Came here to buy a vape during my lunch break at work. My driver's license was revoked during COVID (for DUI) so I only have a license that says "Under 21" even though my actual age is 26 years old. I'm from the Bay Area in California- the home of vaping- and while visiting my sis in NY I started having problems with my old but formerly trusty pro tank 2 so I visited this small, but amazingly well stocked store. Tony, who runs the operation, treated me to a first class experience and with great patience and humor fitted me out with a new Aspire tank which exactly meets my needs and is a fine upgrade to my vaping outfit. Do not come here for cigars. Red dots are $23, cigars that cost $4 are $10, if she doesn't know how much a cigar costs she will pull a number out of her as if we don't have access to the internet and don't know the value of the cigar. The prices of the padrons are even more sad, Padron does not allow price manipulation like this and they should have their ability to sell them taken away. This is all after the fact that the humidor is maybe 85f with 80+ RH feeling like Florida. VERY sketchy business... I go in there asking for disposable vapes. they sell me one for $25 (WAY overpriced but whatever). My friend went back to the same store days later and they claimed "they did not sell the vapes she wanted because they are illegal." Meanwhile, they had just sold them to me a few days ago. Went in to see what was available and the Woman behind the counter must be hitting all the vape pens since the first words out of her mouth were "How old are you" as soon as I set foot in the door, not "how can I help you" or "Need help finding anything" like most shops. I explained that I was 22 while I handed my ID and the next 60 seconds were completely surreal and I think some brain cells were lost. She blatantly stared at my ID while asking "When was the last time you were here" I was extremely confused and had to explain that I was there several months ago, not exactly sure why that is a question in the first place. Than she put a cherry on top of the terrible customer experience Sundae by saying that MY CERTIFIED NEW YORK STATE ID is fake and said the person on it looks different (picture was taken when I was in 11th grade so it will obviously look different) I asked for my ID back and was even trying to be nice after but I can tell she wanted me out of the store. Never have I had felt so uncomfortable before. If the owner is reading this review please make an attempt at teaching your employee's how to treat customer's. read more
