DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The cleaner they sent us yesterday stole our passports , a considerable amount of money and several valuables having 'rummaged' through our drawers. She even left the travel wallet this was all in under our cat litter tray!! We instantly contacted Fantastic Services. Their response was totally appalling. When I asked them if they could contact the cleaner I was told that they subcontract the cleaners and so they are unable to take any action, that all they can do is to inform customer services who would contact the subtractors. I said that I had thought that they knew who they were sending to us as I had been promised that their employees were vetted and referenced. I asked to speak to his manager and he said he "did not have one" despite me saying that all employees have someone to report to. He said all he could do for me was to contact customer services to lodge my complaint, he was unable to put me through to them. I explained that this was not 'a complaint' but a crime which we had already reported to the police and that as they use contractors they should also be calling the police to file a crime. We have been unable to provide the police with the cleaners name as apparently they are "not allowed to give the cleaners names out". There is no direct number for customer services, the number on their website goes straight to the same line for bookings with the option to leave a message for customer services which I did. I was then contacted via watsapp for a 'conversation', when I explained the situation I did not get any response. My partner did the same and he also did not get a response. Since then I have left several voicemails with no reply. This company is completely dismissive of the fact that a crime has been committed and see it as a 'customer service' complaint. The cleaner that was sent to us, whom we totally trusted stole not just money and valuables but our passports too. The company did not act on this or take it seriously, we have not had a call back from their customer service department despite being told that they had been informed, not even to confirm that they have received this information. This company is appalling, why are they unable to tell us who they sent? and have they not vetted them? How is it that I cannot contact Customer Services and I cannot even speak to a manager just a 'salesperson' as he called himself. Not to mention that he was incredibly rude and totally disinterested in what I was saying or what I was reporting. There was no way to speak to anyone senior to him. Apart from the obvious loss of valuables and money, my daughter and myself are now unable to travel abroad as we were due to next week to see my father who is ill and who we have been unable to see for 2 years due to covid. I recently had the misfortune of using "Fantastic Services" for what was supposed to be a deep clean of my new home before moving in, and I cannot stress enough how disappointing and frustrating the entire experience has been. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before hiring this company. The Initial Service: We opted for the deepest clean possible, expecting a thorough job that would leave our home spotless and ready for us to move in. Instead, what we received was a surface-level clean that left dirt, stains, and dust in numerous areas. Despite the initial clean looking somewhat acceptable on the surface, it became evident that the service was far from "fantastic" as soon as we inspected beyond the visible areas. The Re-Clean Disaster: After expressing our dissatisfaction, "Fantastic Services" offered a re-clean. However, instead of sending a different, more competent team, they sent the same cleaners who had already failed to meet the standard. This re-clean was equally subpar, with the cleaners again missing spots that should have been addressed the first time. What made matters worse was the misleading information provided by their customer service team, who assured us that a different team would be sent, which turned out to be completely false. Misleading and Unprofessional Customer Service: The customer service experience was perhaps the most aggravating part of this ordeal. We were repeatedly lied to, given false promises of call-backs and solutions that never materialized. One of their representatives even had the audacity to tell me to "think logically" when I expressed frustration about waiting in my car for four hours with all my belongings, only to be told that no new cleaning team was coming. Refusal to Provide Adequate Compensation: Despite providing clear photographic evidence of the poor service, "Fantastic Services" refused to offer a fair refund, instead offering a fraction of the service cost or useless company credit. This offer is an insult considering the compounded inconvenience, stress, and additional expenses caused by their failure to deliver the service promised. They even closed my complaint without compensation when I declined their inadequate offer. Conclusion: If you are looking for a reliable, professional cleaning service, avoid "Fantastic Services" at all costs. Their lack of attention to detail, misleading customer service, and refusal to provide fair compensation for their numerous failures are clear indicators of a company that does not value its customers. I used this company for handyman work and cleaning services. I will be true and not biased here. Cleaning: It was really fast to book a regular cleaning service plan. I usually received a call within 30 mins when I wanted to make changes to the plan. It was also easy to reschedule the cleaning service. The price was relatively cheap compared to other cleaning service providers. However, every time there was a new cleaner for the weekly session which made me have to show them where the cleaning supplies were etc. Some cleaners cleaned my 2 bedroom flat for just a bit over 1 hour and the minimum hours were 2 hours. I was overall fine with the cleaning services provided by Fantastic service. Handyman work: I used the service for 3-4 times. I was happy with the kitchen extractor fan cleaning, fixing the toilet seat and the window cleaning service. Fantastic service did offer me a discount of 30 pounds which was great however the handyman service was actually overpriced, around 86 pounds. It is very expensive compared to the ones of the task rabbit. But I used the discount for both window cleaning jobs and kitchen extractor fan cleaning so It was fine. I paid 86 pounds for fixing the toilet seat. The way Fantastic Service handled my complaint: I used the handyman service again for the kitchen extractor fan however Fantastic service made a mistake to book an appointment (because they don't have tradespeople for this job). At the beginning I filed a complaint and I wasn't satisfied with the progress. So I left my reviews to reflect my experience. 2 hours later a senior customer service manager called me on the phone saying that it was their fault and he was willing to refund me for the full amount plus 25 pound credit. It took them 2 days to rectify this mistake. In conclusion, Fantastic service does read the reviews (including the complaints) and want to make things right for their customers. Fantastic Services Not: More like 'FANTASTIC STICKY FINGERS'. I have used them for a few years for carpet cleaning for quick easy end of tenancy cleans. I have another service I use when I need a deep clean - that's a clue right there that I should have taken note of. I was persuaded to sign up to their Club Membership and thought this was a safe bet - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. In return for an annual fee and spending money with them, they tell you that you get credits to use towards other jobs. Although it turns out you can't use the credits for anything and the credits disappear from your account - its a total scam. I've spent thousands with them but alas - no credits. The handyman job that they came to do was terrible done by an untrained person who had no skills in the area he was supposed to be an expert in, another scam artist and pretty much ruined my kitchen. They took extra money off my card that was not due, despite the handyman being there for less time than I paid for. Five times in the last 8 months they took money from me that was not due - the last time they refused to pay it back and I had to get Lloyds to open a case for me and to get involved to get the money back for me and to get the job completed half decently. Before Lloyds got involved they were not even responding to me. Bad workmen, bad communication, bad customer service and extremely sticky fingers. Not only have they stolen money from my credit card, I am also now owed £459 pounds in credits to use with their company that I can't use because they have been disappearing and now they have decided that there are only a few services that the credits can be used for. The Club Membership is a scam - I'm warning you do not do it - it is a ruse to get an annual fee off you and get you to book in substandard tradesman and services that they employ for cheap. read more

