I would not recommend. They do not respect the property they are working on. From equipment breakdowns stranding trucks in the yard for like 6 days, and workers driving their cars on neighbor lawns who are not part the contracted service, even when the street is just 10 feet away. There is no reason for such callous lack of respect. read more

The storm that came through knocked down the tree in our backyard onto the roof of our house. We contacted Castro's Tree Service late evening and they came out promptly to assess the situation. They were back at the house first thing in the morning with all the equipment needed to remove the tree and debris. They provided outstanding service! If I could give 0 stars, I would. We had an appointment set for more than 2 days after we called for an estimate. I gave a 90 minute window and after that time went by, we called the company to have the proprietor call 45 minutes later and ask if we could reschedule, for more than 7 hours later. Given the large amount of work we needed done, we obliged. After the 2nd no show of the day, we called the business and they seemed completely inattentive to the fact we took time off of work for them to come by for a quote which never happened. It was not a simple "1 tree" deal, but rather 7-8 trees that needed trimming. It's a shame that business owners portray their own businesses in this manner. A simple phone call stating that they need to reschedule an appointment is not a hard task to accomplish, and if it is, then that proprietor shouldn't be in business. read more

These guys did a great job when I needed a stump removed. They were prompt, efficient, and quoted me a lower price than any of the other companies I called. There was a bit of an issue squeezing the stump grinder through a narrow space and they handled it really well. I had 3 box elder trees to be removed. They were near the house and to power lines. Castro's had a worker in a cherry picker who carefully cut the branches and lowered them down to other workers who cleared the area of branches and kept it safe. I couldn't have been happier with their work. Price was excellent and they left the area cleaner than before they came. Workers were hard working, friendly and cheerful.
