Guess the "24-hour pharmacy" sign must only apply to other CVS locations, because this one definitely isn't. When a pharmacy advertises 24 hours, the whole point is the convenience of getting medication when you need it--not when it happens to be open. The CVS app is advanced enough to tell me my prescription is ready, but apparently not advanced enough to flag that the pharmacy isn't actually open. So instead of convenience, I get a locked door and wasted time. If you're going to advertise 24 hours, either mean it, or fix your app and signage so people don't show up frustrated with sick kids. read more

For the sake of convenience, I switched to this Pharmacy about nine months ago, and I have received nothing but sub-par customer service from the staff there since then. My comments refer to the support staff, not the pharmacists, as I have not interacted much with them. Based on my experience, the staff there behave professionally enough to avoid being accused of being rude. Still, they are unpleasant enough for you to understand their annoyance or displeasure with you whenever it suits them. For me, this happened anytime I had a question or an issue with my prescriptions. These issues or questions are nothing that I have not had to bring up at other pharmacies, but I have rarely received the same treatment. My first thought was to complain to corporate, but as I read reviews for this Pharmacy here and other places online, I see by the comments and ratings that I'm far from being the only one who has been a victim of their unprofessional behavior, which corporate must already be aware of. I'm not even going to give the minute clinic inside of CVS a star because the doctor there was extremely rude to me during my appointment with my son. I have never been treated so horribly I was treated horribly because I was not able to get my 12-year-old son to take a strep throat test when they could clearly see during the examination that he has strep throat. he was not treated for his strep throat. We were asked to leave right away in a very rude way by the doctor at the MinuteClinic in Cvs. I highly suggest not going there because you will be treated like crap. If you don't do what they ask of you to do and I would not suggest taking your kid there at all. They are fast and responsive when another CVS is slow to inform of filled prescription just before closing. We could not get to our normal CVS. Villa Rica CVS was able to fill same day and had two prescriptions filled in 20 minutes. Mandy who took the call stated it would be over an hour. My husband and I appreciate them so very much. I am grateful for the quick turnaround from a medical standpoint and could not thank them enough. If I had the original Lady's name who tried to transfer earlier I would mention her. Our CVS played games until just before closing the pharmacy and I had to get the Supervisor of the store involved. I hate that but they had them filled and just didn't let me know. Should be 0 stars. This is the absolute worst cvs. I had pictures printed and I did them online, and picked up in store. The woman was immediately rude to be asking my name with an attitude, and then getting irritated that I had a attitude back. I then checked out and went back to the restroom, being 37 weeks pregnant I really had to go. I waited and waited and pulled both doors, and then a worker came out of one and kept telling me I couldn't use the employee bathroom. There was NO sign saying employee bathroom, so that's why I pulled on the door. She was very adamant that I know I had to use the other bathroom, like had a minute long conversation with me while I was flipping through my pictures that looked awful and standing waiting for the bathroom. And I'm so pregnant, that I know she could tell then a teenage boy came out from the bathroom, left the toilet seat up, and had just got done smoking weed. I was livid. I hate people. I hate CVS. Has even told me that in one case this doc can't write scripts for this medication, well do you know how embarrassing it is to have a doc tel u that in front of everyone especially when I always get my scripts from this doc and have never had any issues . I received a text that one of my medications were ready to be picked up. I called 3 separate times over the course of an hour and a half to try and make sure my other medicine was ready too. Each time I got a recording that said no one in the pharmacy was available. After waiting for 1 hour and 7 minutes in the drive thru, behind 5 other vehicles , I got to the window to find out that my insurance would not cove my second prescription. I get text from CVS about everything from flu shots to Prostate exams at the Minute Clinic. But they cannot text me that they are not filling my prescription. They have the worst customer service thru the drive thru of anyone I know. That includes the Villa Rica McDonalds. read more