I spent a long time to decide whether I should go ahead with the gardening services. In the end I signed up (I did not want to choose the membership for £79 but there was no option to opt out). The overall quote was fair and I put three tasks to complete. On the day, the 2 guys were polite enough. The 1st task (hedge cutting took just under 2 hours). With tidying up it was another 15 minutes or so. I actually made a mistake and thought I only had booked 2 hrs. I mentioned the second task which was to trim the top of my small tree. As I had to work at my desk I was not able to tell if this was done. The hedge cutting was good. But the part I was most unhappy is the waste removal, £90 (2 bags). Personally I felt the waste could have been condensed in one bag and for sure it would be do-able if the branches had been cut into half. With hindsight I would have done this myself and would have saved £90 and probably would take me about an hour max. Furthermore, I actually did pay for 3 hours (not the 2 I had thought) so there was ample time for this to occur. The third task I mentioned on the booking form was not completed. So in the end, the cost rose considerably (ie no longer competitive) and some tasks not fulfilled. Now I have also paid for the £79 membership which made the cost not competitive at all, in fact very expensive and I am now hesitant to consider anything else with this company, and thus I paid the membership for nothing (not that I wanted to be a member in the first place) read more

I have never dealt with a dedicated domestic maintenance service before but have some familiarity with removal providers when I moved into my first place a couple of years and they were all a complete nightmare to deal with. What a breath of fresh air Fantastic Services were. Firstly, arranging the job is ever so simple. None of this extortionate premium number malarkey, you can either book your desired service online or give them a call on a landline number. Preferring to speak to someone, I called in and was greeted by a first-rate customer service team who were friendly, well-informed, incredibly clear and very, very helpful. In no time, my request to have a double bed and mattress removed from my property was booked in and confirmed, with a follow-up email reiterating all the key details. And then, a few weeks later, the Fantastic Services team arrived at my apartment to carry out the job. Unlike other bigger companies, they were actually in a position to confirm a two-hour arrival window with me so I wasn't waiting around for ages, they turned up bang on time and were in and out of my place in a blink of an eye. Literally, that's how efficient they were. Plenty of smiles, no mess whatsoever, disposed of all the unwanted furniture capably and professionally, no problems whatsoever. Job reference number: 22111607KOKO The so-called handyman was supposed to assemble one small working desk on 17 November 2022. The agreed price was £78 and one hour of work. However, he did not know how to assemble the desk. The step-by-step manual did not help. It took him 2 and half hours, with my help and finally he did some sort of work. But then the final bill was £183, a complete rip off! There is nothing Fantastic with Fantastic Services, except that they will send you someone who does not know how to do the job and then you must help them and then expect to pay more. He wanted to leave after the first hour and leave the desk semi-assembled, he did not use all the parts to assemble the desk (I have extra parts left) and he completely ignored the assembly manual. It was a complete chaos! UPDATE (29-11-2022): The customer service contacted me after I have posted my review and made the full refund. I appreciate that but the damage done on the desk is still there. Hence, even though they have a good post-sale customer service, they have an issue with people who are providing a service you pay for. For that reason, it is difficult to recommend them as damage on the furniture has been done and is irreversible. On top of that, this is not my first negative experience with them, so I doubt they have a proper specialist working for them - but it looks like they do a random selection of people who claim to have certain skills (no real checks or tests). read more

