This place also doubles as a food pantry, but there are no public restrooms here. Prices here are pretty much less than what you would pay at Goodwill. I noticed the last month the prices on items have gone up and are ridiculously priced. It's becoming like Goodwill. I get they need profit to keep running, but some of the pricing there is comparable to what you'd pay brand new at a store. I also thought the lady who rung me up was rude. She asked if I was paying cash, I said no, then she tapped her finger on a sign that said no under $5 with an attitude. Like lady, I am here to support your organization, you don't need to be rude that I'm trying to buy something. It was very off putting. I went and bought something to make it $5 and went on my way. I saw frames in there that were like $14...there's no way a used frame should be that much. I saw a tiny pumpkin $3..Clothes is $4-5, dressed $7-8...Sounds like Goodwill. I said, I wish I did. Most signs display pricing. If you see something with no pricing, ask the friendly staff behind the counter. At the counter, you will find some extremely chic eyewear items. We accidentally stopped by because I forgot to pack my sunglasses. Resale shops are becoming my favorite places besides resale bookstores and libraries. This is my one of favorite stores. I will gladly drive a few hours from Houston to check them out. We stayed overnight in downtown. Their nightlife is great. Cannot wait to return.
