Came here with a big group of 11 girlies on a bachelorette weekend away! We made reservations in advance. Karyn and Ariel helped us throughout our experience and were lovely and so hospitable. We had a room to lounge in with tea (mint & strawberry hibiscus) as well as snacks like nuts and fruit. Some comfy chairs to lounge in and neck pillows. Ariel was amazing at checking in with us throughout, refilling the hot water for tea, and making sure we didn't need anything else. We all had separate treatments, everything from facials to massages. They had us fill out forms in advance to get our information and massage preferences. It was really thorough - everything from what scented lotion we wanted to what type of music plays in the room. Allyson was my masseuse and she was wonderful. So friendly, I really enjoyed chatting with her throughout, and her hands worked magic. I felt so relaxed afterward. There was a moment during the massage where my back felt a little funny in one area, I told her, and she immediately helped target that area and was appreciative that I let her know. Spent the day at the spa to treat myself for Christmas and birthday. The shop is clean, calm, and dimly lite. They offer tea and water often. The warm neck pillow was lovely. I planned to get a package so i went on their website and priced it all out. I was under the impression that a package usually means a discount for bundling. Not the case here, actually it's an extra 12. I assumed that was for the nutritious meal that is mentioned. Interested in but to order one you must call full day of pampering but you have to call for packages. I called to book a wrap, facial, and massage. Since I was calling I assumed they know best what order to do them in and was scheduled. After receiving the wrap, which is more of a laydown and rub and facial I found out a massage first is usually recommended. However, they were relaxing and hopefully I am glowing. The massage, Jonathan, was very nice. Good pressure and everything smelled good. My shoulders definitely feel better. Did I enjoy it, yes. Was it worth the high price I paid, maybe. Would I do it again, the wrap and facial probably not but the massage definitely. I really liked my facialist tho she was a lovely person and did a great job. Okay, today was the day my parents had their first massage, and it was a success! I was so nervous that it wasn't going to go well, and the receptionist felt my angst and called me after their arrival to put me at ease. Both parents enjoyed their experience and actually said it would be nice to go again. My father didn't know what to expect at all, and he was excited and surprised to be able to chat with someone that lived in his previous stomping grounds from Denver. They knew the same schools and people, which made him more relaxed because he felt like he could trust them due to the comfort level. My mother specifically indicated how much better her lower back and neck felt. I want to thank your staff for making certain they had a wonderful experience! I visited Spavia and my immediate impression was that it is a high-quality, upmarket spa. The retreat room and treatment rooms are tranquil and relaxing. My facial was enjoyable, although I think the therapist was new and inexperienced. I tried the signature facial, but I was a little insulted when she suggested I have an anti-aging treatment instead because the signature facial wasn't "enough" at my age! I take exceptionally good care of my skin - that was just a rude sales pitch. I wanted to see what their basic facial was like first. First time visiting here and was very disappointed. My appt was at 950am I chose the Body scrub and Spray Tan for $99 that said last 1 hour. I got there was waiting for about 10 min and front desk gal comes back and says she "just saw" a text from gal that she has car trouble should be 15 minutes more. So I set a timer for 15 minutes and she comes get me 13 min later and says go ahead get undressed and step in spray tan tent. I ask what about the scrub and she tells me it's not on my schedule and proceeds to make me pull out my confirmation on phone and show her, like why would I lie? Once I show her she says ok hop in shower I'll bring you scrub. I'm baffled now. Everytime I've gotten a scrub at a spa it's a gal usually with jets that does a full body scrub a person usually can't get to spots on own. I scrub myself the best I can and step out dry off and start to spray tan and ask what about nails? Any place I've gotten they usually put a cream or gloves and she says oh just put your hands back. So I say no I need gloves. After done I ask the front desk gal so why do you pay $50 more for a scrub am I just paying for a solution and to wash myself? She says yes it's "specific" scrub for tan and takes an hour. (insert eye roll) I told her well I was barely back 20'minutes with person, she gives me $20 off and I am so frustrated I pay and leave. After about 15 minutes I get a call and front desk says I clarified with technician and it sounds like you didn't get the scrub so I'm crediting. What baffles me is that I told the gal that at the time and she gave me the "special scrub bs" so you didn't believe me and had to ask her? Suffice to say I will not be back. They blamed time and confusion on not getting proper scrub but that's not my fault I was on time and waiting and if you couldn't give scrub then you should have addressed in the room and asked if I just wanted to shower myself then communicated to front desk. And if front desk wasn't aware they should call a manager or something and ask. All this was handled badly. read more

The services were fine, but the facility did not meet my standards and neither did the scheduling of my spa package. I purchased a package of 3 services and was told after my massage that I had to wait an hour for the next service. This was something that should have been discussed on the phone during the scheduling process. I would not have purchased this if I had known that. I was told to take a shower while waiting if I wanted, but when I got in the shower it was broken. I touched the shower handle and it literally fell to the ground and I was naked trying to fix it. Not at all what I was expecting from a spa. After showering I still had 45 minutes to wait and there was nothing at this spa for that wait time. No baths, pools, hot tubs, no accessible drinking water for clients, really nothing at all. Not worth the price point. I was so frustrated about this scheduling and timing issue. Poor scheduling and poor facilities. I highly recommend taking your money to a more established spa with more amenities and if you do use this spa, be sure to inquire about your package scheduling so you aren't sitting for an hour with nothing to do. When leaving and trying to pay, the front desk worker would not stop pushing me to buy a monthly membership and upsell me. Even after saying no, she kept pushing me and it was uncomfortable. Hard sales after a spa treatment? Way to take someone right out of their relaxation. No thanks. The lack of caring from the administrative workers here is very evident and a better client facing staff is needed. It's so annoying to spend hard earned money on relaxation, only to be disappointed and slightly uncomfortable by sales attempts when leaving. Really makes it seem like a business that absolutely does not care about their clientele and only cares about making money and fitting clients into bookings so that they can max out their payout. I get it, it's a business. But, I'll be taking my money elsewhere in the future. read more

