The wait after ordering was no more than 15 minutes, then they handed us a giant bag and we realized we may have made a mistake....we each got our own order of fish and chips and the servings are gigantic! I mean, I'm not complaining as it was delicious, but we certainly could have shared. We also got a battered pizza (yeah, that's right, fried pizza!). Even after the walk back to our lodging, everything was still nice and hot. There is no seating inside so this is strictly a take-out joint, and the only parking available is on the street, though the restaurant was quite busy on our visit and the street was not too crowded. Prices are incredible and if we had had a longer stay, I am sure we would have frequented Mcleods more than once. If I lived in Inverness it would be a go to spot for sure!

I spoke to a young lady, who more than addressed the situation by providing a credit which I could go for. I could not go then so I went this week. On a day the lady I mentioned was working. If the pub is full, please find your way to the end of the bar and the small door to the left that takes you to the cosy table service room where Jess and other wait staff, including little Nala, will take the best care of you.