Not so 'fantastic' at all. The two guys that showed up to take my personal belongs off to store somewhere unknown to me, were miserable and unhelpfuI. Their communication skills were zero - no one needs a song and dance but at least perhaps a smile and able answer more than an inaudible grunt. if I wasn't on a deadline to get my stuff taken to store I would have cancelled their service. Once they were done (and it was a very easy job for these guys as it was all packed and stacked ready to load straught on) they literally just drove off, leaving me with no paperwork or reassurance that my possessions were in trustworthy hands. I tried to phone the offices to speak with someone to get some reassurance of where my stuff had gone and that it would be looked after - and all I got was recorded answers and told to leave a message. once someone finally did call me back they had the same attitude as their drivers and laberours - no help at all - this company seemingly dowant understand the value of 'customer care' - which for a business like this where it is so relevant - is just a joke really to be honest. I am using Fantastic mostly for big jobs like move out cleaning and removals because we used to have a local cleaner for the weekly cleans. Yesterday was our third and last(hopefully) time moving out because we finally bought our own place. They did the cleaning in both properties and managed to dismantle, move and reassemble all furniture in 5 hours, they might have been a little loud though. I have also booked them to pack almost everything except for the clothes and cosmetics, they were very respectful and well organized. The price could have been a bit lower, but I can not fault the service itself. The only annoying thing is that when I had to call to settle the invoices I had to go through their automated system instead of speaking with someone directly, which I would have preferred because I was in a hurry. Going further we are considering trying out their gardening service, right after we get back from the holiday since now we are proud owners of a small garden. read more

Fantastic Services helped me when I was moving to Glasgow. I hired them for an end of tenancy cleaning. I was really worried about my money deposit. The team who arrived on the day of the service was from two cleaning ladies. They had a list with everything they had to clean. In four hours the three-bedroom flat looked like it was brand new and no one has lived there for more than five years. I was totally impressed by their attention to detail! If I have to be honest I didn't expect such a great result but I was very surprised at the end. As I am a bit over precised I thought that I would have to ask them to clean some spaces more than once. Fortunately, at the end I couldn't find anything cleaned less than perfect. Fantastic Services turned to be an amazing company in London. I really regret that I hadn't hired them before. I was with this company for over a year and had nothing but anguish and frustration! They have a great app, but their cleaners are very poor, particularly when it comes to ironing, which was the main service that I needed! Today, I decided to stop using them even though I renewed the annual membership, because they cancelled my cleaning session without notifying me! They confirmed it two days ago, then cancelled without any notification! When I called to enquire why my cleaner is not coming, they insisted that I requested the cancellation, which is simply not true! There was no apology, just insistence that I requested it, even though I repeatedly told them that I did not! Outrageously defensive and unprofessional behaviour! So Bad they should be called "USELESS DAMAGING SERVICES" I booked the supposed FS for a garden tidy and clean last year. However they sent 2 guys who were very sweet but had NO idea about gardening. The first guy cut down my prized Ceonothus tree which had taken me 5 years to grow!!! Literally cut it in half. Cost me over £200 to buy a new one. The second guy swept up a load of mud and soil, and decided it would be a great idea to sweep it down my drain! Completely blocking it up and causing me to have to get someone in to clear the drain and unblock it. Using these people cost me about £300 on top of the very expensive £150 for an hours work which I refused to pay in light of the damage they caused. They now want to sue me for not paying and are threatening to take me to court etc etc for non payment. Really dodgy awful service. To be avoided at all costs!!!! read more

I have used Fantastic Services on six different occasions now for three different services - handyman, oven cleaning and carpet cleaning. I have been very happy with the results. You are given a quote so you know exactly what you will be charged. On one occasion I had asked for a quote to clean a double oven. When the cleaners arrived they told me that it wouldn't be as much as I only had a single oven! I thought they were very honest and professional and did a very good job. They are usually on time and if they are running late then they call you and let you know. I feel confident about using Fantastic Services and I am more than happy to recommend them. read more

Been using these guys for my regular cleaning for years now, a few maids have changed over the years but overall I am super happy with the cleaning standard, their customer service and the ease of use of their app. I can cancel, change or skip a cleaning session whenever I want. Good value for money too, last time I checked with a friend, it's a nightmare to find a decent cleaner nowadays. Once a month I have my windows cleaned and whenever she has time she cleans my fridge too, changes bed linen and all that. We started using Fantastic services when our tweens were born because we needed constant help around the house. It did take us some time to find the right cleaner for us, but after that things have been great.For the regular cleaner, I would give 4 stars, due to the initial hassle until we found the right one. In the past 2 years, we have used them for gardening, carpet cleaning and oven cleaning this week. We needed a removal service at very last minute as the removal company we booked didn't turn up. I phoned them up in a bit of a panic and the gentleman on the phone was really helpful, asked us all the questions to get a good picture of what needed to be moved m, and then let us know they could move us at 2pm that day! The removal men turned up early and we so friendly and helpful. They didn't want us to help at all and were quite happy just getting on with it themselves. nothing was too much trouble!