And I advised that they were new from my doctor and the automated information said there were 3. She says She doesn't see them, but that she needed to check someone else out. Okay. Afterwards. she says she is waiting on my doctor bc I didn't have any refills left. I told her again that these are new prescriptions that my doctor just called it in. I ask what is needed to fill the prescription and the woman says I can wait in the consult line if I need assistance. Waited for 20 minutes, the original woman is now doing nothing, there is no one to check out, and a long line at consult / drop off because the woman helping the customer is trying to explain to an insurance company that she needs to set up the customer for home delivery and is waiting on hold. I just need the pharmacy to tell me what they are waiting on so I can call either my insurance or my doctor and let them know. The incompetence of the people that work here knows no bounds. I have not had very good luck with them the past several times that I had to get my kiddos medicine. I dropped off the prescription, told it would be ready in 1.5/2 hours, went back, still didn't have it ready. Waited for another 30 minutes and was told that they actually didn't have the medicine at all and I could come back tomorrow or I could call to find it at other nearby pharmacies... I had to call?? I went to the pharmacy in Villa Rica to transfer my scripts from Carrollton CVS to Villa Rica. The women at the counter told me that I had to wait until the other CVS called saying my order was ready and then ask them to transfer to the Villa Rica pharmacy. I did exactly as she said and when CVS Carrollton called saying my order was ready, they told me I had to contact Villa Rica. What? So I just spent 15 minutes on hold and finally gave up. They do not answer phones or I always wait on hold forever. Very slow to fill meds. I went to their minute clinic and although the lady was extremely nice, I had to go back 3 times to get cured of my cold. They can't just refill anything without you being seen and do not answer any follow up calls despite my calling multiple times. The 2nd visit to the clinic I asked her to give me a refill just in case it wasnt enough to kill the bacteria, but she didnt. Low and behold I had to go back that 3rd time for that refill. Ughhh. Also she never looked in my ears, felt my glands etc. It was not a detailed exam. Paying 3 copays plus all the cost of meds was expensive. read more

This place is horrible. 0 stars if I could select. Doctors call in prescriptions for their patients and they do whatever they can, not to fill the prescriptions. Leaving the patient to call the pharmacy and their doctors multiple times to try to resolve the issue. Pain medication is medically necessary for many patients and why it exists in the pharmacological field. Doctors see patients and determine courses of treatment. Not everyone using medication is a drug addict. Unfortunately due to the buy out of a large insurance company by CVS it seems there is no incentive to provide good service. I have been hung up on, told medications were ready when they were not, told they would not fill the medication my doctor sent over etc. subpar and a part of why the system is broken. They are not interested in their customer satisfaction or customer health. Without proper medication patients conditions deteriorate and they then further tax our medici system in other ways. I.e in the emergency room, taking up hospital beds, requiring more extensive diagnostics from worsening conditions etc. read more

I mostly agree with everyone else. The pharmacy here isn't at the level it should be. First it's pretty slow we came to pick up baby medicine at the pharmacy and it took 20 minutes. Second, at the pharmacy I had h lop from two people. The first one was rude and always frowned which is not how it should be and the second time I was ok, she wasn't mean but she wasn't very nice. We also had to get a few groceries here and that was nicer hence the extra star. CVS has a limited supply of options (at the store not pharmacy) but what it does have has a lot of variety. My wife and I were at home and she received a text that her prescription was ready for her to come and pick up. It is for swelling and pain. She drove 12.5 miles on way to pick up. Not only did they not have it, the young lady that called us earlier, walked a few feet away and sent a text to my wife telling her that the order was not ready. Edie,my wife called her over and questioned her. The girl showed her the text and walked away. The young man at the counter was polite and could not believe how the young lady was. The counter boy called the pharmacists to assist and she too would not hold herself nor anyone else accountable for this mistake. We are moving our business to another Pharmacy and because we have lived in this community for 35 years, we will suggest to anyone who listens to avoid this poorly run store.
