Why do these stupid jerk wads refuse to put the usual Flying J chairs in their TV room? You have to sit at those tables with those very hard uncomfortable bench seats. So there's a whole lot of space with no seats. It has been this way for at least 2 years. On top of that there is no restaurant in this place. Except for that crap PJ not so fresh stuff. And the equally crappy roller stuff. Well at least you can walk across the street where there is a pizza place (Marcos) Chinese take out type of place, bbq place, and a Mexican restaurant. read more

Neither friendly nor helpful. 1/30/22 at 2:45 pm. Brenda on register was told the cheese was out for nacho machine. Went to get new cheese. Two splats came out old bag in the machine. She returned new cheese to storage. Next customer will have the same problem. Not lazy, just not helpful. Won't keep spending outrageous amounts at Pilot. At least make it worth my while. read more

Everyone here is always so nice. I like the variety of hot food ordered which includes a variety of pizza, burgers, chicken wings and tenders, chicken sandwiches, tater tots, Mac n cheese and more. And I must say the Mac n cheese is delicious! I would have never thought it'd be that good. Flying J now offers combos too. Two slides and wings or wings/tenders and a side. All the food here is good as a matter of fact. They also offer a variety of fountain drinks, and coffee including *gasp* my beloved iced coffee which I'm IN LOVE with the fact I can make mine the way I like it. I like mine light and sweet (lots of cream). Store prices are generally higher than other gas stations in the area but it's to be expected since it's literally a travel center. Location is quite convenient as well, right off of exit 19 convenient to El Tapatio (yum btw.) read more

I feel weird leaving a review on a gas station.. err actually, more like a truck stop ... but i figured to those of you weary travelers going down the long stretch of I-20 W heading towards Alabama (or the opposite way) I think you should know that Flying J (or the Pilot truck stop across) has THE lowest gas prices you will find in a while. So if you see the sign, go ahead and fill up here! i always look for this gas station, but i rarely find them! this location is open 24 hrs and it has a Denny's inside.. perfect after a long trip on the road! read more

Cursory clean convenience store. Quite a few out of stock items. Deli area had salads & not much else. What was there had been there a while & did not look that good, bordering on bad. The pizza display was empty and needed a good cleaning. Coffee area appeared clean. One of the latte/cocoa machines was out of order. The driver lounge large & clean. Restrooms in shower area passable. Sink faucet not stable when using. Very loose, no caulking on base of unit. However trash appeared to have been recently emptied. Only one cashier/stocker on duty this morning. No one else in the area. And he was moving slow, but he was pleasant. No smiles... Parking lot large and well maintained. One shower fellow in back, reserved, but pleasant. read more

TRUCKER REVIEW: Showers are great and it's close to a big grocery store chain, Chinese food, VAPE SHOP, Mexican food, really good chiropractor and a massage place. Reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it seems that they don't have enough staff and the lines are long. read more

This Flying J is very nice . The store is well stocked . Have the PJ Fresh Deli. Everything looked very good . No restaurant but there are plenty in walking distance along with a grocery store. Showers were very clean & spacious .Employees are very friendly & helpful including the manager. Parking lot is very large with lots of lights . read more

First of all, the truck parking was clean and spacious...of course it was Thanksgiving so maybe the lack of trucks reflected that. Inside, the restrooms were clean. The biggest downers are that there is not a restaurant food option and the truck stop itself was nearly out of food options. Nothing on the rollers...not that those are great, but it would have been "something". No salads, no sandwiches, no pizza... There was one burger and some wings. We probably won't come this way often, so this may be my only review of this location. If we happen to come back thru, I'll update. read more

This was our first overnight RV experience at a Pilot. We stopped just after 10pm. The manager Theresa was great. Let us return a power strip converter after we discovered it wouldn't work with my Mac. Quiet night - given the setting. We had earplugs. Next morning had coffee and breakfast sandwich. Although the Cinnabon "dealer" tried to tempt us!! Bathrooms clean. Would not recommend the attached Wendy's. PS. Had a muffler issue and drove across the lot to the Goodyear tire shop and a gentleman reattached it (and secured it) on the spot in less than 15 min. read more

