The young lady greeted me with a wonderful smile, and paperwork to fill out. The waiting area was clean, and offered many products for sale. The service room was neat, and tidy. Kat offered a warm bed, clean robe and hair band. The service was amazing. Kat not only did a wonderful job with my facial Dermaplane, she offered a wonderful neck, shoulder and arm massage. The oils, lotions and products she used smelt amazing! And my results were awesome! I came for a "1 Hour Deep Tissue or Swedish Massage" offered through Groupon. I walked in and was greeted by the owner who quickly offered me a seat and a beverage of hot tea, coffee or water...and a cookie. She is extremely hospitable! My appointment was 1pm. The massage therapist, was running behind because the owner had booked her appointments back to back to back. This is never a good sign. I met the massage therapist at 1:25pm. She seemed to know a lot about the human body. She rattled off her credentials to me which was odd, to say the least. As it was there was no "option" for Swedish or Deep Tissue as shown on the Groupon. It was Louise's "somewhere between Swedish and Deep Tissue" that was offered along with the option to have the fascia stretched. My massage started at 1:30 exactly. The fascia stretch is Louise's her forte and she's sold on it, so that's what you get, for 30 minutes. Then you get a 15 minute massage, with cold massage oil squirted on your body multiple times, in the area you requested. And then you are done. Yes. Done. No 1 hour massage. Instead a 45 minute "semi" massage. The room is decorated nicely. The music is of a Pan Flute which is relaxing. However, you can still hear KLove on the radio outside the door and all the conversations that happen in the boutique. The room could use some sound proofing. I won't be back to Niche. The massage simply wasn't good enough. And it has nothing to do with how much pressure. Truth be told, I'm not convinced the massage therapist knows how to give a proper massage. In addition, she is not allowed a break in between which is unacceptable!

I feel it's worth the money and when I'm back in town intend on booking another facial there!
