I gave them a call and had Tim out for an estimate. He was a really nice guy and very knowledgeable. By the end of the day, I had a fantastic quote, which was very reasonable for the work. The guys came out, as scheduled, and removed the requested trees in no time at all. Cut them down, removed all the branches and such, and then grinder down the stumps with a really cool remote machine. They were also very nice and did an amazing job! Our understanding is that this tree must be trimmed after there is frost because of infestation concerns. We verbally agreed on a price and assumed the service would be done in December or Jan. weather permitting. We were out of town for part of the winter but we called in Jan., Feb. and March to ask why the work had not been done. We left messages - calls never returned. When I called in the spring when we returned to ask what had happened I was told they had never received our signed contract back. This was the first we had heard of a contract. WE NEVER RECEIVED ANY TYPE OF CONTRACT TO SIGN. These old trees are valuable and we know they need care. That is why we called in the first place. On my last call I spoke to Brian?. He said he would check into it and call me back. He never called. Now we must wait until next winter to have this tree cared for as it should have been last year. WE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY POORLY RUN AND POOR BUSINESS MEN! By the way, the first time we used Bode we did not ever receive paperwork prior to the work bing done.