Super clean, nice staff, remodeled showers. Only drawback, no resteraunt. But there are deli foods like pizza, chicken fingers, boiled eggs, fruits in a cup (typical PJ Fresh). Plenty of reseraunts across the street though, and a nail place and Ingles grocery store less the 1/2 mile with 2 Redboxes. Lot fits over 100 trucks. read more

First in for most I want to say pilot and flying J have the best coffee on the interstate! (Excluding the fake ones that have Dunkin' Donuts coffee!) Shower number 6 needs some serious help. It took two hands and the assistance of the washcloth to even turn the water on. Once I got it on water was spraying out of every single side of the showerhead. Not just from the front like normal, it was spraying out of the back and all around the sides. They only put one towel in the showers. It is difficult to run anyone down to get another one. This shower attendant actually walked straight past me and did not offer me a second towel like they normally do when they see I have long hair. (The $0 tip reflected my annoyance with that.) also for some reason their showers not just here but across the United States seem to have the thermostat set at -17°. I'd like to be warm when I get out of the shower but that is never an option with this outfit. Often I bring my own hair dryer and leave it running as a heater; then it is tolerable. read more

Very spacious both out on the lot and inside. No hot deli counter; their newly installed glass display etc won't be filled until next Saturday. Very friendly staff. My fiancé took my miniature pinscher outside for exercise and she had over an acre to explore. The trees muffle traffic which is back about half an acre. There is a strip mall less than 300 feet from the entrance to Flying J where you can eat at the restaurants. No TT parking at that strip mall FYI. The Pilot Truck Stop is located on the same side of the strip mall but further down that little road. We didn't stay there since my fiancé informed me that "it's a dump," with limited hours at their Wendy's, and "nasty" dirty both inside and outside. We run live loads 25/7/365 so we're familiar with truck stop uncleanliness, so that Pilot will not be reviewed by me. If you're on the Atlanta Board and are tired of the Petro on Don Hollowell, Park it over at this Flying J and get ready to enjoy a quiet stay with no beggars, lot lizards, or peddlers banging on your vehicle window/door or loitering outside to harass you in any way. read more

Don't come here if you're in a hurry...the lines are usually long (same for the Pilot across the street) plus the pumps I swear use dial-up to verify your credit card--so slow!! Terrible beer selection! Go down the street to the Marathon for faster service (higher gas prices but cheaper beer). read more

wow. ok im a truck driver so i go to lots of truck stops around the country. i usually stay away from flying j/ pilot because they are known to be the worst as far as cleanliness is concerned. this was the cleanest and best store ive been too. lots of parking, lots of showers. showers were clean too. floors were clean. all of these employees that work at this store deserve a raise. hell they even have 'thank you drivers' 'come back soon' 'we love our drivers' written on the windows! so welcoming and that is what is missing at most other truck stops. i dont even have a yelp account but made one because im amazed at how different this store is! keep it up, i will definitely stop by again! read more

My RV was towed from the Temple Flying J because they had a manager in training named Montera who instead of asking what SOP was decided just to wing it. When I explained I needed to leave it for a few days & why I asked her 2 times if I needed to leave my name & number. Both times I was told it was not necessary. When I came to retrieve RV & it had been towed the manager Stefani informed me I had been misinformed by Montera & call corporate. They were nice & said I should absolutely not be responsible for towing fee & risk management would be on touch w in 48 hrs. 2 days later I called directly to risk management as I had heard nothing. My previous complaint had not been filed so I had to go through it all again. Spent next 4 days playing phone tag w adjuster. He refused to pay to get RV released. Montera lied & said I told her it would only be for a few hours. He kept repeated "well Montera said". Basically calling me a liar by inferring that she could not possibly be lying to save her job because she screwed up. So therefore I have to be the one lying. If they had audio on the store they would have heard conversation but they dont. After being told by 3 people it would be taken care of I was waiting for them to get RV released. Well now its costing me 855$ because they refuse to pay it because Montera is a flat out liar. THANK YOU MONTERA. read more
