops I've ever been to. Truck drivers need trucker service providers to understand that truckers don't have the 9 to 5 life style. We need food availability early in the morning. At 4:30am this morning the manager on duty told me Subway opens at 5am. At 5:10am, Subway tells may be 6 or 6:30. Or, when 'somebody' gets here with the key, around 7am. No alternative food available. So I decided to buy water and leave. Register frozen, can't purchase anything. Good looking building the is serving absolutely no purpose. I will never stop here again. My fuel money will go to an establishment that understands their customer. That is certainly not this place. Zero integrity here. Beware, total waste of time. read more

Pitiful, not enough staff to handle the amount of customers they have. An extremely long line, stretching down the one and a half aisles. I give the lady cashier credit, she stayed calm & pleasant, given how many were waiting. A possible manager on the other side of this crowd & in the evening, apparently could not be bothered with helping out. The cook had to come out to help at the cash register. The handicapped stall in the drivers side restroom, women's; doesn't close. Even if you shove it, it does not fit in the frame and no way to lock it. Cleanliness is an issue. Did not see any one cleaning the showers. Hope the cook is not doing double duty; that would be really unsanitary. Subway had some sort of alarm going off in their side of the truck stop. Sounded slightly like a fire alarm, but did not see any smoke. And they were still preparing and selling sandwiches. The sandwich bar itself was less than presentable. One of their staff was on the phone near the entry doorway. Sounded more like a personal call, than concern about the alarm. Two of the fuel islands were taped off. Another had a lift sitting in it. Cleanliness an issue. The parking lot was sad. Lots of trash everywhere and many cans that needed to be emptied. They only have about 51 spots, but drivers were parking in areas three deep, blocking other trucks from being able to leave, or make turns between the isles. Not the greatest place in the world to stay long. Need fuel, it would be quicker to find another source. Overall, this place needs a new manager at the very least. And someone who could keep the place clean and looking good. Spoke with a manager about the cleanliness & lack of door closure on a handicapped stall. (1) They were oblivious to the problem. (2) They are telling me you can close the door, just slam it hard. It does not even fit in the door jam & most handicapped are not able to use that much force & then think about getting out. (3) Cleaning in the drivers' lounge area is not checked regularly, nor were they very concerned. (4) Parking lit, they said they had been busy; knee deep trash takes awhile to build up, so that excuse really did not fly. read more

The Worst Flying J in the United States! I have traveled the country coast to coast by car, many times. And, I have been to a great many Flying J's. This one in Olive Branch is the worst. Easily! The pumps work when they feel like it. Sometimes, they'll take your card, sometimes they won't. Many times there is no paper for receipts. There is only occasionally water in the squeegee buckets. And, there are oil hazards, etc. In fact, on what was my final visit to this Flying J, I had one foot go right out from under me when I slipped on oil that was on the island where the squeegees are kept. Luckily, I maintained my balance. Otherwise, it could have been a very bad fall. I went in to talk to the "manager," this tiny little pipsqueak with badly dyed hair. I told him what happened. He came out, huffed and went back in, saying it was my fault for slipping. Are you freaking kidding me?! I then called after getting home to get the guy's name since I was writing their corporate office a letter, but there was no answer. I did write and got an apology from their headquarters. But, you can be sure that things will not change at this Flying J. The inside is definitely below average for a Flying J. There is certainly less stock and less upkeep. The staff is universally awful. There seems to be a true effort to hire only the most disinterested employees possible. They seem positively bothered to have to check somebody out at the register. Avoid. At all costs! read more

This is the nastiest Flyin J I've been in. Restrooms are filthy with trashcans overflowing. The next morning? Same trash overflowing 13 hrs later. Floors haven't been cleaned in awhile. Dirt and hair stuck to the floor covered in dirt and grime. Decided to use my shower credit so i could use a clean toilet. Walk into the shower room and there's a big hairball on the shower floor. Parking lot is the same. Trash overflowing for at least the 34 hours I was there. I'm a big fan of Pilot/Flyin J but this location is almost comically gross. This place is poorly managed and there's no way the employees are not aware. read more

This is a smaller parking lot so truckers should get here early if they want a spot. The womens restroom is s-m-a-l-l however it was clean and kinda foo-foo'd up. We didn't go to the Subway on site or use the showers but the trucker next to us waited for a shower for over an hour and finally asked the cleaning staff for the shower cleaners and did it himself. Eek. Hopefully an isolated incident. read more

I stop at this place at least twice a week. They have awesome deal of a pizza and six wings for $5! The gas prices are the lowest in MS and Memphis, Always! Good is good, and if you want healthy food, they have a nicely ran Subway. Highly recommend! read more

Spacious lot for CV expediters! Arrived mid-afternoon. Hot deli there with pizza. Typical truck store convenience items (aka high mark ups). Friendly staff. Variety of customers not just logistics drivers. Trees around the lot. Some grassy areas that are pet friendly. Subway inside but I haven't eaten there yet. Clean ladies room with plenty of stalls. Clean floor in travel store. Good space optimization (doesn't feel claustrophobic). Low internet signal in the lot if you're using cellular service read more

Flying J is a safe place on the highway for RVers & Truckers alike. A beacon of home on the dark hwy in the middle of a long trip. They have food, fuel, warm showers & many services for which others can only wish. Large parking lots. Special separate fuel pumps for trucks, rvs and cars. read more