This is the first time I've ever had a spa membership. I love it. Totally worth it for the essential membership. I also upgrade sometimes to get sports massages or other premier benefits. All the workers are very sweet. I love walking in to the calming spa music. There's showers and robes in the locker room and you're more than welcome to tea after your treatments. I've had essential massages, sports massage, couples massage, a facial, make up testing and the spray tan with scrub and they've all been a great experience. I had a facial service with kacey and it was wonderful she made sure my skin was moisturized and we set up an entire regimen for my future services to get me to having perfect skin. She relaxing and speaks so soft and gentle and give an amazing hot stone arm and hand massage. She gave me a complimentary scalp massage because she was running a little bit behind. But I didn't mind at all. She's so sweet, you guys are lucky to have her!! Was thinking about closing my account but because of the regimen we discussed she completely changed my mind!! Our next service I am calling in for is a light chemical peel as recommended! Nice, clean facility that offers a myriad of services. I've been to a few Spavia locations and came here thanks to a Groupon offer. Signing up for a single session is really easy, you can book online or call in. I arrived 15 minutes early to do the standard paperwork and such and then was taken to the locker room and relaxation area before my massage. I love the sitting area with soothing music and hot tea, I could seriously just sit in there and be happy. My massage? Eh. I think I had a newer girl and she really didn't have a lot of confidence but she didn't talk that much, which is exactly what I was looking for, and was decent so I really can't complain. When I was leaving, the check in girl asked if my masseuse talked to me about their packages and even though she didn't, I said yes because I didn't want the whole selling-me-a-membership schpeal. read more

I've been looking for a spa to have regular facials (I hadn't had one since I moved here in over 2 years!) I just did a Yelp search for facials in Denver, and Spavia got great reviews, was close to my house, and offered a $30 off first time visit! It was a no brainer to try them out! I arrived 15 minutes early, per request, and I'm glad I did. They have a nice waiting area after you undress and are waiting for your spa experience. It's dim lit with water fountains and ambient noise with tea and water while you wait. It's a nice touch! Definitely not what I'm accustomed to, so bonus points there! My facial was with Nicole, who did a great job! She offered some suggestion on my routine at home to help with some of my problem areas. I'm actually loving the enzyme cleaner that she suggested I try. When my facial was over, I opted to sign up for the monthly membership (I did this back in Dallas and it was worth its weight in gold!) I'm really looking forward to going monthly now. And, an added perk on the monthly membership is if you can't or don't want to use a credit, you can add a "family member" who can go in your place or they just roll over for future credits. It's a really good deal if you ask me. It's a luxury to treat ourselves, and this is a good way to remind me to take care of myself! I can't wait for my next visit! Do not go here !!! Very unprofessional. My partner tried to make a romantic surprise for me the company called me directly after my husband telling them 7 times it is a surprise. the night before they insist they have to speak to me. So the surprise was ruined. They told me to come to the facility 30 minutes prior to fill out paperwork. I get there and have been waiting for 20 minutes. The massage therapist came in and said it will be a couple of minutes I am running late. I go to the desk and let them know I am upset I need to be somewhere at a time and would like to not have the massage anymore son they are running behind and ruined a gift for me. They say we will have to run your card anyway. So they want to charge me for them being late and unprofessional. They clearly do not pay their staff enough or have enough staff. read more

This place is the worst. I would definitely not recommend any sort of membership and in fact, just canceled the one that I had, and even that was not easy. Most of their practitioners are below average. I have never received any sort of salt scrub here that was even close to worth what I paid. Some of their massage therapists are absolutely awful. Like, so awful you wonder where they went to school? If you happen to find a massage therapist who's average to above average, there are about three there right now that fall into that category, they are invested in their field and work, but you could find better quality elsewhere. I hate saying that because these good massage therapists are really nice people but it's true, you can find better massages elsewhere. The front desk is constantly changing, they are in-inept. Fake nice. Ugh. They make a big deal out of you choosing your lotions and your preferences and your music but I've never actually received my preferences 100%. Every single therapist has insisted upon talking to me, when I've requested not to, and only one has played the music that I requested. I got really turned off with all the back-and-forth and misinformation with the cancellation process but had already considered canceling prior due to the crappy services I received, as well as the fact one time, they had a provider run 30 minutes over for a scrub. Instead of elongating my massage, they cut it short, said they didn't have the time to do it, and offered me some sort of 'free upgrade' like hot stones for another massage. I don't want that crap, I want what I'm paying for and what I requested! It's not my fault your providers can't keep track of their time. You can't penalize your clients for that. If you live in the area, it's super convenient and I'm sad that they offer such crappy service, massage, scrubs, and general customer service, because it's nice to have something so close. But I just can't justify continuing paying this amount for such bad service. read more
