I was a walk in client. I read a few reviews and the few pics were good. $60 later, I've never had a worst experience. First I showed a picture and the lady said ok, design would be someone else, cool. But she took over an hour and I didn't have time. I paid and ran out. Then I seen my nails. I called and set an appointment for the soonest I could. TO FIX MY NAILS. When I showed up for this appointment they tried to give me the same tech. When I showed the owner my nails, the owner won't admit her tech messed up. None of my nails are shaped or smoothed properly, none are the same length or thickness. She then accused me of wanting a redo only because whatever party I got them for was over. She grabbed my arm and tried to pull me across the shop to ask a hair client if she (70+) thought they were ok. I would avoid this place like a bad ex boyfriend. So rude and uncomfortable. read more

Very disappointed in service today the technician did a terrible job on my nails they are flat in spots the shaping is horrible and she slipped while filing down my dip nails and made me bleed. I have been going to Focus for over three years but last 2 times I have been in have been very substandard service. Still charged full price and a lame oops sorry. This salon is a one-stop shop! I got a haircut and my eyebrows waxed. They do other facial waxing and offer full nail services. It was $40 for a women's wash, cut, and style, so super affordable! Dawn was fantastic. She was friendly, efficient, chatty, and a delight to work with. The salon was clean and didn't have any weird smells. Look at my pictures and tell me I'm not crazy.... these French tips are very crooked!!! Polish was left all over my fingers. I got them done today, Saturday September 29th at around 4:30pm. I'm posting now that I'm home. I took 3 out of 4 of the pictures in the car outside of the salon. I tried to tell her to fix the paint job & got nothing - she kept rushing me and tapping to insert my hand in the dryer thing instead of letting me point out the mistakes for her to fix. I tried to tell her to at least remove the polish from my skin & give her a chance to redeem herself, but she didn't understand me and just started filing my nails??.... she also kept checking her phone the entire time & kept stopping on my nails to text. I told the lady multiple times that the glitter was not chunky silver and she kept telling me that's all they had and that the glitter looked exactly like that one in my picture. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The people are HORRIBLY disrespectful and rude. My toes were completely messed up, looked nothing like the photo I showed her and on top of all that my pants were soaking wet and there are burn marks on my toes where she used the drill to take my previous gel off. Such a nice pedicure. I haven't gotten a pedicure in years and my mom wanted to get one when she visited me. We both went on a Thursday around 11 and we didn't have to wait at all. They did our pedicures back to back instead of at the same time, which is totally fine we didn't make an appointment so I understand. The nail tech really took her time and made sure it was precise. The prices were very reasonable also. The massage chair felt great and my toes left happy! Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place to other people. read more

If I could give this place -5/5 I totally would. My nails were different length,obviously, you'd expect them cut, right? The lady did not even bother unless I actually told her to cut them as they were different length! She looked super surprised when I told her about it. It gets better. The design I asked for was dots and a line. One single line. She could not do that even though I asked her several times if she can do lines. The line ended up being a sloppy, curved line. Towards, the end I noticed that my nail polish looks terrible due to the amount of layers she had put on. Once she decided to remove the nail polish fully, she managed to cut my fingers couple of times. My day is ruined. My mood is ruined. The worst worst worst experience in my life. read more

First time going here. I called ahead to ask if they had SNS dipping powder. They said yes so I stopped by. They honestly had two colors to choose from. I told her what color I was looking for and she said she will do an SNS base with a shellac top coat?? Makes no sense because that's not what I wanted but I agreed because I was already there. Have you been to one of those places that screws your nails up horribly, then blames you? Took 70 minutes for a fill (my nails are barely past the end of my fingers), and charged me $40. My sister took 40 minutes, her nails are super long, and she paid $35?!? This is that place. It's a crap shoot; sometimes you get a descent job, and today was the topper for me. She yelled at me when I questioned how horribly crooked they were, saying "you saw it...sometimes you have crooked finger" (all 10 of them???) and wanted me to stay to try and fix. Called ahead to make an appointment for a gel pedicure, they gave me a time slot of 6:15 and I knew they closed at 7. Going in during COVID I didn't know what to expect but it was pretty busy and there were 3 people getting pedicures so I had to wait until one of the customers was done. I waited about 20 minutes but I wasn't mad cause of social distancing. Seeing I was very pregnant (9 months to be exact) the lady who did my pedicure was gentle, let me soak my feet and massaged me a bit longer. Came home with soft not swollen feet. read more

I dropped in for a shellac mani and regular pedi last Wednesday. The ladies were polite and fast, but the quality is lacking. I had to file a rough spot off my nail before I even left the salon. My nails look lumpy and uneven. The edges of my nails are not clean - one of my nails was glued with shellac to my finger and I had to peel it up and clean it up with a file. This morning was the last straw when I noticed that two are already chipping and one is completely peeling off and it hasn't even been a week (nor am I hard on my hands). Got a full rebase done about 2 and a half weeks ago. 6 of them are already lifting and I completely lost 2 tips today. I can understand the polish getting chipped in 3 weeks, but for 6 perfectly new tips to pop off within 3 weeks is absurd!! Never had any problems with acrylics like that!!!
